I'm going to start posting my unfinished ideas alongside the stories here. This was originally posted in the Scrapyard. Hope y'all enjoy.

FREE UNDER GLOWING SKIES:

When Ranger Jack O'Nell learned he would be part of a team sent to the Cheyenne Mountain Complex, he expected a mind numbingly boring couple of weeks, not to find a giant ring that one of the egg-heads claims can send people to other worlds.

ARC I (2286) Stargate: the NCR discovers the Stargate and the work done to get it to work in Cheyenne mountain complex while working with a new state of the NCR to clear out the base.

After allying with the Followers of the Apocalypse (including Danial Jackson) they manage to activate the gate and send a team (commanded by jack O'Nell) through the Stargate to Abados, where the events of the movie occur except Ferette sends a Mini-Nuke into the throne room, killing Ra

The NCR forces and the abadosians manage to capture the Cheops.

The Courier learns of the program in the last scene

Stargate Alliance is formed by the Followers of the Apocalypse and NCR

ARC II (2286-7) Growth: The NCR attempts to move the Mothership (named the Republic) to Earth while integrating Abados into the Republic. The ship gets into a confrontation with the Lone Wanderer commanding Mothership Zeta, thinking the ship is under the control of the Goa'uld like the ship's computer says.

SGC ends up contacting the Lone Wanderer and getting her to add her resources to the SGC.

Interrogation of the slaves of Ra gives the NCR a clearer (if still obscured) picture of the Goa'uld.

Abados Cartouche is discovered

Gate travel and colonization begins

Elizabeth Weir leads a diplomatic mission attempting to convince the people of the Minoan World (season one) to join the NCR.

Intermission Chapter: Naquadah being transported from Colorado to California is stolen on the way. SG-1 and a few other teams are sent undercover with the caravan, leading to the discovery of the Brotherhood being the ones responsible. However, even after their defeat, Naquadah still goes missing

ARC III (2287) Awakened Warriors: Earth is attacked by Apothis, kidnapping a NCR soldier and a Follower of the Apocalypse. A similar event occurs on Abados, but with the address of Chulac seen. SGC attacks Chulac and gains Teal'c as an ally.

Follower of the Apocalypse is bought by Hecate, starting the long suffering of Gabriella Morrow

ARC IV (2287) Revenge of the SGC: SGC, under the order of the Alliance members, begins to attack Apothis' territory using info given by Teal'c

Most notable of the attacks is on the world of P3X-192, which sees the SGC capturing 4 brand new Al'kesh Bombers used to raid nearby Goa'uld's territories. The SGC send the Al'Kesh back to Earth the conventional way while taking most of the equipment on the world for the creation of a new airbase at area 51.

Gabriella Morrow, under the control of Hecate, lives on the world of Goes (meaning magician, healer, diviner or similar things), slowly fealing as if her mind is failing and being subsumed

Capital Wasteland is offered statehood in exchange for help with the swarm of raiders that arrived after the brotherhood left and took most of the advanced goods (only not taking purity due to some resistance from members and the threat of war). The Capital Wasteland agrees, becoming the state of Capital. Construction of the Transcontinental Railroad begins

Independent chapter: The events of " brief candle" take place but the SGC continues research throughout, with some hoping to use it to create perfect soldiers and others wanting to help people with it, while those opposing want it destroyed as a threat to humanity. The samples are mostly destroyed but one is taken by an agent of the Big Empty embedded in the SGC.

ARC V Serpent's Invasion (2288): Danial Jackson goes through the Quantum Mirror, arriving in a world where the Goa'uld are invading. He learns that one of the main centers of resistance is the Big Empty, which is defended by powerful technology and weaponry.

Using the same way as the show, Jackson returns home, not only with the information on the location of the attack's base, but also of the power of the Big Empty as an ally.

Elizabeth Weir and the leader of the Old Mormon Fort Followers are sent to negotiate with the leader of the Big Empty, who she learns is the Courier, someone who disappeared after the event of the Second Battle of Hoover Dam. Manage to gain his help in exchange for admittance of the Big Empty into the Stargate Alliance and a continual supply of non-earth elements.

Through this they learn that the US Air Force discovered a Goa'uld ship on Earth and began to research it at the Big Mountain facility (gaining the tech for plasma rifles and the Crystals used in the computer connected to the Gate)

The NCR and SGC send a large strike force through the gate, but it is cut off due to the moving stargate, and the few dozen troops that make it, including SG-1, are captures or killed.

The Ha'taks arrive at Earth, ending up in a fight with the Republic, Mothership Zeta, and the 4 Al'kesh, Defender, Protector, Civilizer, Warrior,

The Warrior and Protector are destroyed while the Republic is heavily damaged.

A large strike force equipped with equipment from the Big Empty travels to the Ha'taks using the Big Emplty's Transport Rings while equipped with new tech and
