PERSONAL MEMO
I had a nice dream last night. My boss gave me the power of God, and I used it to make everyone in the world happy. That said, I wondered in the back of my head if Xavier McEnroe was happy, or if he was too far past my influence even then. I don't know if I was able to help him, even with all that power. I wasn't able to save my boss, either, since she gave me that power at the cost of her life. Only with that sacrifice could the rest of us soar… Jeez, does that make me feel bad.
Anyways, back to why I'm writing this to begin with. I stayed after when company policy dictated that I should have because I heard some suspicious words coming from Serena, and made some discoveries that I otherwise wouldn't have. Here's the abridged version:
Serena was the imposter all along. Xavier McEnroe entered the simulation using her body as a host, seemingly doing so to save his Tyler and Elizabeth, two people of whom he had some sort of prior relations to. Regardless of that, if what Tyler said is to be believed neither of them want anything to do with him.
According to Tyler, Xavier shot him in the head. They both mentioned something about time resetting and Tyler's memory reverting, or at least Xavier having expected it to. Tyler's understandably very upset about Xavier coming to save him when he did not want saving at all, and essentially told him off.
There's someone they mentioned named PG who apparently knew our policy and took advantage of it in an attempt to let Xavier talk to Tyler when he should not have been able to. I vaguely remember my boss talking about a former employee… Could this have been who she was referring to?
Boy Natsuki and girl Natsuki met one another. When girl Natsuki's father came home, boy Natsuki stopped him from doing any harm to her by having a physical confrontation with him. Boy Natsuki ultimately won that confrontation, leaving the loser gravely injured. The confrontation felt very emotional and real… Is it possible that the imposter(s) aren't the only real people in the sim?
Both Natsukis left for a shed that strangely enough I could not look inside of. Could it be Monika's work…? She's the only one we know of who is capable of shielding things from our view. What in that shed could be so important that she would hide it from us? And what exactly are boy Natsuki's motivations for doing all of this? Could there really be a second imposter…? If Xavier only wanted to save his (former) friends, what's this person's reasoning for tagging along?
I wonder if I should tell anyone about any of this… Telling my boss first thing doesn't feel like the right move as I don't know how she will react, so maybe I'll talk to Quandary about it next chance I get. I'll take any opportunity I can get to have some alone time with her at this point, we've hardly been able to hang out! Plus, maybe she'll have some useful insight on things I'm missing here.
