Yo what's up talented readers/writers, I am back with another story on Aurelia shipping, I absolutely love this pair and I feel sympathy and Pity for Lillie as a character, which is why her character grew on me, plus I think she's adorable, don't you agree?

Disclaimer: I don't own Pokémon. If I owned Pokémon, I'd make Ash's face look like Journeys but keep the old S/M animation. They made Ash's face terrible and now I'm pissed.

My inspiration comes from a story called 'Rainy' by King0711 and 'Their secret' by Lelouch Vi Britannia (Hope I spelled that right) Thank you for inspiring this story.

Chapter 1: a Sudden kiss and an awkward confrontation

The alola region, a region teaming with life and wonder, a picturesque tourist destination full of wild Pokémon, friendly people and a history made in tradition, and our young hero has just arrived on vacation with his mother Delia, little does he know this vacation will blossom into a new adventure full of new situations and lessons to be learned.

"Yahoo, Faster Sharpedo!" Ash cried as he was surfing behind a Sharpedo.

"Sharpedo" it cried as it increased its speed. Ash laughed happily feeling the wind and the waves splash on him as they zoomed through the water.

(Later)

"Thanks for the ride Sharpedo" Ash said thanking the water type.

"Sharpedo" it said with a smile.

Ash soon made it to his mother who was already looking at all the fruits being sold at all the vendors on the beach side.

"Mom! Mom!" Ash said loudly as he was running towards her.

"Goodness, someone sounds happy" Delia said with a giggle.

"Mom, we had so much fun riding on the sharpedo, you should've seen us" Ash said with excitement.

"Glad your having fun dear, you ready to head off to the Pokémon school?" Ash's mom asked sweetly.

"Yeah, let's go" Ash said.

"Pi Pikachu" Pikachu cried excitedly atop his trainer's shoulder.

(Later)

Ash was running along with Pikachu to the Pokémon school, stirring up a dust cloud along the way as they ran.

"You can't beat me buddy" Ash said as he ran.

"Pikachu pi" Pikachu cried happily as he ran alongside his trainer. Ash decided to pick up his speed and ran as fast as he could. Unaware that he stepped on a Litten that was strolling by.

"MEOW" Litten cried in pain as its tail was stepped on but also covered in sand from the duo's run to the campus.

"Oops. Sorry" Ash cried.

"Litten!" the fire type cried as it shot an ember right into Ash's face.

"Pikapi" Pikachu said as he touched his trainers face only to recoil from the hot red mark on Ash's face. After that little encounter the two ran into Ash's mom who was lounging by the pool.

Ash and Pikachu were running again and as they ran, they could make out a racetrack, hopping the fence the two saw three other Pokémon, a Poplio, a Bounsweet and a Togedemaru standing next to a blonde girl who had hearts braided into her hair, she was walking on to the track when three Tauros came running at her seemingly oblivious that she was in the way.

"WATCH OUT!" Ash yelled, thinking fast he pushed the girl out of the way.

"Huh, oof" the girl cried in shock as she was tackled to the ground, unknown to him he didn't notice the position they were both in. When Ash tackled her, he didn't watch where he landed and he landed on top of her, the two accidentally locked lips for a moment. The girl lay there in shock unable to think properly. Her mind was unable to process what was happening.

"C-can you please get off me?" the girl asked timidly with a deep red blush as she disconnected. Ash got up off the young girl with a light lip gloss mark on his face.

"Hey wise guy! You got some nerve kissing Lillie like that! Explain before I have Bounsweet do something we'll regret!" the green haired girl yelled. Ash paled in horror he knew he better explain and explain fast or else… it's probably best he explained himself he thought.

"I-it's not like that I swear. She was just in the way, and I pushed her out or else she'd get real hurt" Ash said frantically.

"Really" the girl said with a glare. Meanwhile the blonde girl who was on the grass near the track was nervous and scared that her friend would attack the boy who saved her, so she gathered herself and decided to end the engagement before things got heated.

"I-its fine, he was only trying to ensure my safety" the girl said timidly.

"Is that true?" she asked Ash with a glare.

"Y-yes, I swear" Ash said scared for his life.

"Alright, I'll believe you. My name is Mallow" she said before she turned happy again instantly. Ash was introduced to everyone individually.

And that was how Ash became a student at the Pokémon school, but that's not where our story ends, no this is where our story begins…

(one week later)

It was a new week, and everyone was eagerly waiting for today's lesson to begin, the class and Ash were in good hands now since he explained that he never meant to kiss Lillie and it just happened by accident, but now that created a new problem for him. Ash made friends with Lana, Mallow, Kiawe, Sophocles quickly but for some strange reason Lillie was still ignoring him almost like he didn't exist.

"Alola class" Professor Kukui said.

"Alola!" everyone chorused.

"Sorry I'm late everyone/Pika" Ash and Pikachu said as they walked in the room and sat at their desk.

"Where have you been?" Mallow asked.

"I got distracted by some wild Pokémon" Ash said.

"He 'Meant' he forgot to set his alarm" Kiawe joked, everyone had a good laugh out of that.

"HEY" Ash yelled.

"Ok that's enough, it's time for today's lesson" Kukui said.

"Oh yeah what's todays lesson?" Ash asked excitedly.

"Today's lesson will be on Pokémon science; we're going to study the differences between Normal Pokémon from other regions and their Alolan Variants" Kukui explained. Today's lesson went by without a hitch.

(At the end of the day)

Ash's day went by quickly and the only thing that was odd was that Lillie kept ignoring him but there was something else too, her friends Mallow and Lana would catch her glancing in Ash's direction and blush when he glanced back.

She thought back to their accidental interaction and blushed brightly. What was going on with her? she thought to herself. She didn't know what to think at that moment. No one ever kissed her before, aside for her two parents of course but that kiss from the Pikachu trainer, who's name was Ash was just that… an accident. It was on purpose and Ash didn't mean to do it, it just kind of happened.

She felt horrible for ignoring him like she was, but she couldn't confront him on this as it was embarrassing to admit, plus he was kind of cute, add the fact she never took an interest in boys before, so she didn't know how to handle the situation at that moment.

(Later)

"Man, that hit the spot" Ash said as he finished his meal at the Professors house.

"I'm glad you liked it" the professor thanked. He took the dirty dishes and began cleaning them while Ash decided to sit on the couch.

"Ruff Ruff" Rockruff barked as he wagged his tail excitedly.

"Come here buddy" Ash said, the rock type puppy Pokémon jumped into the Kanto trainers' arms and snuggled into him, licking his face making him laugh.

"Hahahahahahahaha stop it Rockruff that tickles" Ash said in vain as he laughed loudly.

"Hahaha sounds like Rockruff really likes you Ash" Kukui said.

"You really like me, huh Rockruff?" Ash asked as he picked up the small dog Pokémon.

"Ruff" he barked happily as he nuzzled his spikes into Ash's neck.

"Rockruff stop that, you're hurting me" Ash said, but he wasn't showing his pain, being shot with flamethrowers from Charizard and shocked by Pikachu made the Kanto trainer resilient so this wasn't anything new.

(With Lillie at the family estate)

"Lillie, your dinner is ready" Hobbs called. Lillie went downstairs to greet the family's trusted butler Hobbs, who was at the table.

"Hobbs can I ask you something? Something personal?" Lillie asked nervously.

"Anything" Hobbs said encouragingly, prodding the young book worm to open up and tell him what the problem was. Lillie didn't know how to answer but her body betrayed her at that point because she started blushing. Hobbs saw this and smirked slyly at her.

"H-have you ever liked someone?" Lillie asked shyly. Her blush deepening in color.

"Ah, a little nervous, are we?" Hobbs asked with that sly smirk still on his face.

"Yes, after we first met, I started ignoring him out of embarrassment" Lillie said honestly.

"How so?" Hobbs asked.

"When we first met, I was standing in the middle of the racetrack at school, my friends who were riding on Tauros were about to run me over and he pushed me out of the way" Lillie said,

"Miss Lillie that's nothing to-" Hobbs began but Lillie cut him off.

"We landed on top of each other, and we accidentally kissed!" Lillie blurted out, she tried to hide her face with her braided hair.

"I see, that is quite the predicament there" Hobbs said. Then he continued.

"You need to apologize to him" Hobbs said finishing his thought aloud.

"How can I do that?" Lillie asked.

"Miss Lillie let me ask you something. Do you really think he would be mad at you after you two 'accidentally' kissed? Even after he offered to help you get over your phobia?" Hobbs asked.

"I… I guess I never really thought of it like that" Lillie said realizing where Hobbs was coming from

"You need to be bolder with him, if you're with your other classmates make him your primary focus" Hobbs explained.

"Ok, I get it now" Lillie said getting where her butler was coming from.

"And don't let your shy personality stop you from getting out of your comfort zone" Hobbs said answering her next question before she even asked.

"Right!" Lillie said confidently, a fiery determination in her eyes.

'But first I owe Ash an apology' she thought

(With Ash)

Ash was currently training out by the beach in front of Kukui's house, but for some reason he couldn't shake the kiss out of his head, and it began messing with him.

"Alright Pikachu use…. Iron tail, Litten use Ember" Ash said, the two Pokémon fired their attacks, even though the order was delayed they still obeyed it without question. After the attack landed the two Pokémon stopped and looked at their trainer worryingly.

"I think I'm going to go talk to Mallow, maybe she could explain what's happening to me" Ash said walking away but turned back around.

"Tell the professor I'm going out for a walk" Ash said, Pikachu gave a salute and ran to the house with Litten in tow.

(Later with Mallow)

Mallow was busy tending to customers at her family's restaurant, her brother and father were busy in the kitchen making the food for the various customers that booked a table, when the doorbell 'dinged' (You know those small restaurants that have the bell on top of the door? Picture that in your head)

"Alola, table for one?" Mallow asked already guessing what he wanted.

"S-sure" Ash said nervously, walking over to the reservation desk. He only meant to talk to Mallow and not to order anything, but the Alolan chef told him into it and he didn't want to say no to a friend.

"Here's your menu, I'll be with you shortly after I tend to some chores" Mallow said.

"Ok, I actually came here to talk to you, it's about Lillie" Ash explained.

"…Alright then, my shift ends in 30 minutes so feel free to order whatever" Mallow said. He took her word for it and looked at the menu.

Most of what was on it made Ash's mouth water, the seafood chowder looked excellent, the breaded shrimp with spices and a pinch of lemon and a side of cocktail sauce or tartar sauce with fries looked really tempting. The Seafood alfredo looked promising too and even the tacos were great options. If there was one thing Ash had to admit. Everything looked damn delicious, even the burger options

He looked over at the beverages section too, he made sure to stay away from alcohol due to his age but there was a non-alcoholic section for non-alcoholics or just people who didn't favor being drunk or just wanted a chill night with the boys on a weekend. There were also soda options and different lemonade and iced tea.

"Hmm what do I want?" Ash asked himself as he looked at his menu, it took a few minutes, but he made up his mind.

"I'll have the fish tacos with fries and a non-alcoholic sunrise please" Ash said, Mallow wrote that down on her note pad and smiled at him.

"Certainly sir" Mallow said with a hint of playfulness, making the raven-haired boy roll his eyes as she took the menu and went to the kitchen to fulfil Ash's order.

(Sometime later)

"So, what did you want to talk about?" Mallow asked as she brought Ash his order. Coincidentally her shift ended with Ash's order, so he didn't need to wait long.

Ash dug into his meal like it was the last meal he'd had in a century, the other patrons looking at him strangely and some in complete shock. Within ten minutes the pallet town native finished his meal.

"Man, that was the best food I've ever had" Ash said, his eyes were glossy and distant. Mallow giggled.

"So, what did you need to talk about" Mallow asked curiously.

"It's about Lillie" Ash said.

"What about her. Did you hurt her?!" Mallow asked her gaze darkened Ash hurriedly put his hands up to protect himself.

"I have been having these thoughts about Lillie that I've never had before and they're so confusing" Ash explained.

"Can you go into a bit more detail?' Mallow asked.

"a part of me is thinking Lillie is super cute, I'm wanting to be closer with her as in more than friends would be, or that I want to see her happy because I really like her" Ash explained.

"… … …"

"Mallow?" Ash asked.

"... ... ..."

"Pfft… hahahahahahaha" suddenly Mallow couldn't hold back her laughter.

"Mallow this is serious!" Ash said, slightly raising his voice.

"I'm sorry I couldn't help myself" Mallow said wiping a tear from her eyes.

"So, what should I do?" Ash asked.

"Ash, I think you're having 'romantic feelings' for Lillie" Mallow asked.

"Romantic feelings? What're those?" Ash asked densely. Mallow face palmed. Who said anything about love being easy to understand? Clearly there were a lot of people, but Ash wasn't one of those people, no sir.

"Do you know the difference between liking and loving someone?" Mallow asked.

"There's a difference" Ash asked confused. Mallow facepalmed. Oh boy.

"Have you heard about 'the Pidgey and the Beedrill'? Mallow asked. Ash nodded.

'This might be easier than I'd hoped' Mallow thought (I'm going to try to say this without making anyone cringe until the heat death of the universe, stay with me)

"See ash there's a difference between like and love is that when you like someone you want to hang out with them all the time and do regular friend stuff, but with love it's a little more personal. You want to do everything that friends do but you also want to be there for them in anyway possible, this may include cheering them up when their sad, sharing small moments together, and you may want to hug the person to show you care, or maybe go on dates with that person to show how much they mean to you and vice-versa. Or maybe you'd share a kiss to show appreciation or affection" Mallow explained.

"That's a lot to take in" Ash said honestly, his head was still spinning but he felt like less pressure was on his shoulders.

"Thank you, Mallow you're a great friend" Ash said honestly.

"No problem, Ash, that's what friends are for" Mallow said walking up to give Ash a friendly hug which he returned.

"What about the bill?" Ash asked, noting that he still hadn't paid for his food for the entire duration of their long talk together.

"It's on the house, have a good rest of your day sir" Mallow said playfully, but the sentiment was still there. Ash rolled his eyes and began his walk home; he could make out that it was already turning dark. How long was i at Mallows restaurant? Ash thought to himself

(Kukui's house)

"Professor I'm home!" Ash yelled as he walked in the door.

"Ah Ash welcome back, we were getting worried you used extreme speed and got lost on your walk" Professor Kukui joked as he looked up from his newspaper.

"So how was your walk? Bzzt" Rotom-dex asked as he flew over to Ash.

"I had a lot on my mind that was confusing to me, so I decided to visit Mallow" Ash explained.

"Oh? What were you thinking about?" Kukui asked.

"Just some school stuff I was having trouble on" Ash said as he came up with a quick lie.

"Okay" Professor said accepting that answer as Ash sighed in relief. He didn't want to tell the professor about his thoughts about Lillie. He'll never live it down.

Night time approached the young student/Pokémon master, and he got into bed for the night and fell asleep with in seconds. Later that night he began to dream, unknown to him however Lillie was having the exact same dream.

(Ash/Lillie's dream)

"Ash how much further" Dream Lillie said as she and dream Ash climbed a small hill. He held Dream Lillie's hand so she wouldn't stumble since her vision was covered by a blindfold, while also holding on to a heavy Picnic basket with the other.

"Not too much further" Dream Ash said. They climbed a bit further up the hill until they reached a small cliff and below them was a meadow of yellow flowers.

"Ok you can take off you blind fold now" Dream Ash said, Dream Lillie did so and was shocked by what she was looking at.

"How- how did you find this place?" she asked in shock; She and Dream Ash sat on the cliffs edge and enjoyed the view.

"I like to take long walks to clear my head, I found this place when I walked further than I intended, I'm glad I didn't get lost along the way" Ash said with a chuckle. Dream Lillie giggled at his joke. Dream Ash was never great at directions.

"It's beautiful" Dream Lillie said as her emerald eyes sparkled in the sunlight.

'I brought this spot was perfect for a picnic" Dream Ash said.

"It's perfect Ash" Dream Lillie said happily. The two set down the picnic blanket and set the basket in the center of the blanket before settling down and opening the basket. In it were Sandwiches, Pasta salad, potato salad, assorted fruits and other stuff too.

The two happily enjoyed their picnic and before long everything was eaten and put away, now the couple were sitting on the edge of the cliff and watched the stars that were shining in the sky above. The two felt a draft so Dream Lillie pulled out a blanket and draped it over the two.

"Hey Lillie, I have something to say" Dream Ash said.

"Go ahead Ash, I'm all ears" Dream Lillie said encouragingly. Dream Ash got lost staring into his girlfriends' beautiful emerald eyes, quickly collecting himself he began to speak.

"I just wanted to say I'm sorry for how we first met, it was a total accident, and it won't happen again. You can slap me-" Dream Ash said but was cut off by a finger shushing him.

"Shhhh you don't need to feel ashamed; I am sorry too for ignoring you like I was. I just didn't know what to think" Dream Lillie explained.

"Thank you for this wonderful night together, and I'm very happy to have spent it with you Ash" Dream Lillie said. Dream Ash wrapped his arm around his girlfriend who nuzzled deeper into his shoulder.

"I love you Ash" Dream Lillie said.

"I love you too Lillie" Dream Ash said.

The couple drew in closer to one another.

Until…

*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*

(The next morning)

"ASH WAKE UP OR YOU'RE GOING TO BE LATE FOR SCHOOL BZZT" Rotom yelled. Ash woke up within seconds.

"OH, SHOOT IM LATE" Ash said in a frantic panic (XD) He quickly got dressed and ran quickly out the door, not even stopping to register Rockruff holding his favorite ball in his mouth.

"SORRY ROCKRUFF WE CAN PLAY LATER" Ash yelled. Rockruff dropped the ball, his ears drooped as he whimpered sadly. Picking up his favorite ball he went to go rest inside the house.

(With the others at school)

"Alola class" Kukui said happily.

"ALOLA" everyone said in unison.

"Today we're going to principal Oaks special class" Kukui explained.

"His special class?" Everyone chorused.

(The principals office)

"Whoa look at those eggs" Sophocles said. Looking at the eggs on the table.

"The egg you brought me is from the Kanto region" Samson explained, "And this one was recently discovered on Mount Lanakila"

"You are to choose an egg and write a report on it, simple right" Kukui explained.

"How do we choose which one" Ash asked aloud.

"I think Lillie should choose" Mallow said.

"Me?" Lillie asked, shocked.

"I think the best way to get closer to Pokémon is to take it step by step" Mallow explained.

"So Lillie which one would you choose?" Mallow asked, turning to her friend.

"uhh I think I'd choose that one" Lillie said pointing to the white egg with spots on it.

"Why?" Sophocles asked.

"Because the spots look like flowers, it's so cute" Lillie explained.

"You call that a reason?" Sophocles asked.

"What's it matter" Ash said.

"Guess it doesn't" Sophocles said.

"Then it's decided" Mallow said.

"But what about nighttime?" Lana asked.

"Someone will need to take it home with them" Kiawe explained.

"That's where I come in" Ash said excitedly.

(Time skip, after school)

Ash and Lillie were being escorted to Lillie's estate by the family's chauffeur, she decided that this was the perfect time to apologise.

"Hey Ash?" Lillie asked.

"Yeah" Ash said.

"I just wanted to apologize for ignoring you since we met" Lillie said.

"You… ignored me?" Ash said confused.

"Mmhmm, I just felt so awkward about that sudden kiss that I didn't know what to think" Lillie explained.

"I'm sorry too, I guess I didn't think that we would fall on top of each other" Ash said with a chuckle, scratching his cheek with a mild blush.

Lillie giggled as the two arrived at the families' mansion.

Alright everyone that's a wrap, I'm sorry the ending felt rushed, I accidently deleted the document this story was written on so I had to recover it from my document history, as you can probably tell it set me back quite a ways so I had to rewrite what I lost.

It wont happen again, I promise. I have Chapter two already done so I'll post two chapters today, expect Ash and Lillie to grow closer and closer as the story progresses. I'm just getting started.
