Junko prepares to make her move as the group arrives the Deep Jungle, let's see what fun and games they get up to here.
(Back at the villains' location; Junko, Mukuro and Monokuma are speaking to Maleficent and her associates.)
(Among them were Jafar, a tall bony-looking man with a goatee, wearing a black and red robe, a long red cape, and a black headdress holding a cobra scepter. Captain Hook, a pirate with red clothing and a large hat, with long black hair and a mustache, and a hook where his left hand is. And Oogie Boogie, a walking, fat burlap sack with black holes for eyes and a mouth)
(Cue Villains of a Sort)
Maleficent: Are your preparations complete?
Junko: Finally done! Ready to ship out to worlds across the stars!
Captain Hook: And the Princess?
Mukuro: She'll be here very soon, they're sending her now.
Jafar: Things seem to be progressing rapidly thanks to you two.
Junko: Aw shucks, it's nothing.
Oogie Boogie: It's gonna be despair all over Halloween tonight! Gah-ha-ha-ha-ha!
Mukuro: Hopefully this'll mean we can get back to our original plan soon.
Jafar: Someone looking to continue their little game?
Junko: Hell to the yeah!
Junko: Although, there's still one thing we can afford to ignore.
Oogie Boogie: You mean the little runt and his merry band of misfits?
Maleficent: He won't be an issue to us for much longer. With these units under our control, soon even the Keyblade bearer himself shall succumb to darkness.
Monokuma: You shouldn't underestimate Makoto Naegi, he may look like a plain uninteresting boy but… wait what am I talking about!? He's dead meat, Hahahahahahahahahaha!
Oogie Boogie: I like this guy!
Junko: Still, it would be nice to have a little fun. I'm off!
(Junko begins to leave the room)
Maleficent: And where do you think you are going?
Junko: I'm bored, so I'm gonna go bother Makoto for a bit, see where he's at and all that junk.
Junko: Mukuro, send out the Monokuma units and make sure you get it right.
Mukuro: Understood!
Jafar: You shouldn't be so reckless my dear.
Captain Hook: Give the darkness an inch, and you'll wish you'll be walking the plank.
Captain Hook: It's as cruel as the open waters, but the creatures be twice as deadly.
Junko: Oh don't worry, I may not look it but…
(She turns to them, a dark aura surrounding her and her eyes devoid of color)
Junko: I'm not one to let anyone command me, be it a person, or darkness.
Junko: I am my own master, and I'm not dying till he suffers…
(And with that, Junko departs, prepared to meet up with Makoto)
Maleficent: That one… the power she possesses can be truly frightening.
Mukuro: Try having to live with her.
Jafar: Why remain loyal to someone so dangerous?
Mukuro: We may not share the same last name, but our bond goes deeper than blood ever could.
Mukuro: I hold her in the highest regard, and have a debt I may never pay off.
Mukuro: It's my job to see to it she experiences despair to its maximum potential, and what I saw before our world was destroyed…
Mukuro: It is a sight I never want to see again.
Oogie Boogie: That sounds bad.
Mukuro: It'll get worse if I don't help her.
Mukuro: But then again… that doesn't sound like such a bad thing.
(Mukuro chuckles)
Captain Hook: Heavens help us to see these lasses in their own world.
Mukuro: Alright Monokumas! You have your mission, head out and find the Keyholes! And if you see Makoto or any of his friends…
Mukuro: Execute them on sight.
Monokuma: You got it! Alright maggots, MOVE OUT!
(The Monokumas disappear from the room)
Maleficent: Time to put them to the test, one can only imagine the chaos they will bring along with the Heartless.
Mukuro: Yes…
(Meanwhile, Makoto and his friends are seen flying through space)
Mondo: Damn, this really is quite the sight.
Sayaka: Is the world close?
Chihiro: We should be almost there.
Celeste: Hold on, I think I see it.
(Right ahead of them looked to be a jungle-like world, a large tree house being visible amongst the thicket)
Hifumi: It looks to be some sort of jungle.
Makoto: Is anyone there?
Chihiro: The map doesn't lie, it's picking up on someone's e-Handbook. And it's coming right from that world.
Celeste: That place better not be humid, I do not want my makeup running. There would be no way to fix it if it did run.
Hifumi: That's what you're worried about?
Makoto: Alright then, take us i-
(Suddenly, another ship zoomed by them, hitting them and causing Chihiro to lose control)
Sayaka: Whoa- What's happening!?
Chihiro: Something hit the ship!
Mondo: Well get it under control!
Chihiro: I can't keep it steady, we're going down!
Celeste: If I ever find who hit us, I'm going to kill them!
(They screamed as the ship was sent careening into the world. Makoto ended up crashing into the treehouse, Chihiro followed soon after)
Makoto: Agh… my head…
Makoto: You okay Chihiro?
Chihiro: I think I'll… be okay.
Chihiro: What was that?
Makoto: It's like… something hit us.
Chihiro: I should've kept the ship under control. I knew it, I'm… I'm weak.
Makoto: No Chihiro, don't be like that-
(Soon a footstep is heard, someone or something is watching them…)
Chihiro: M-Makoto… Did you…?
Makoto: Yeah, I heard. We're not alone here.
(They look up to the railing on the second floor, and there they find a large leopard. It jumps from the second floor down towards the two. Makoto draws out his Keyblade and blocks the incoming attack, but it follows through and knocks him aside)
Makoto: Ack!
Chihiro: Makoto!
(The leopard notices Chihiro and snarls at her before pouncing. Luckily she manages to get her orb activated and prevents it from damaging her. Noticing Chihiro in danger, Makoto leaps into action and knocks the leopard aside)
Makoto: Get away from her!
(Cue Deep Jungle battle theme)
(The leopard roars loudly as Makoto and Chihiro prepare to do battle. It leaps towards Makoto, but he blocks and prevents the follow through attack by swiping at it. He launches it into the air, allowing Chihiro to fire some energy shots at it)
(Despite the damage, the leopard is still not down yet as it violently swipes at Makoto. Though barely, he manages to dodge it before attacking it with fire magic. Chihiro then charges into the beast and knocks it into a few crates. Angered, it leaps out, but she's able to counter with a large energy shot before it strikes)
Chihiro: *phew* That was close…
(The leopard seemed down for the count, so Makoto walked up to it to make sure. However, it was revealed to have been faking it, and quickly gets back up.)
(Just as Makoto and Chihiro get ready to keep fighting, a wild man with long brown hair holding a spear, wearing nothing but a brown cloth around his waist appears and blocks the leopard's attack, knocking the beast back. Knowing it was outnumbered and outmatched, it jumped out the window, breaking the glass in the process)
?: Sabor, danger.
Makoto: Um...thank you.
?: Thank you.
Chihiro: U-Um, what is this place?
?: This place, this place.
Makoto: I'm… not sure he understands.
Chihiro: Did you see anyone else?
?: Hmm?
Makoto: We were separated from our friends. Have you seen them?
?: …..?
Makoto: Friends…
?: Friends!
Chihiro: Yeah friends!
Chihiro: There's Mondo, Celeste, Sayaka and Hifumi!
?: Hmm?
Makoto: That's not all, there are much more. Have you seen anyone named Byakuya or Kyoko around here?
?: Look for Byakuya, friends?
Chihiro: R-Right…
(Chihiro was a bit hesitant given Byakuya's attitude, but she knew better than to leave anyone suffering. While the man was talking, the two noticed someone behind him)
?: Kyoko, friends?
Makoto: Uhh...right.
(Ironically, they saw Kyoko there, but it seemed to be an illusion as she walked out of their vision and disappeared from sight)
?: Friends here.
Chihiro: Really!?
?: *&&X%
Makoto: Huh?
?: *&&X% Friends here.
Chihiro: I'm… not sure I understand.
Makoto: Can you show us please? Take us to them?
(The man suddenly held his hands up to his chest and introduced himself)
Tarzan: Tarzan. Tarzan go.
Makoto: I'm Makoto.
Chihiro: And I'm Chihiro.
Makoto: Tarzan go. Makoto and Chihiro, go go!
(Chihiro giggles at Makoto repeating Tarzan's words as he opened the door to the treehouse. Outside, they see they are far above the jungle)
(Cue Deep Jungle theme)
Chihiro: Wow…
Makoto: I hope there's a safe way down.
(Meanwhile, at ground level, the others have landed in the midst of a bamboo thicket)
Sayaka: Makoto! Where are you!?
Mondo: Chihiro! Come out!
Hifumi: Olly olly oxen-free! Olly olly oxen-free!
Celeste: Where are they?
Mondo: Damn it! Whoever hit us better be ready for a serious fuckin' pounding!
Celeste: Get in line Mondo, I want the first hit.
Sayaka: Makoto…
Hifumi: Chin up, I'm sure we'll all be reunited in no time at-
Hifumi: Huh?
(Hifumi suddenly comes face to face with a gorilla, and after a few seconds of processing info they both scream in shock. Then rustling is heard from within the thicket)
Celeste: What was that?
Mondo: Heartless?
(The gorilla runs away, dropping a gummi on the way out, which Sayaka notices and pockets. The rustling gets closer as the group braces themselves. Out walks two figures, one an older looking man with a pencil mustache wearing a yellow jacket and holding a musket. And the other was someone they knew all too well…)
Mondo: N-No fucking way.
Sayaka: It can't be!
Hifumi: It's-
(Back at the treehouse…)
Chihiro: So, how do we get down?
Tarzan: Jump.
Makoto: Wait, jump?
(Tarzan does just that, jumping to the net below before jumping down into the trees)
Makoto: Th-That's a big drop!
Chihiro: I don't know if we should do this.
Makoto: Well, it doesn't look like there's any other way down.
(They both descend to the net right below the treehouse before slowly walking to the edge and looking down, gulping at the drop)
Chihiro: Can we… do this?
Makoto: As long as we stick together.
(Makoto reaches his arm out, though scared, Chihiro grasps Makoto's hand as they prepare to jump)
Makoto: On three! One… two…
Chihiro: Three!
(They both leap off, hand in hand, screaming until they fall on a few branches that make their fall much safer. As they make their landing, their eyes are still closed and are still screaming, until they realize they're not moving anymore)
Makoto: Huh… that wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
Chihiro: Th-That was scary.
Tarzan: Friends.
(They notice Tarzan and follow him to the treetop, and notice he's directing them down a fallen tree trunk)
Makoto: We're supposed to slide through here?
Tarzan: Follow.
(Tarzan jumps in first, knowing it's the only way Makoto and Chihiro soon follow. Then they notice they're sliding down slippery trees covered in moss)
Makoto: Whoa! We're sliding!
Chihiro: This is so cool! I thought I could never do this!
Tarzan: This way!
(The two follow Tarzan down through the trees, performing some shall we say crazy maneuvers along the way. Eventually they end up reaching a jump before going down, and landing in what looks to be an encampment)
Chihiro: Ehehe, that was fun!
Makoto: Glad to see you're feeling better Chihiro.
Chihiro: Well… somewhat.
Makoto: Don't worry, it wasn't your fault.
Makoto: But, what is this place?
Chihiro: It looks like someone's set up camp here.
Tarzan: This way.
Makoto: Come on, let's go.
(The two follow Tarzan into a tent, upon entering they find it's occupied by a brown haired woman in a beige tank top and a long brown sarong)
Tarzan: Jane!
Jane: Tarzan! Oh, and who are they?
Makoto: Oh, hi. My name's-
Jane: Oh, you speak English!
Chihiro: Uh….
Jane: So, then, obviously, you're not related to Tarzan…
Jane: Are you here to study the gorillas?
Makoto: Gorillas?
?: Highly doubtful.
(Suddenly in walked a hunter, and the rest of Makoto's group)
Sayaka: Makoto!
Makoto: Guys, you're okay!
(Makoto went up and hugged Sayaka, glad to be reunited. Chihiro went up to them as well, glad to be together again)
Chihiro: You wouldn't believe what we've already been through!
Mondo: Forget that, you wouldn't believe who we found!
Makoto: Huh?
(As if on cue, in walked a familiar face… Sakura Ogami)
Makoto/Chihiro: Sakura!
(They immediately went up and hugged the fighter)
Sakura: It has been some time, are you alright?
Chihiro: We should be asking you that? I know you're strong and all, but even you couldn't-
Sakura: I know, luckily there haven't been any here.
Sakura: These people found me and took me here, so I stayed and helped out.
Celeste: It was certainly a surprise to find Sakura here.
?: A circus of clowns. Not much use for hunting gorillas.
Celeste: What!?
Jane: Mr. Clayton, we're studying them, not hunting them. This is research.
(Ignoring Jane, Clayton stepped out of the tent)
Celeste: What nerve.
Sakura: Ignore him.
Celeste: Already done.
Jane: Well, the more the merrier. Do make yourselves at home.
Mondo: Sure, whatever.
Sayaka: Oh right, we found something on our way here. Check this out.
(Sayaka holds out the gummi they found)
Chihiro: A gummi block? Here?
Sakura: You know what it is?
Chihiro: Yeah, I was told about them when we got our-
Chihiro: Our ship! Where is it!?
Mondo: Don't worry, it got damaged a bit but still flyable. We managed to get it out of sight.
Chihiro: Oh… thanks…
Celeste: I hope you aren't blaming yourself for what happened.
Chihiro: I-I can't help it, I should've known it was-
Mondo: Oh cut that shit out Chihiro, no one could've seen that coming. Don't blame yourself.
Chihiro: But manning the ship was my job and I was supposed to keep us safe. I really am weak.
Jane: Oh don't be like that, I'm sure it was just an accident. Besides, your friends are unharmed right?
Chihiro: Well, yeah-
Jane: Then all is well, no one's hurt.
Chihiro: Yeah…
Makoto: So, who's Tarzan really?
Jane: Oh, well apparently Tarzan was raised in the jungle by the gorillas.
Hifumi: Raised by gorillas? That must've been one awkward-
Celeste: Do not finish that sentence or I will cut out your tongue.
Hifumi: Y-Yes ma'am!
Jane: Communication hasn't been easy, but he's definitely learning.
Chihiro: So he was speaking "gorilla" back there.
Sayaka: Huh?
Makoto: We spoke to him not long after we landed, and when we brought up our friends there was one word we couldn't understand.
Hifumi: Do you think Miss Ogami isn't the only one here?
Chihiro: Possibly.
Jane: Looking for your friends?
Makoto: Yeah, have you seen anyone like Sakura here?
Jane: No, but if Tarzan has an idea, I think I might have something that can help.
(Jane brings out a few slides)
Jane: We'll show these to Tarzan and see if anything there matches the word.
Celeste: Well, it is worth a shot.
(Jane puts the slides into the projector and a few images show up. One of a castle happens to catch Makoto's attention)
Makoto: …
Sayaka: What's wrong, you look like you're deep in thought.
Makoto: I don't know why but...that place looks familiar to me.
Makoto: (But I know I haven't been to any castle before Hope's Peak)
Hifumi: Maybe something to do with our memories?
Mondo: Whatever it is, it'll have to wait for later.
(Mondo was right, so they held off on that for now as Jane showed a few more images. Not long after…)
Jane: Well Tarzan?
Tarzan: ….
Makoto: Have you seen anyone else?
(Tarzan shakes his head, indicating no)
Makoto: Does that mean…?
Chihiro: But what about-
Clayton: That leaves just one place.
(Clayton re-enters the tent)
Clayton: Young man, we've been in this jungle for some time now.
Clayton: But aside from the young lady, we've yet to encounter these friends of yours.
Mondo: At least he didn't confuse her for a man.
Hifumi: No kidding.
Clayton: I'd wager they're with the gorillas. But Tarzan refuses to take us to them.
Jane: Really Mr. Clayton. Tarzan wouldn't hide-
Clayton: Then take us there! Take us to the gorillas. Go-ril-las.
(Tarzan looks to the group, as if in thought, then nods)
Jane: Tarzan...are you sure?
Tarzan: Tarzan go see Kerchak.
Makoto: Kerchak?
Sakura: He must be the leader. We best come along then.
Sayaka: Yeah, after that incident I don't want us to get separated again.
Clayton: Perfect. I'll go along as an escort. After all, the jungle is a dangerous place.
(Unbeknownst to the group, Clayton grins)
Jane: Are you sure you all want to go? Gorillas are usually afraid of larger groups.
Hifumi: True, but let's just say we'd prefer not to leave each other behind like this. It's a...rather long and winded story.
Sayaka: Well, let's go see those gorillas!
(Tarzan leads the group and Clayton out of the tent. But upon exiting, a roar is heard)
Tarzan: Sabor!
Chihiro: That leopard again?
Sakura: Allow me to-
Makoto: It's alright, we can handle it.
(Sabor then jumps out of nowhere while Makoto is off guard, fortunately Sayaka manages to intercept the beast before it strikes and knocks it back)
Sayaka: What was that about handling it?
(Makoto laughs nervously as Sayaka goes to handle the beast, Celeste and Mondo following behind)
Mondo: First a dog now a leopard, talk about moving up in the world!
(Mondo tosses the iron ball at Sabor and manages to spin the beast around before launching it into the air. Just as it starts falling down, Celeste grabs Sabor with her wires and slams it into the ground)
Celeste: Pathetic beast.
(Sabor runs off into the jungle)
Clayton: Amazing work, how did you manage to do that?
Mondo: A lotta hard work, now quit askin' questions and let's keep moving.
(Tarzan leads the group to the Hippos' lagoon)
Sakura: So where do we go from here?
(Tarzan climbs up some vines)
Clayton: Surely you're not expecting us to go up?
Makoto: There doesn't seem to be anywhere else to go.
Hifumi: I don't think I'm built for this.
Celeste: Perhaps if you cut back on the snacks, you wouldn't be so rotund.
Hifumi: I know…
Sayaka: Well we can't stop here, onwards and upwards!
Celeste: Fine, but I better not lose my heels!
(There were plenty of vines so they all climbed up, eventually reaching the top after a while)
Hifumi: I never… want to do that… again!
Chihiro: I get the feeling it's only gonna get harder from here.
Sayaka: Tarzan? Where are you?
Tarzan: Here!
(The group looks to Tarzan by some hanging vines, he proceeds to swing from vine to vine until he reaches the ledge on the other side, indicating they have to follow him)
Mondo: You can't be serious!
Celeste: Well, it won't be too different from what I have already been doing.
Sayaka: I'm not sure if-
(Suddenly Makoto gets a running start and begins swinging from vine to vine until he reaches Tarzan)
Makoto: Huh, that was easier than I thought.
Clayton: Well, if the boy can do it I see no reason for us to hesitate.
(Clayton soon follows behind Makoto, the others shortly behind the hunter as well. As soon as they all arrive at the next platform, Tarzan ends up finding a few gorillas far on another branch. Kerchak, a large beefy gorilla who was the leader of the group; and Kala, a smaller brown female who raised Tarzan)
(Noticing them, Tarzan stepped forward and began pleading with them while the others silently watched behind him)
Tarzan: Kerchak, please listen to me.
Kerchak: …
Tarzan: I know the nesting grounds are secret, but I trust them.
Tarzan: You see, I want to help because…
Tarzan: ...because...well, they need us.
(Though he pleaded, the group couldn't understand him)
Hifumi: Did any of you guys catch that?
Celeste: No.
Tarzan: Kerchak!
(Kerchak simply remained silent as he and Kala began walking away)
Tarzan: Kerchak…
(After they left…)
Sayaka: I don't know why but…
Sayaka: He seemed sort of distracted by something.
Clayton: What makes you say that?
Sayaka: Well…
Sayaka: I'm psychic.
Clayton: What!?
Sayaka: Kidding, I just have good intuition.
Clayton: I-I see…
Chihiro: You think he was looking towards the tree house?
Makoto: Probably, let's go guys!
(They keep on moving up, eventually reaching the treetops. Tarzan leads them through despite a few difficulties and they eventually reach the treehouse. Clayton sneaks aside from the group while they take in the sight, and there he notices Terk, the small gorilla most of the group saw earlier, playing with a globe and aims his musket)
Sayaka: Huh?
(Out of the corner of her eye she notices Clayton snuck off and sees him aiming his musket at something. A bit of moving around later and she catches him aiming at a gorilla)
Sayaka: *gasp*!
(She gets the group's attention as she runs off to stop Clayton, the others following behind her. As he's about to shoot…)
Sayaka: STOP!
(Sayaka's scream catches Clayton off guard and he fires, Terk notices and manages to dodge in time before jumping onto the second level, just as Kerchak arrives)
Mondo: What the hell is wrong with you!?
Sakura: We did not come here to shoot them.
(Tarzan ignores Clayton for now and tries pleading with Kerchak again)
Tarzan: Wait, Kerchak. Please!
(Disappointed in Tarzan, Kerchak leaves, Terk following not long after. Everyone soon directed their attention to Clayton, angered at his actions)
Chihiro: Wh-What did you do that for!? That poor thing never hurt anyone.
Celeste: It is the nature of a hunter to hunt for sport, defenseless or not.
Clayton: N-No, you don't understand! I was only trying to…
Clayton: Ah. A snake slithered by, you see.
Clayton: I saved that poor gorilla's life.
(Tarzan simply hung his head down, ashamed. The others didn't buy Clayton's story anymore than the wild man did)
Celeste: Hmph, miserable wretch.
Clayton: What?
Hifumi: You should be ashamed of yourself Mr. Clayton!
Makoto: …
Clayton: B-But I…
Sakura: No more excuses. I'm sure Miss Jane would want to hear about this.
(Sakura picks Clayton up by his shoulder and drags him along, the others ready to head back to camp)
(One fast travel back down later, the group returns to the camp and informs Jane of what happened)
Makoto: And that's the whole story.
Jane: Unbelievable! How could you do such a thing?!
Clayton: Now, Miss Porter, as I told you, I was not aiming at the gorilla.
Jane: You are *not* to go near the gorillas again!
Clayton: All because of one mishap? Come, now…
Makoto: You expect us to believe you after that?
(Everyone glared at Clayton, judging him for his actions as he nervously laughed and walked backwards before stomping out of the tent. Once he was out of sight and far away from them...)
Clayton: What am I doing with these imbeciles?
Clayton: Blasted gorillas! I'll hunt down every last one of them!
Clayton: I'll track them down somehow. I'll stake my life on it.
(He takes out his smoking pipe as he hears a girl giggling)
Clayton: What? Who's there?
?: "Stake your life on it?" Pretty powerful words.
(The girl steps out, and it's revealed to be Junko Enoshima)
(Cue Villains of a Sort)
Junko: But you're still too weak to follow up on that.
Clayton: Who are you to judge me?
(Suddenly, Heartless in the form of small blue chimps appear beside her)
Junko: Someone who knows a thing or two about real power.
Clayton: Gah…
Junko: I see darkness in you, you might just be useful.
Clayton: Useful?
Junko: You want to hunt the gorillas right?
Junko: Then if you let me, I'll give you a little something to help.
Clayton: Don't be preposterous! How could a girl like you assist a man with hunting?
Junko: Oh those outdated ideals, how cute.
(She walks up to Clayton and holds him by the collar of his shirt)
Junko: I'm touched you're trying to be a gentleman, but in case you didn't realize it, I'm the one with the upper hand.
(Then smacks his face and knocks him down)
Junko: So don't give me any of that crap!
Junko: Now, where was I? Oh right!
Clayton: What are you going to do?
Junko: I'm helping you out… whether you want it or not.
Junko: Snack time boys!
(The Heartless charge towards the hunter as he panics and fires his shotgun. The shot ringing through the jungle and catching the group's attention)
Makoto: Huh?
Celeste: Did Clayton get attacked?
Sayaka: I don't like him, but we shouldn't just leave him be. What if he hurt another gorilla?
Hifumi: It's worth checking out at least, let's go!
Tarzan: Jane, stay.
Jane: I'll be fine, you be careful.
(The group exits the tent to find out what that shot was about)
The Queen makes her grand entrance along with the Heartless, only a matter of time till she has her fun with the group as well. Next time, the hunt is on as the group tries to keep it together to stop Junko, Clayton, and the hordes of Heartless from harming the gorillas and taking over the world.
