The three warriors stood in the ominous courtyard of the Fire nation. "What's the matter, no lightning?!" Zuko shouted at his deranged sister.Azula's eyes widened in rage. "Oh, I'll show you lightning!" She shrieked.Azula began to generate the lightning, aiming at her brother, when she suddenly realized the watertribe peasent would be the perfect way to get to her brother.Zuko stood, ready to redirect the lightning, ending it once and for all. His eyes widened in horror as the lightning shot out from Azula's fingers, aimed straight at Katara.
Zuko stood, unable to move. All he could do is watch the woman he loved get struck by the lightning.
Zuko, what are you doing?! Katara wondered as Zuko taunted his sister. "Oh, I'll show you lightning!" she shrieked.
Katara gasped. That lightning is coming straight for me. Legs! Move! My body won't move... This is going to be my last breath. She began to observe the beautiful turtle ducks, the gorgeous Fire lillies. Time slowed down for Katara, she saw Zuko's terrified face. It all went black.
"KATARA!!!" Zuko shouted, as Katara's body crumpled to the ground. It's all my fault. she would be fine if she hadn't come with me. He dashed towards her, only to be tackled to the ground to Azula.
"Oh, Zuzu. Caring for a peseant, are we?" She mocked. Zuko stayed pinned on the ground, unable to fight Azula off of him from the shock of seeing Katara.
Azula chained Zuko to the chains on top of the grate. She stumbled over to Katara and dragged her by her hair over to Zuko.
"I thought I would slowly kill the peasant, in front of you, Zuzu." She laughed, as she prepared to burn Katara.
Zuko, having finally caught up with the world, realized Azula was burning Katara's hand.
His eyes widened as he roared fire at his sister. Azula stumbled back and hit her head on a pillar, and passed out.
Zuko quickly melted the chains that held him (they were not very good chains) and rushed to Katara.
Three sages bowed before Zuko. "Your Fire lordness, please allow our healer to attend to your spouse." The sage in front said. Zuko's cheeks flushed. "Oh! she's my friend- but yes please!" He shouted, handing Katara over to a medic.
"Do you think Katara and Zuko are okay?!" Sokka asked as they walked into the palace. "Judging by the fact that there's no soldiers shoving us out, yeah." Toph shrugged.
"Avatar Aang, and your friends, come quickly!" A servent said urgently, leading them to the infermery.
"Katara?!" Sokka shouted as he saw his sister unconscious on a hospital cot, with a chunk out of her abdomin.
"What happened?!" Sokka shouted. "Azula... S-she hit her with lightning..." Zuko mumbled.
