A/N: Let's just ignore the fact that I started a new fanfic like I didn't have enough incomplete fanfics to work on, ok? I promise I'm working on my other KOTLC fanfic. I'm just lacking motivation right now and have writer's block lol. I'm also trying to reread the whole KOTLC series in preparation of book 9.5 as well

Also, side note but I'm actually so happy right now though because I converted my friend to becoming a Tiana shipper lol. Even though she's never read the books.

By the way, if it isn't clear, I am open to requests on prompts and ships, or even one-shots of the Keeper squad doing whatever. Doesn't even have to be shipping one-shots lol. Though I might reject some shipping pairs just because it's hard for me to write pairings for couples that I don't know the dynamic of or don't support that much.

Chapter 1: Tiana- Yule Ball

(Sophie's POV)

Biana Vacker was sulking in the Gryffindor common room, which was a very rare occurrence in itself, therefore causing concern for both her brother, Fitz and her best friend, Sophie. The two exchanged worried glances as they both headed over to the couch Biana was sitting on and sat down next to her.

"Hey Bi, you ok?"

The brunette girl turned to face her brother at the sound of his voice, the corner of her lips turning down into a frown, "No."

Sophie frowned too, her concern growing as Biana openly admitted to not feeling okay. "What's the problem?"

Biana sighed dramatically, her tone filled with annoyance, "The problem is that I don't have a date to the Yule ball yet."

Sophie's eyebrows furrowed. "You don't?" she asked, confused.

Biana was in almost every way, perfect, sometimes to the point where it confounded Sophie. She was pretty, skilled in magic, smart, rich, and on top of all that, extremely popular as well. So, to no one's surprise, she was asked out by boys quite frequently, almost on a weekly basis. So it came as a shock to Sophie that her best friend did not already have a date to the ball, considering it was to take place in less than a week.

Fitz's eyebrows furrowed as well. "Bi…what are you talking about? I literally saw a guy from my Transfiguration class ask you out the other week."

Biana grimaced, her arms crossing. "He just wanted to go with me because you're our champion." She groaned, sinking deeper into the couch. "I feel like everyone who asked me to the ball so far only asked me because they either wanted to get closer to you or because they wanted to become more popular. I feel like no one asked because they genuinely wanted to go with me."

"I'm sure there's someone who wants to go to the ball with you, not because of Fitz or because of your popularity but because of how awesome of a person you are" Sophie reassured, her tone soothing.

Biana scowled in annoyance. "That's easy for you to say. Keefe asked you to the ball the other week in the most romantic way possible."

Sophie blushed hard. "T-that's just because Keefe can be a little extreme at times."

Biana rolled her eyes. "Sure, Sophie. Whatever lets you sleep at night better. Though anyone can tell he's head over heels in love with you."

"I-"

"Can we please talk about something else?" Fitz inserted awkwardly. "I don't really want to hear about how Keefe asked you out."

There was an awkward silence as everyone fell quiet. Her and Fitz had broken up in the middle of her fourth year after they realized their relationship wasn't working out. They had remained good friends, and Fitz was good-natured about Keefe having feelings for her and asking her out, but it was still awkward for him to hear the specifics of his best friend asking out his ex.

"...so then" Sophie said hesitantly, breaking the awkward silence. "Why don't we uh go back to talking about you, Biana? Is there anyone you specifically wanted to ask you to the dance or something?"

Biana blushed red as she fidgeted nervously. "Yes? No?" She then groaned, grabbing the nearest pillow and burying her face in it. "UGH. You know what? I don't even know anymore."

Fitz snickered as he stage-whispered to Sophie. "She doesn't really want anyone to know but she's a big fan of silver bangs."

Sophie gasped, a little shocked by the revelation. "You like Tam?!"

Biana flushed, a scowl simultaneously forming on her face as she threw her pillow at Fitz. "I knew I shouldn't have told you!"

Fitz caught the pillow right before it made contact with his face and set it down on the couch before jabbing Biana's forehead with his finger. "It doesn't matter. You're so obvious that I would have known anyways."

Biana's eyes flashed murderously as she glared at her brother, "I would say something mean to you, but since I'm such a nice and amazing sister, I'll refrain from doing so."

Fitz rolled his eyes, "Ok, Bi."

"Hold up guys. Can we go back to the part about Biana wanting Tam to ask her to the Yule ball?" Sophie interrupted, raising an eyebrow. "I didn't know you liked him, Biana."

Biana sighed, "I just- ugh. I just feel like he's the only guy in our friend group that didn't like fall in love with you at first sight, and I guess I kind of liked that? I also just really liked the fact that he paid attention to and cared for me and- ugh I know I sound selfish and attention-seeking-"

Sophie interrupted, frowning. "Ok, hold up. First of all, you are not selfish and attention-seeking. There's nothing wrong with wanting someone to care for and pay attention to you. And second of all, I never really apologized for this, but I know you liked Keefe before, and I'm honestly so sorry about getting in the way of that. I never really realized how much that might have impacted you, and I just feel bad about that now."

Biana gave the blonde-haired girl a genuine smile, "Thanks, that means a lot honestly. And you don't have to worry about apologizing about Keefe. I'm way over him. He was always meant for you anyways. I could see that he was in love with you, and I wasn't going to ruin that."

Sophie flushed red, but smiled gratefully, "I just want you to understand that you're an amazing person, Biana. And honestly? Now that I think about it, I'm 95% sure Tam likes you back."

Biana flopped on the couch, "You sure?"

Fitz raised an eyebrow, "You didn't catch him staring at you after he basically said he wasn't interested in Sophie the first time we met him and Linh?"

Biana gasped, "When Keefe told him the Foster Fan Club wasn't open to any new members?"

"Yep."

The brunette-haired girl grinned, "Do you think I should ask him to the Yule ball?"

"Maybe. Tam doesn't really strike me as the type to confess first."

(Tam's POV)

Later that day, in the courtyard...

"Tammmm. Do you have a date to the Yule ball?"

The silver-banged boy groaned as his sister asked the same question for the fifth day in a row. "No Linh. Like I've been saying for the past four days, I don't have a date."

Linh sighed in disappointment, "It wouldn't hurt for you to get a date. It's not like there's no one asking you to the ball either. You just keep turning all of them down."

"That's because I don't even know any of them!" Tam argued back, scowling.

Linh rolled her eyes, "That's the point of going to the ball with someone, Tam. To get to know them better and then, see if you would like to date them."

Tam scoffed, "Do you even have a date?"

The silver-blue eyed girl grinned, "I actually do. I'm going with Fitz."

Tam shot his sister an incredulous look, "You're going with Fitz?!"

"Well yeah. We wanted to get to know each other better-"

"Yeah no. You saw how his relationship with Sophie turned out."

"They were able to break it off as friends, so I don't see what the problem is!"

"I- ugh. I won't stop you because you would get mad at me but if he steps one toe out of line, he's dead." With that said, Tam groaned, exasperated, as he leaned back on a nearby tree.

"Ooo why's Bangs Boy so mad?"

Tam closed his eyes, resisting the urge to let out another groan. He was already officially ready for this day to be over. "Why are you even here, Keefe?"

"To check on my housemate, of course" Keefe grinned, walking over to Linh.

Tam shot him a glare, "Then why are you bothering me?"

Keefe shrugged, smirking. "Because it's fun to."

"I should have just stayed in my room today" Tam muttered, tugging his bangs down lower to cover his face as a sign of distress and annoyance.

Linh whispered to Keefe, snickering at her brother's expense. "Ignore him. He's just grumpy because I asked him if he had a date to the Yule ball."

Keefe grinned, his eyes lighting up at the new information. "He hasn't asked Biana yet?"

Linh sighed, "No. I think he's in denial. Even if he's so obvious about it."

Tam scowled, "You know I can hear both of you, right?"

Keefe smirked, clearly unbothered. "It's not like what we're saying isn't true, Bangs Boy. I think everyone in our friend group knows that-"

Another voice interrupted Keefe before he could finish his statement. "Knows what?"

"Marella!" Linh exclaimed happily, clearly excited to see her best friend again.

"Hi Linh" Marella grinned back, walking over to the silver-blue eyed girl.

"As if there wasn't a big enough audience here already" Tam grumbled sarcastically, pulling on his bangs yet again.

"Hey, I'm here too!" A voice shouted out.

Tam turned around to see Dex heading in their direction. "I was with Marella, but she left me to go find Linh, so I ended up coming along too" he explained as he made his way over to Marella's side.

Tam groaned in disbelief, "Do the rest of you have nothing better to do with your life than to bother me and Linh?"

A simultaneous "nope" came from everyone else as an answer, resulting in Tam grumbling something about "wanting peace and silence" underneath his breath.

"Aww it's ok Bangs Boy" Keefe cooed, snickering at the disgusted expression Tam gave him in response. He continued on, unbothered by the less than enthusiastic response. "I'm sure if you asked Biana to the Yule Ball, she would say yes. Foster told me that she still hasn't got a date yet." He wiggled his eyebrows suggestively, "Maybe she's waiting for you to ask her."

Tam flushed red, tugging his bangs down in an attempt to cover the blush on his face. "I don't think she likes me like that. And even if she does, she deserves someone better than me. Someone who has more noble blood, or has a better personality or is better-looking-"

"Um. Have you seen you?" Marella interrupted, raising an eyebrow. "I'm pretty sure 40% of the girls in our grade want to go to the ball with you. Didn't you get asked out by some of them these past few days?"

Tam opened his mouth to respond, but Linh beat him to it, answering for him instead. "Yeah, he did get asked out by a lot of girls, but he rejected all of them!" She shot a smirk at her brother, "He probably turned them all down for Biana."

Tam scowled, his cheeks flushing. "So maybe I did. It doesn't mean I'm going to ask her to the ball-"

"Ask who to the ball?"

Tam turned around to see Biana walking over to their group, accompanied by Fitz and Sophie, having clearly caught the last part of their conversation. He winced as he saw the hurt on her face, as she clearly thought that he was talking about a different girl than her.

"It's um-" Tam started, trying to figure out what to say in order to not hurt Biana's feelings, but not expose his either.

His eyes darted around, looking anywhere but at Biana, before his eyes landed on Dex as he watched the strawberry-blonde haired boy whisper something along the lines of "giving them space" to the rest of their friend group before dragging the rest of them away from him and Biana.

Great. Just when things couldn't get any more awkward, Tam thought miserably. He found himself tugging at his bangs again as the awkward silence continued, desperately trying to think of the right words to fix the awkward situation they found themselves in currently.

Just as he was about to give up on finding those right words and instead, give her an apology, hoping that it would magically fix everything, Biana said something quietly. "I was actually planning on asking you to the ball today. But I understand if you don't want to accept because you want to ask someone else to the ball."

Tam froze, looking up at Biana who looked away immediately, seeming like she was trying her best to refrain from crying. "I- Biana. Can you look at me?"

Biana sniffled but eventually obliged, turning her head to look back at Tam, revealing tears trickling down her face.

Tam inhaled sharply, guilt stabbing his heart for having made her cry. "Biana, what you heard earlier- that girl I was talking about? That was- that was you." He heard a gasp from the brunette-haired girl at his confession, but he continued on, needing to finish saying everything that was on his mind. "You were the girl I wanted to ask to the Yule Ball but was too scared to. Because- you deserve better than me. You deserve someone of more noble blood, a better person who can-"

"But you're the person I want to be with" Biana interrupted, walking forward to envelop him within a hug, burying her face in his chest. He could feel his shirt getting wet from the tears on her face, but he ignored it, embracing her back, albeit more reluctantly, as if scared he might hurt her if he did.

He asked her softly, "Are you sure you want to be with someone like me?"

Biana drew back, taking in the uncertain look on his face, before smiling comfortingly. "Of course I do." She then teased him gently, "Do you really think I would settle for anybody below my expectations?"

Tam smirked in response, "I guess not." He then stepped back, a grin on his face as he grabbed his wand out and casted a spell. "Accio!" Suddenly, a bouquet of flowers tied altogether by a ribbon appeared in his hand as he put his wand away. He then presented the bouquet of flowers to Biana, a smile on his face. "I thought I would ask you to the Yule Ball properly this time so let me try this again. Would you go to the Yule Ball with me, Biana Vacker?"

Biana grinned, hugging Tam again. "Of course I will!"

(Biana's POV)

The night of the Yule Ball...

Biana was trying to clip the necklace in place behind her neck, but she was struggling to get the clip in the right place, causing her to let out a sound of frustration as she missed again for what had to be sixth time at the very least.

"Do you need help, Biana?"

Biana turned around to see her blonde-haired roommate, flashing her a smile of appreciation as she turned back around to face the mirror. "Yeah. If you could help me get this necklace on, that'll be great Sophie."

Sophie obliged, moving behind Biana to clip the necklace in place. After she finished her task successfully, she asked Biana, "Are you ready to head down to the Great Hall?"

Biana smiled eagerly, "Of course I am! That necklace was the last thing I needed to put on to get ready." She then surveyed Sophie's outfit for the night and smiled brightly, "I think your dress is cute, but I have the perfect earrings to go along with it!" She then dragged Sophie over to her vanity desk, "I think this would go great with it. What do you think?"

Sophie pulled at an eyelash nervously, "I mean...I guess you would know more than me so you're probably right."

Biana grinned in response, "Fashion is my forte, so you're right about me knowing best." She then brought the earrings to Sophie's ears, "Come on. Let's get this on and then head down to the Great Hall!"

A few minutes later...

Biana grinned excitedly, practically dragging Sophie with her as they exited their dorm room, entering into the Gryffindor common room. She then quickly scanned the common room, eyes lighting up when she finally located her brother.

"Fitz! Get over here!"

The teal-eyed boy turned around at the sound of his name, grinning when he spotted them as he started heading in their direction.

"Are you guys ready to head down to the Great Hall?" he inquired as he finally reached them.

"I was born ready" Biana responded confidently with a grin.

"Yeah, I guess I'm ready too" Sophie responded too, albeit more nervously.

Fitz offered her a comforting smile, seeing her nervousness, "I know things are still a little awkward between the three of us, and you probably won't believe me about this...but if I know anything about my best friend at all, it's that you don't have anything to worry about at the Yule Ball because no matter what, he'll be left awestruck by you, Sophie Foster."

Biana agreed, "Yeah, Sophie. Keefe is heads over heels in love with you."

Sophie flushed, shooting both Fitz and Biana a grateful smile. "Thanks guys, I really appreciate it."

Biana smiled back, "Of course. That's what best friends are for." She then looped her arm through Sophie's, "Come on, we should get going!" She momentarily glanced at Fitz before leaving, and then raised her eyebrow in curiosity, "Wait. Don't you have to meet Linh now because you're, you know, the champion?"

Fitz quickly glanced at a nearby clock, his expression turning into one of anxiety. "You're right Bi- I'll see you all later." He then quickly ran down the stairs and out of their sight.

Biana shouted after him, "I don't get a thank you?" When she heard no response, she turned around and rolled her eyes at Sophie, "Unbelievable."

Sophie laughed as she grabbed Biana's hand, deciding to change the topic to something she was curious about. "You're not nervous about seeing Tam?"

Biana smiled back confidently, "He should be nervous about seeing me."

Sophie snickered, knowing Biana wasn't being serious and was just joking around. "And I'm assuming that's what how you think Keefe will feel about me?"

Biana smirked, "Duh. It's not like he's subtle about it." Sophie flushed, but before she could respond, Biana dragged her down the stairs and towards the Great Hall. "Come on. I'm sure the boys are tired of waiting for us."

When they arrived at the entrance of the Great Hall, Biana glanced around, looking for her date before finally catching sight of him next to a certain blonde-haired wizard that her friend was also searching for.

"Hey Sophie. The guys are over there" she grinned, pointing at the direction they were currently in.

Sophie glanced over, and Biana watched as Keefe's eyes lit up before turning towards them and walking over to Sophie, a wide grin on his face. Hm...Sophie must have used her telepathy.

However, her attention was quickly drawn away from the two when she spotted Tam staring at her in shock. She smirked at his expression, quickly making her way through the crowd over to him. When she finally reached him however, she saw that he had already regained his composure, instead sending her a grin back.

"You look really pretty tonight."

Biana grinned, her eyes taking notice of the fancy dress robes he had gotten for the ball, "Thanks! You look really good too."

Tam teased, "I would hope so considering I did dress up tonight for you."

Biana gave Tam a smile before hugging him, "That's sweet of you." She then withdrew back, tilting her head in curiosity, "I'm just curious but how long were you waiting before I got here?"

Tam groaned, "Don't even remind me about that. I had to be stuck with Keefe alone for fifteen minutes because Marella and Dex decided to go somewhere else by themselves."

Biana snickered, clearly finding the situation funny. "I'm sure you loved that."

Tam muttered, "I don't know what you're talking about. How Sophie likes him is beyond me."

Biana laughed at his obvious dislike for Keefe, covering her mouth in an attempt to hide it. She then looked around, her eyes lighting up as she caught sight of what she was looking for. "Look! The ball's starting. I can see Linh and my brother."

Tam scowled as he also spotted his sister dancing with the brunette-haired boy as they along with the other champions and their partners started leading the dance. He was quickly distracted by the sight though when he felt a tap on his shoulder.

Biana grinned at Tam, clearly excited that the ball was officially starting. "Do you want to dance?"

Tam smirked, "Sure but I can't promise I'll be the best at it."

Biana shrugged, unbothered.

"I'm just glad you're here with me."

A/N: Wow. I really felt like that was not my best piece of writing. Maybe I'm just not a good writer for the romance genre, but the characters and characterization felt so off to me. I'm so, so, so sorry if you all felt that way too.

I'll try to improve on my writing skills next time, and honestly, my writing might just be bad because I have like the worst case of writer's block ugh. But either way, I'll try to improve for next time because honestly, I don't know what happened to the characterization halfway through this chapter.

Anyways, until next time everyone!

P.S. Am I the only one who head canons Biana as being the person who would confess first?
