Hello and welcome to this little one shot! I was listening to Benefit of Mr. Kite by The Beatles when this popped up. And since Halloween is soon, (to me anyways) why not have a little cute one shot of our favorite circus imps. I do not own anything at all. It all belongs to Vivzepop! Enjoy!
Halloween Circus Fun
"Wow, look Fizz!" a young Blitz said as they walked around the fair grounds in the human world. The Imp Family Circus was in the human world for one night only and it was a sold out show. "Look at this Blitzo!" Fizzarolli said to Blitz, holding up a carved pumpkin. It was Halloween night, the one night out of the whole year when the veil between the human world and the spirit world was thinnest. Blitzo's dad had taken advantage of it and saw how excited the humans were to see something like them on Halloween night. And because of it and the money that they made, it was added to the traveling rotation.
"Come on! Mama said that we finished rehearsal early enough, she would take us trick or treating!" Blitz said, running to the big top. When the two reached it, they walked in to see Blitz's dad standing in the middle of the big ring, directing the other imps on what acts to use. "Remember dear, we're in the human world, so we need to have the nets for the trapeze artists." Blitz's mom said. "Alright, alright. Get the net out and ready!" he yelled. "Boys, there you are! Get your balance balls out! We're putting your balancing act in." Blitz's dad said. "Ok papa!" Blitz said as they ran to get their balls out and practice. Blitz jumped up onto the ball first and did some tricks before Fizz jumped on top his shoulders and juggled.
After that was over, the boys watched as Blitz's twin sister Barbie rode out on her horse and did some tricks on it before having the horse do tricks. They all practiced as this was their biggest show of the year. "Alright, that's enough. Remember the show starts at eight sharp, so make sure you are here and ready to go on." Blitz's dad said before letting them go to have free time. "Yay! Trick or treating!" The three kids yelled as the boys put the balls away and Barbie took her horse back to the stable. Soon, they met up in the boys' dressing room, dressed in their costumes for tonight.
They didn't have to worry about trying to blend in since it was Halloween, so they just put on their performance costumes. The boys had their clown costumes on while Barbie had her fairy costume on. Soon, their mother came in with three bags and smiled at them. "Alight kids, get together for a picture, then we can go." She said, getting them to group together for a picture. They smiled as big as they could, very excited. After the picture was taken, the group left, and they walked to a nearby neighborhood. "Remember, you say trick or treat, no pulling actually tricks." Blitz's mom told them before she cast her human disguise so she could blend in with the other parents. "Mama, your human disguise is so pretty." Blitz said as the other two nodded. "Thankyou sweetie. Now, ready for some fun?" she asked.
They made it to the neighborhood and started trick or treating. The imp kids had fun getting to see all the different costumes that the human kids came up with and getting a lot of candy. They also got a lot of compliments on their costumes, which they snickered to themselves, knowing that they weren't wearing costumes. "Hey, look, what's this?" Barbie asked as they passed a haunted house. "No clue. Hey, what is this?" Blitz asked a random kid. "You don't know what that is?" the kid asked in disbelief. "We're new here, so what is it?" Fizz asked. "That's the Mitchell Family's annual haunted house. They go all out every year to make it as scary as possible." The kid explained before running off.
"Let's go see it." Blitz said, heading towards it. "Blitz, we got to start heading back to the tent soon. Remember what dad said?" Barbie said, grabbing her brother and dragging him off. "But look at all the blooood" Blitz said as Fizz laughed. They met back up with their mom and headed back to the show tent, talking about all the treats they got. "Mama, it was fun!" Blitz said, taking a candy bar out and eating it. "Honey, I need to check it first." His mom told him since they were still in ear shot of the other humans.
Once they made it back, the kids took their stash to their room and hid it so their dad wouldn't go looking for it later. They then got ready for the show. "Alright kids, ready?" Blitz's mom asked behind the curtain. "Yes mama." They replied. Barbie went off to get her horse while the boys had their balance balls and juggling stuff ready. "Blitzo, let me tell the jokes tonight." Fizz said as they watched Blitz's dad open show. "Alright, but I get to tell my jokes next year." Blitz said as he watched his sister do her tricks with her horse and the other imps. "Alright." Fizz agreed before they ran out with the other imp clowns.
They did their tricks and got plenty of laughs from the humans at Fizz's jokes. Then they went up on the tightrope and pretended to have a hard time balancing before jumping to the trapeze and swinging around on it. After that, the three kids did their group performance, which was Blitz on his balance ball, holding Barbie in one hand as she did acrobatic tricks and Fizz in the other, juggling. They gave off smiles and funny faces and had a great time performing.
After the show was over, they met back up in their room to dump out their treats. "Man, this is the best time of the year." Fizz said as he looked through the piles of candy. "Yeah, this is great." Barbie agreed, pulling out a lollipop and eating it. "Yeah, wish we could see that haunted house though." Blitz said. "Well, if we ask, I'm sure we can go see the one at LooLooLand. And I heard that your dad is planning on trying somewhere south next year. So, who knows?" Fizz said, cheering Blitz up. Blitz smiled before he threw some candy corn at Fizz. The three laughed before a candy food fight broke out.
Later that evening, Blitz's mom checked on the little circus performers to see them all asleep, still dressed up and cuddling one another. She quickly and quietly took a picture before closing the door and leaving them to dream of tick and treating and a fun circus show.
Hello and welcome to the end of the story! The kids sure had a blast trick or treating and getting all kinds of treats. And Blitz's dad was actually nice to them in letting them have the time to go be kids.
A/N: Now, those reading my other current story, The Other Morningstar, I'm still working on it. It seems that I got targeted by a troll who decided to go nuts at being banned. If you can see it, please let me know because I really don't want to delete it and reupload it. But I will if I must. It is rated R, so sorry kids, wait until you turn old enough. I will see you all either Friday with the next chapter of The Other Morningstar or earlier, depending on what happens. Until Then!
