After the end of it all, Katniss finds herself unable and unwilling to do anything... until Peeta comes knocking and saves her from herself. Just a Oneshot... keep in mind its been a long time since I read the books so some things may be a little off... Rated T for non-descriptive nudity in a small part.

It's the Seventy Fourth Hunger Game and the tributes are all lined up on the chess board. However when an alliance forms between nearly all of the tributes, President Snow changes the games to ones of Survival rather than a Fight to the Death. How will the tributes handle the obstacles they will face, and what will happen when they do survive? Rated T for violence.

Gloss meets Katniss during his Victory Tour and they fall in love. Haymitch has known Katniss all of her life and has done everything possible to protect her. Some of Katniss' close friends are Victors like Finnick and Cashmere. Katniss will volunteer in the 70th HG. What will happen next? Who will be next? What will it take for the victor rebel? Who will else rebel?

Katniss is relieved that Peeta is safe after months of living in captivity and enduring torture at Snow's hands. But their happy reunion is cut short by the threat of impending civil war. Their relationship puts them in danger in ways they couldn't imagine, but can they find a way to survive against all odds? [AU; takes place immediately after Peeta's rescue; no hijacking.]
