Author's Note: Hey so I'm back with a pretty interesting fic. This will be my first official time writing for both Teen Titans Go and My Hero Academia. Instead of it jusy being satire or a parody I decided to switch it up and made it a little more serious. Where the Titans' incompetence have far reaching consequences they now have to live with. Teen Titans Go X My Hero Academia: Plus Ultra Chronicles
Chapter 1
The Dismissal
For the last few years the Teen Titans have tried and failed to live up to expectations and have shown themselves to be grossly incompetent in defending Jump City from evil but even more so having to save the city from themselves. Robin, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy and Cyborg, five teenage superheroes have been living carte blanche in Titans Tower and had been charged with defending Jump City. Unfortunately the team's immaturity, negligence and flagrant disregard for public safety and rampant property damage have soured the team's reputation, and their relationship with the city and superhero community as a whole. After wrecking half the city yet again while fighting a giant monster, the latest incident finally forced the League's hand as Superman descended into the destroyed city from above. The Titans as usual were celebrating their victory until they caught sight of the Man of Steel hovering over them and eclipsing them in his shadow. Beast Boy stopped dancing when the team finally noticed him and the disappointed scowl as he floated down to their level.
The Titans could tell that this wasn't a social call as the team fell silent and noticed the uncharacteristically sullen look on the Man of Steel's face.
"Ohhh boy…" Cyborg muttered from the back as Starfire and Raven pushed Robin to the front to speak for the team.
"H-Heeey Superman…" Robin quivered as he stood there in a nervous shake.
"Watchtower, now." was all he said. The team was teleported onto the base moments later.
As the Titans materialized they were met by the same angry glares from the entire Justice League roster as they appeared on the teleportation pad.
"Robin, Starfire, Beast Boy, Raven, Cyborg. I am deeply disappointed in all of you." The Man of Steel said.
"Time and again you've destroyed your own city and have caused an endless amount of havoc and mayhem with your constant barrage of quarreling, grandstanding, immaturity and gross negligence you have endangered the city you're sworn to protect more times than anyone could count. And have abused your position as superheroes and used unnecessary force on villains. Your incompetence was so glaring that your own villains took you to court and found you guilty for your own negligence. And have been nothing but a headache to the Justice League and have dragged down the superhero community as a whole." The Man of Steel said before he continued.
"Therefore we feel that we have no choice but to revoke your license as professional heroes. And have chosen to disband this team, as of this moment the Teen Titans are no more!" Superman told them.
"No…" Raven said stunned,
"You can't…" Cyborg muttered.
"But Superman I…": Robin started but was rebuffed as Superman held out his hand.
"Bro what are we going to do?" Beast Boy added.
"Please, I do not wish for us to break up!" Starfire begged.
The Last Son of Krypton sighed as he looked at the other League members but especially focused on Black Canary's sympathetic look.
"It's for the best." Flash told them.
"Please no!" Star said tears welling up in her eyes.
"Where are we gonna go?" Raven asked.
The others continued to voice their concerns with Cyborg and Beast Boy bawling and hugging each other as the team fell apart in front of them. Robin and Raven were the only ones to maintain their composure with Robin looking over his shoulder at Batman and dreading having to go back under his shoulder and under his care as he heard the Man of Steel sigh over the commotion.
"Alright…here's the thing." he said, bringing them out of the fog.
"I realize that the majority of you were never properly trained how to be superheroes. And that you didn't always have the best role models to look up to." he said looking over at Batman who huffed and folded his arms.
"And it appears to me that your team requires a vast amount of training and supervision. That said, we've done some research and learned of a superhero training academy in Japan known as UA High School. And have trained the next generation of young teenage superheroes that are composed almost entirely of Metahumans." explained Superman.
"And have been in contact with that school for some time now. If you're willing to enroll then I may reconsider your punishment. If you can turn this team around and learn to become responsible and efficient superheroes in 6 months, then I will reinstate your team and allow you to continue being licensed heroes in Jump City." Superman told them.
The Titans looked at each other knowing that this was their last, best hope at being real superheroes the team agreed to Superman's proposal and were promptly teleported to UA High School in Japan. The team arrived outside the main gates of the high school and made their way towards the entrance.
The building in question was a massive four tower skyscraper with a set of catwalks adjourning the building together on each side. As the team made their way towards the front gate they were met by the school's security system as the front gate slammed shut and was barricaded by a heavy steel door.
"Hey what are you clowns doing here?" Someone yelled.
The team turned around to see a young man with spiky blonde hair wearing a school uniform with a bookbag over his shoulder and a sullen expression.
"You don't look like students. So what the hell are you doing here? I asked you freaks a are you doing here?!"The student roared catching the team off guard.
"Whoa rude much? Better question is who are you?" Raven demanded.
The angry blonde stomped his foot as he dropped his bag by his right foot.
"Your not students and your not Japanese. You look like a bunch of rank amateurs. I wonder what kind of Quirks you losers might have." the boy growled.
"And in case your wondering. My name is Katsuke Bakugo! I'm a student here at UA, which is more than I can say about you losers." He added.
"And it doesn't look like you have any passes to be here! This is the number one hero academy in Japan! We only accept the best and we don't take in outsiders. So whatever reason you have for being here, you might as well forget it! And my hero name is Great Explosion Murder God, Dyna-Might!" the student proclaimed as dramatically and angrily as possible.
Despite his threatening demeanor the student in question had been reduced to the same Chibi style as his American counterparts which made his threats a little more comical given his appearance.
The Titans of course didn't know what to make of this exceptionally violent student. And wondered if the rest of the school was like him.
Bakugo of course was ready to murder them on the spot. His eyes flared daggers as he got into fighting stance and the Titans countered him as well.
"Titans!" Robin yelled drawing his staff as the rest of the team stood ready.
"I got this!" Raven said and summoned a portal to quell the instigator and instantly transported him somewhere else.
It seemed that was it until the portal suddenly erupted with an explosive backdraft erupted back through the portal moments later as an enraged Bakugo emerged back from whence he came and was even angrier than before.
The explosive student screamed and suddenly blasted Raven with a torrent of fire that engulfed the sorcerer and left her a blackened mess as she choked only for the rest the team to barely dodge the blast. Beast Boy then turned into a gorilla and attempted with squash him with his fists. But was instead sent flying with a massive backhand from Bakugo's grenade shaped gauntlet and blasted with the intensity in mid-air. As Beast Boy went down in the same smoking heap as Raven.
"You bastards need to do better than that! Otherwise you'll never stand a chance here at UA!"the student yelled at the top of his voice.
Cyborg and Starfire were about to engage when Robin thew his arm out halting his teammates.
"Wait! We're not getting anywhere with this guy. We need a way out." he said showing a rare moment of restraint. And demonstrating his strategic mind.
"Listen we don't want any trouble!" the Boy Wonder said.
"Little late for that." growled Bakugo.
"We were sent here by the Justice League to learn to become proper heroes." he said trying to explain.
"The Justice League huh? That's supposed to mean something to me?" the student growled unimpressed.
"Their the number one superhero team on our side of the world. We're from the United States." Robin said as Bakugo scoffed.
"Tsk, Americans huh? I might have known. So now their sending their garbage to UA? You honestly think our school is for rank amateurs like you?" he balked at the revelation.
"UA High School ain't for rejects and washouts like yourself. We areThe Number One superhero training academy in the world!"Bakugo said with pride.
"We don't cater to losers like you. So you might as well get out of here. Your not welcome here!" he told the team.
By this time the action had drawn the attention of other students as the entire school looked on. While the faculty watched from within the building as one teacher groaned.
"He sure knows how to make an impression doesn't he?" A man with long black hair, with bandages wrapped around his shoulders said.
The man in question was Shoto Aizawa the hero and instructor known as Eraser Head. Dressed in all black and had a disheveled appearance and looked chronically exhausted from having to teach young students how to use their powers. Mr. Aizawa was all to familiar with Bakugo's antics and would often have to use his quirk silencing ability to keep students in line, both in and out of class.
At this point he was so fed up with it, he opted to stay out of Bakugo's fight altogether.
"So these are the new students huh?" he said exhausted.
"Where did they even come from? They don't look Japanese." he added as a larger figure overshadowed him looking out the window.
"Their Americans. I've been in contact with the hero organization that overlooks them. They call themselves the Teen Titans. And it seems they've been causing a lot of trouble on their side of the world as well." All-Might told him.
Eraser Head sighed and hung his head.
"That's right I've heard of these idiots. They managed to destroy their own city multiple times." he said.
"And it sounds like their organization finally threw them over here. And threatened to pull their hero licence if they don't shape up." All-Might said.
"That's all we need right now." Aizawa sighed smoking a cigarette. Only for the goth teacher to retreat to his big orange sleeping bag moments later.
"We don't have room for these idiots. Let alone the space to deal with them." he moaned turning into his sleeping bag and faed a wall hoping the whole thing would go away.
All-Might smirked as he continued watching the scene outside.
"Look Young Midoriya is trying to remedy the situation by reasoning with Young Bakugo. And is trying to bring peace between them." the larger than life hero smiled his iconic grin.,
"He's definitely your student then." Aizawa said from his sleeping bag.
"Alright if he can get them to settle down. I'll see what I can do with them. But I don't like this one bit." the teacher said from his orange cocoon.
An hour later without having to blow anyone else up the team was situated and registered as students. While Raven still burnt from Bakugo's earlier attack was at the nurse station and was being treated by Recovery Girl (actually an old woman)'s healing kisses that can undo just about any serious injury. Though Raven like many before her wasn't too thrilled at the manner of treatment.
It wasn't long afterwards they were given their new student uniforms. Both in school dress uniforms of a white dress shirt, gray blazer and red tie with dark colors pants for the boys and green skirts for the girls with socks or tights. While their field training uniforms with dark blue jumpsuits with an enlarged UA logo on the chest with white stripes that run down the front of the pants. Along with their own choice of sneakers. And were put through orientation with Principle Nzu who resembled a small humanoid marsupial with a large prominent scar across his right eye and a long skinny tail.
The principal then briefed them on what was expected of them at UA and breezed through the course schedule and rules regarding student conduct on and off school grounds. The team was then assigned Class 4-D.
It wasn't long afterwards they were introduced to the rest of the student body, most notably the primary hero class. Class 1-A. And were introduced to the likes of Izuku Midoriya the amiable green haired hero known as Deku. Protege to the World's No. 1 Hero All-Might and inheritor of his quirk One For All. That allows him to use multiple powers at his disposal, that's been passed down by previous users and allows them to inherit the powers of said users. In Deku's case his primary ability is superhuman strength and ability to amplify his strength, endurance and attack prowess a hundred times over and beyond. In addition to inheriting All-Might's moveset. Deku has been able to create variations of his mentor's moves and even created his own unique attacks.
Next up was a bubbly female student named Ochaco Uraraka. The hero known as Uravity, and has Zero Gravity powers as her name implies. With her quirk Uraraka can alter gravity making herself lighter than air or drive her opponents into the ground. And co-opted with the various martial arts she has learned at the school.
The third was Tenya Ida the straight-laced class leader of 1-A. Ida was the tall, studious and at times overly serious class rep. But was also the armored speedster hero known as Ingenium. His quirk was quite different from the others in that he has jet boosters coming out of his calves that are the source of his power. And seemingly retract into his legs when not in use. Ida is also one of the few legacy heroes having inherited the Ingenium name from his older brother.
Others also included the likes of Mina Ashido a pink skinned female mutant with matching short pink hair and a pair of small yellow horns on top her head. Just as bubbly as Uraraka if not more so. Her quirk allows her to project an acid slime from her body that can dissolve most substances. Along with Tsuyu Asui who was a shy and quirky girl known as the frog themed hero Froppy. Along with the equally dorky Hanta Sero known as Tapeman, er Cellophane. And the list went on with several others before getting back to the violent and short tempered student they initially met Katsuki Bakugo.
Bakugo was of course Deku's rival in life and in heroics and wants to be the Number One Hero to succeed All-Might when he grows up. And even based his hero name partially on his mentor Great Explosion Murder God Dyna-Might. Needless to say its going to be a pretty crowded field between them and the Titans. To say that the Titans were in over their heads was a bit of an understatement. It It wasn't til then it dawned on Robin that he was the only person there without powers. As much as his teammates mocked him for being human, this situation would be infinitely worse.
"Hey your Robin right" the Green haired student asked pulling Robin out of his thoughts.
"Uh, yeah. Your Deku right?" he asked.
"Yeah I am. I noticed that you don't seem to have any powers, is that right?" Deku asked.
"Yeah..." Robin said sheepishly.
"I was initially born without powers just like reason I ask is that we have support gear for students here at UA." Midoriya told him.
"What's support gear?" the Boy Wonder inquired.
"Support Gear are supplementary tech and costumes that can help amplify our quirks in the field. Like for me I wear specialized gauntlets and boots that shield my body and regulate my quirk while also concentrating my powers to maximum effect. That way I can use my quirk at full power without destroying my body. You see I don't have full control over it yet, but my tech serves as a workaround while shielding me from the backlash of my own powers." he said showing Robin the scars on his arm and hand.
"And everyone here has their own tech that helps their quirks. And I was thinking maybe Ms. Hatusume can build something that will help you out here at UA." he added.
Author's note: Alright so what did you think of that? Put alot of time and effort into this fic. So I would appreciate to hear everyone's thoughts. This kinda went off in a different direction than I intended. And not sure whether to have everyone as chibis like TTG or what.
