Okay, now I think I can really get this story started. The reason why I feel like I can do that? Well, it's due to the fact that I feel like I truly found the right place for Matt and Gabby to spend their honeymoon. And now, that's precisely where they're headed. But first, I need to get going on my re-write…because after spending the last seven chapters re-writing the original first chapter of the story, it's finally time for me to spend some time re-writing the original second chapter of the story. And that all starts right now. Enjoy.
Chapter 8
October 5, 2018 – Casey Home, Chicago – It was their last time waking up together in their own bed; as for the next three weeks, they would be doing so in a hotel bed at a romantic resort in Barbados. More specifically, Sandals Royal Barbados. And just from the pictures which Gabby's seen of the resort, it seems to be quite romantic; the perfect place for her and Matt to spend some quality time with each other, as well as have a bunch of fun…not only in the ocean, but in bed with each other. Fun like they were currently in the midst of having, as Matt took things nice and slow with her shortly after waking up this morning. After all, they were trying to have a baby; so, that meant that they needed to try as often as they could. And since they were already naked from having made love the night before, they both agreed that they may as well take things nice and slow with each other before they go on their honeymoon.
In fact, Gabby didn't even need convincing to do it; she was on board with the idea, due to the fact that she's missed her husband so much over the summer, and she wanted him to take things slow with her whenever they had a chance to do so. After all, the more times they make love to each other, the sooner they can have a family. Plus, her husband is such a hunk and incredible in bed, that Gabby would be a fool to not take any chance she had to take him in bed if he offered to make love to her. And now, that was precisely what they were in the midst of doing as they took things nice and slow with each other. And damn, was this nice. Just the way Matt was running his hands all over her body was perfection, and exactly what she wanted him to do at this very moment. "God, you have no idea how much I love the feeling of your hands on my body." Matt nodded, as he knew that was the case right now.
He knew that Gabby loved the feeling of his hands on her body, as he could hear her quiet moans against her lips. "Believe me, I can hear you moaning against my lips, so I'm well aware of the fact that you're very pleased by how I'm treating you at the moment." Gabby nodded, as she was extremely pleased. "It's also my way of thanking you for booking such a nice honeymoon for us. You didn't have to do it, but you did." Matt shook his head, as he didn't feel that way. "No, it was what I needed to do. I know that we already spoke about this at length, but I still feel the need to make it up to you for what I did in May." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, only to bend down and kiss his muscular chest softly. And damn, did Matt love that feeling; especially as she moved to kiss his neck, which was another place that really turned him on. "Oh, now this is a nice feeling." Smirking, Gabby agreed with her husband.
After all, this was what she wanted in life. "This is what I want in life, for us to just take it easy with each other on a regular basis. For us to make love to each other as we take it easy. We need to do this more often, as it'll remind us that we love each other." Matt shook his head, as he didn't need to make love to her to remember that he loves her. "Believe me, I don't need to make love to you in order to remember just how much I love you. That's the last thing I need to do, as I'm reminded each and every time I look at you that you're the love of my life." Gabby agreed with Matt as he told her that, only to lay down on his chest this morning and cuddle up to him; meanwhile, Matt wrapped his arms around Gabby and smiled as he turned his head to press his lips to her forehead. "You tired from last night? I told you that we probably stayed up too late before our trip today." Gabby snickered, as she was a bit tired.
Though, they were just travelling today. "We're just travelling today, so we should be okay." Matt agreed with his wife as she said that, well aware that was the truth. "I made sure to buy us an internet package on the plan, so that we can use our iPads." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, glad that was the case. "Good, because I want to do something on the flight." Matt nodded, as he knew precisely what that was: she wanted to look for homes. "Babe, we have no rush. We have time. Also, not sure if I want to move in the middle of winter." Gabby agreed, as that made sense. "Yeah, I get that. God, I didn't even think about that. If we moved after we came back, we'd do it in the middle of winter." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, only to press his lips to her forehead once more. "I love you." Gabby agreed, as she loves her husband too. "I love you too, and I love that we're going to Barbados with each other."
Matt agreed, as he felt the same way. "Sorry I couldn't book the hotel for longer; it didn't seem to want to let me do that." Gabby agreed with her husband, well aware that was the case. "I know, I was there babe. I watched you try and book a longer stay, but that's ok as we can come back here and stuff." Matt snickered. "All of our friends texted me and said that they were surprised that we moved the honeymoon, they heard from Antonio at the bar I think." Gabby agreed, though she didn't care. "As long as nobody knows where it is, that's all that matters. At the end of the day, I just want to spend some alone time with you." Matt agreed, as that was precisely what they were going to do on their honeymoon. "Well, that's what you're going to get on our honeymoon." Gabby agreed and smiled, well aware that was the case. "So, are we just going to stay in bed, or are we going to get up?"
Matt groaned, as he was so comfortable here in their bed. "But I'm so comfortable with you, naked on my chest." Gabby agreed with Matt, well aware that was the case as she turned her head and looked up into his eyes. "The sooner we get out of here, the sooner we're making love to each other in the ocean." Matt smirked, as that idea really turned him on. "Well, why didn't you say that? That sounds way better than making love here." Gabby was surprised. "Really? Making love to me in the ocean sounds more appealing than making love to me in our bed?" Matt smiled. "I can always make love to you in our bed. I've never made love to you in the ocean, or even been in the ocean." Gabby was surprised when she heard Matt say that. "No way." Matt shook his head. "Never seen the ocean in my life, so this'll be a first for me." Gabby agreed with her husband, still surprised that was the case.
Still, she was glad that she was going to be there to experience it with him. "Well, I'm glad that I'll be there to experience it with you. But, we do need to get up." Matt agreed with his gorgeous wife as she said that, well aware that was the case as he leaned in and kissed her softly. "How about you go start the shower for us? I'll be right in." Gabby agreed as she kissed Matt one last time prior to getting up out of bed; grabbing her towel as she did so, she decided to wrap it around her body. Meanwhile, Matt reached over their bed after she turned around, only to smack her butt with the back of her hand; making her jump in the process, Gabby turned around to look at Matt. "MATTHEW!" She yelled out, surprised over what he just did. "Oh, c'mon. You know that turned you on." Gabby agreed, as it most certainly did. "Yes, yes it did. Now, I'm going to start the shower. Come join me." Matt agreed, ready to do just that.
Walking into the washroom after making his way there, Matt smirked as he looked at the woman he loves as she was currently naked in the shower; in the process, he remembered how this was precisely how he found her a couple weeks ago: naked in the shower, having just gotten home from Puerto Rico. And boy, was that a nice sight. Yet, it was also a sad day for them due to the fact that he learned that they had a miscarriage that day; then, he learned just how truly broken his wife was over the miscarriage. But, as time passed since she got home, she's been feeling better. She's come to terms with what happened, and they've grown a bit as a couple as they made sure to talk and make their marriage stronger. And that was something they planned on doing some more of when they were in Barbados, just not at the moment; right now, Matt was just going to take a nice shower with his gorgeous wife.
And to do so, he had to take off his towel; so, that was precisely what he did as he stood just outside the shower and admired his gorgeous, sexy, naked wife. God, she is so damn sexy and such a turn on. She's most certainly someone that he wants to take in his arms. And that's precisely what he's about to do this morning. He's going to take his gorgeous wife in his arms and make love to her once more, in the shower this time. Sure, they can easily make love to one another in bed, but there's just something about them making love to each other in the shower which is so much more appealing. He just hoped that Gabby knew that he had plans to make sweet love to her as he stepped into the shower behind her. "I hope you know that I have plans with you in the shower, my love." Turning around in Matt's arms when he called her 'my love', Gabby nodded as she knew he had plans with her in the shower.
He wanted to take things nice and slow with her, as did she. After all, there's nothing like the feeling of the love of her life making sweet love to her in the shower; something she made sure to tell Matt as she stepped close to him and wrapped her arms around his neck, while also bringing their bodies against one another's in the process. "Believe me, that's precisely what I want you to do, anyways. I want you to take things nice and slow with me, as we make love to one another in the shower." Matt agreed with Gabby as she told him that, smirking as he proceeded to place his hands on her hips; after which, he picked her up in his arms and smirked as he wrapped her legs around his waist. "And I have a feeling that you want me to do this, as well." Nodding, Gabby agreed as she did want him to do this with her. She wants him to make sweet love to her, here in their shower. "Get to work, Mr. Casey."
Smirking as he carried Gabby over to the wall of the shower, Matt soon pressed her back against it; moving his hands to her legs in the process, he smiled as he leaned in and kissed the woman of his dreams. Meanwhile, Gabby wrapped her arms around his neck and smirked as she took things nice and slow with her. "God, I'm a lucky woman. I get to have my husband twice this morning." Matt agreed, well aware that was the case. "Oh, I'm sure that you're going to end up having me again later in Barbados." Gabby nodded, loving the idea of them having each other again in Barbados. "I love the sound of that. Us, in Barbados, making sweet love to each other as we try for a baby." Matt sighed. "Gabby, can we take a breath when it comes to that? Let's just see what happens. Last time, we concentrated on the goal, rather than just enjoying each other. Let's just see what happens." Gabby agreed.
After all, that was the truth. Sure, they had fun trying for a baby; though, that was the only reason they had sex most of the time. "I know, that was mostly the reason why we had sex so much before I left: so that we could try and have a baby." Matt agreed with his wife, as that was the truth. And now that they were back together, he didn't want that. He wants to take her in his arms and make love to her because he loves her, not due to the fact that they want to try and have a baby. "Let's just concentrate on each other and enjoying this, because I love giving you pleasure like this." Gabby agreed with Matt as she ran her fingers through his hair, while he decided to grab some soap to start washing his gorgeous wife. "God, I love the feeling of your body under my hands." Gabby agreed, as she felt the same way. The way his hands moved around her body was perfection, as she wanted to feel it all the time.
And ever since she came back from Puerto Rico, his hands all over her body has been everything she's gotten. "I think you're even a bit obsessed with the feeling of your hands on my body." Matt nodded, as that most certainly was the truth: he was obsessed with the feeling of his hands on her body, due to the fact that she's a very sexy woman; a very sexy woman, who just so happens to be his wife. "You're a very sexy woman, who I just so happen to be married to. That makes me feel like a very lucky man, and I want to take advantage of the sexy time I get to have with you." Gabby agreed with Matt as she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him once more. Meanwhile, Matt moved his hands up Gabby's back and brought her body against his some more; only to bed down and kiss her neck and sucking on it as a way to please her, which he most certainly did. After all, he just made her moan. "MATT!"
Smirking at the sound of Gabby moaning for him, Matt knew that this is what they were meant to be doing right now. They were meant to be enjoying each other in the shower, as he gave his wife the attention she craves from him. "God, you are so damn sexy, Matt." Matt agreed, as he felt the same way about his gorgeous wife. "As are you, Gabby. You're so damn sexy, and I love the feeling of your naked body against mine." Gabby smirked as Matt told her that. "Which do you prefer? Me naked in your arms in the shower, or in bed?" Matt smirked as he stared into Gabby's eyes. "I prefer it in bed, as it means that we have more space to take it easy. Plus, we normally have sex when we're naked in the shower, and there are times where I just want to admire your naked body and not make love to you." Gabby agreed with Matt. "Do you want to do that here in the shower?" Matt smiled, as he'd love to do that.
Setting Gabby down in front of him in the shower, Matt brought the love of his life close to his chest and wrapped her arms around his neck; only to start running his hands all over her body this morning. "You like that feeling?" Standing close to Matt as she wrapped her arms around his neck, keeping her body tight against his, Gabby nodded as she loved this feeling. "It's such a great feeling, especially when your hands are on my lower back, pulling me against your chest." Matt nodded as he did just that for Gabby, making her moan in the process as he bent down and kissed her neck softly. Moving one of his hands to the other side of her neck in the process, Matt made sure to give her exactly what she wanted right now…and that would be him pleasing her in the shower, just like he was right now. "God, so damn sexy." Gabby said, referring to the way he was pleasing her in the shower at this very moment.
The way he was pleasing her was exactly what she wanted, especially as Matt turned her head and leaned in to kiss her softly. "I love you." Gabby agreed with Matt, as she loves him too. "I love you too, and I feel so blessed to have you in my life. I feel extremely blessed to be your wife, and I hope to be your wife for the rest of your life." Moving his hands to Gabby's hips, Matt agreed as she was going to be his wife for the rest of their lives. "Believe me, that's the plan. Me and you are going to be married for the rest of our lives, without a doubt. I can see it now. You're going to die as Ms. Gabriela Casey." Gabby smiled, as she liked that name. "I like that we had a bunch of conversations before we went down, and that we agreed to just have fun down there." Matt agreed, as he felt the same way. "Though, I think we should talk if something comes up. I don't want to waste an opportunity to make things better."
Gabby agreed as she placed her hands on Matt's abs, as she felt the same way. If they had a chance to make things better between them, then they should take the chance to do it as soon as they could. "The sooner we talk about some things that we need to talk about, then the sooner we can be in a better place in our marriage; the better place we need to be, so that we can agree to start a family." Matt agreed with Gabby as she said that, while also placing his hand on the side of her face. "Are you mad that I said that? Mad that I decided that I wanted to wait to try and have a baby, when it's something that we both want more than anything?" Gabby shook her head, as she wasn't mad. Rather, she understood why he wanted that. "No, of course not baby. I know why you're doing it, and I think that it's a smart idea for us to wait until the time is right." Matt agreed and smiled as he proceeded to kiss her again.
She decided, for one reason or another, that she wanted to take a pregnancy test before they left to go to the Bahamas. Why she wanted to take a pregnancy test? She honestly had no idea. I mean, she's only been back for nine days, which means that it was far too soon for her to even know if she was pregnant. Yet, she decided that she wanted to do so in case she was pregnant before the trip. Though, maybe it was a bad idea thanks to the result she just got: negative. Why was it negative when she just had this gut feeling that it was going to be positive? And that was the question she was pondering when she heard Matt knock on the door. "Gabby, can I come in? I need to shave and pack up my razor." Panicking, Gabby grabbed the pregnancy test and made sure to hide it behind her back as she spoke to her husband. "Come in." Hearing the high pitch in her voice, Matt knew that something was up with his wife.
There was just no way that everything was okay right now as he walked into their bathroom, so he decided to talk to her right away. "Ok. What's up?" Gabby then tried to hide the fact that anything was wrong. "Oh, nothing. Everything's ok." Matt then proceeded to give his lingerie-clad wife a bit of side eye, as he knew that she was lying through her teeth. "Gabby, we both know that your voice gets higher when you lie sometimes." Gabby sighed as Matt said that, as she knew that was the truth. "Don't judge me?" Confused as Gabby said that, Matt proceeded to make his way over to the woman he loves this morning. "Hey, what's up? Talk to me?" Gabby sighed as she proceeded to show him what she just took: the pregnancy test. "Wait, do you think you're pregnant?" Gabby shook her head. "I'm not. I think it was just wishful thinking with how much sex we've had lately." Matt agreed with his wife and nodded.
After all, he knew just how much she wanted to get pregnant. So, rather than make her feel bad over the fact that she even thought she was pregnant, he instead decided to get close to the woman he loves and placed his hands on her arms. "Hey, look at me for a minute." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that, only to look up into his eyes. "Someday, we're going to get pregnant. I'm not going to stop making love to you anytime soon, so it'll happen eventually; I promise." Gabby agreed with Matt as he said that. "I just don't want to take it forever. And I know we said that we'd wait until the new year, but…" Matt sighed. "We've already been trying for five months." Gabby sighed. "Well, on-and-off." Matt nodded, as he knew that was the case. "Gabby, this may take time. And we have all the time in the world. Please, just take it easy and let the process unfold. Hell, maybe we'll get pregnant in Barbados."
Gabby agreed with Matt when he said that. "And would you be okay with that? If we got pregnant on our honeymoon?" Smiling as he stepped close to his gorgeous wife, Matt proceeded to wrap her arms around him and smiled. "Of course, I'd love it if we got pregnant on our honeymoon. That'd be great and I just love the idea of it. But, I can also wait because I've already waited long enough. We also agreed that we still need to work on our marriage, before we have kids." Gabby agreed, well aware that was the case. "I just hope you know that I have no plans on taking any precautions. I'm not going to take the pill or anything." Matt shook his head, as he had no expectations that she would. "And I had no expectations that you would, as I know hos much you want to have a baby. So, let's just breathe and take it easy. Right now, it's honeymoon time. We can keep trying though, I promise." Gabby agreed and smiled.
He decided to keep his shirt off and only wear some shorts while he and Gabby stood in the kitchen with each other, Matt wanting to please Gabby and make her feel better after she took a pregnancy test (which was negative). And while he knew that it was much too soon for her to be pregnant, he also secretly hoped that it would be positive; after all, he's waited a long time to be a dad. So, if Gabby was pregnant right now, then that would be great. However, she wasn't pregnant…and that was fine, as it just meant that they would have even more time to try and get her pregnant. And at the end of the day, that was all that mattered. The fact that they love each other, and that they had years to try and have a baby was all that mattered. He just hoped that Gabby felt that way as she ran her hands down his body and played with his belt, only to have him stop her. "Hey, not too far. I'm making breakfast right now."
Nodding, Gabby agreed with Matt as she ran her hands up his toned chest. "That you are." She said, prior to wrapping her arms around his neck and smirking as she kissed the man she loves. Meanwhile, Matt moved his hands to her butt to admire the sexy, tight skinny jeans she was wearing; jeans which most certainly were turning him on, which is why he moved his hands to her butt to hold her close to him in the first place. "God, I love this feeling of you against my chest." Gabby agreed, as she felt the same way. "I feel the same way, especially when we're in bed. That's going to be nice." Smirking, Matt placed his hands on Gabby's hips and brought her body against his chest; only to lean in and kiss her softly, just like she wanted him to do right now. "Such a turn on." Matt agreed with his wife and smiled, as he knew that he was turning her on right now. "You love me for it, though." Gabby agreed, as she most certainly does. "That, I do. Now, how about you keep making us some breakfast? Then, we can eat." Matt agreed and smiled.
Sitting in the living room with each other, Matt and Gabby both smiled as they watched some TV while eating the egg sandwiches that Matt made for them. However, Matt was no longer shirtless as they ate breakfast, which was a shame. "You know, this shirt may get dirty while we have breakfast." Matt smirked, as he knew why that would be the case; it would be due to the fact that she decided to get him dirty. "I think we both know that's due to the fact that you may try and get me dirty." Gabby agreed with her husband, as she most certainly would do that. "Then, I can clear you later." Matt nodded as he kissed the side of her head. "We're going to have fun while we're gone, I promise." Gabby agreed with her husband as he said that, as she knew that was the truth. "I just hope that we're in a better place by the time we get back." Turning his head, Matt nodded as he knew they would be in a better place.
That was something he was certain about, due to the fact that they were going to work hard to ensure that they were in a better place when they came home. "Hey, we're going to work hard on our marriage to make sure that's the case. We both know that, babe." Gabby agreed with her husband and smiled as she turned her head to look up at him. Meanwhile, Matt leaned in and smirked as he started to take things nice and slow with each other. "Care to share what you're the most scared about?" Gabby sighed. "Maybe, that the conversations we have with each other is going to make you realize that you actually don't want to be with me, rather than that you want to be with me?" Matt was truly surprised that Gabby would even think that way, when he loves her more than anything in the entire world. "Hey, I love you Gabby. And I promise you, that'll never change. I already told you that this is forever."
Gabby agreed, as she knew that was what he said. But, how can they make sure that's always going to be the case. "And how are we going to make sure that'll always be the case?" Matt smiled as Gabby asked him that question. "By doing what we promised to do with each other. We promised to talk to each other and make things work." Gabby agreed with Matt. "I just love that me and you are going to take some time away from Chicago with each other, which I know is hard for you to do as you hate leaving the city." Matt shook his head, as it wasn't hard for him to do in this situation. "In this situation, it's the easiest thing I could ever do; after all, I'm going on a honeymoon with the love of my life." Gabby agreed with Matt and smiled, as that was the truth: they were going on a honeymoon with each other to the Bahamas. "I like the resort we chose; it looks very romantic." Matt agreed, as he felt the same way.
It was going to be nice for the two of them to get away with each other, as it's what they needed to do. "It's what we need to do, if we're being completely honest. Had we done this sooner, then maybe you wouldn't have left in the first place." Gabby agreed with her husband, as that most certainly is the truth. "All that matters at the end of the day…at least, in my opinion…is the fact that we're doing it now. We're getting away, so that we can talk to each other and take it easy. We can work things out with each other and figure out a way forward in our marriage." Matt agreed with his wife, as that was precisely what they were going to do together: figure out a way forward in their marriage. "I love that idea. And I think that it's about time that we do this so that we can ensure that we're on the same page." Gabby agreed, as that was why they were doing this. "I love you Matt, and that'll never change."
Matt agreed with his gorgeous wife as she said that, only to lean in and kiss her softly as they each took things nice and slow with each other as they enjoyed a nice breakfast ahead of their honeymoon.
