"We'll arrive at the AVL safehouse in a few hours. Mayflower is a lovely town. A lovely, safe, boring town. Trust me it is for the best Gru." Mr. Ramsbottom says.
"But what about grandma? And uncle Dru?" Agnis asks sadly.
"I'm sorry. No one can know of your whereabouts. Not even family." Mr. Ramsbottom says.
"Bingo! There's your silver lining." Gru says as he smiles.
"And you promise to take care of the other minions?" Edith asks.
"They'll be safe and sound at AVL headquarters. I have big plans for them." Mr. Ramsbottom says as he smiles.
"Good luck with that." Gru says.
"And our pets?" Alexis asks.
"Safe too." Mr. Ramsbottom says as Alexis looks at Agnis.
*Timeskip*
"Here we are. The town of Mayflower. The safehouse has been used to protect our agents for decades now." Mr. Ramsbottom says as the group arrives in town.
"Whoa." Alexis says in amazement as she and the others look at the beautiful houses.
"And here it is. Your new home." Mr. Ramsbottom says as the car stops in front of a poorly looking house.
"Aww. No fountain." Agnis says sadly.
"Such a let down compared to the rest of the houses." Alexis says.
"I'm sure it's gonna be great. Come on." Gru says as the group heads inside the building and sees it looks just as poorly inside as the outside looks.
"Wow! It's so cold and inviting. But in a homey kind of way." Lucy says as she chuckles.
"Yes everything here is of AVL standard." Mr. Ramsbottom says.
"You sure about that?" Alexis asks as she looks at Mr. Ramsbottom unimpressed.
"Positive. What it lacks in comfort it more than makes up for in functionality. There's even a fully automated lock down mode. Isn't that fun?" Mr. Ramsbottom asks.
"Ooh. Full lock down mode. Yay." Lucy says as Alexis looks at her annoyed.
"It has a vending machine! I love this place!" Agnis shouts happily as one of the minions gets stuck inside a vending machine.
"Alright now down to business. For your own safety you'll all be assuming new identities." Mr. Ramsbottom says as he holds up some papers.
"New identities? Is that really necessary?" Gru asks as he looks at the papers only for Mr. Ramsbottom to pull them away.
"It's not up for debate Gru. Now Gru you are a solar supply salesman and Lucy you are a hairstylist at an upscale salon." Mr. Ramsbottom says as he hands the group their papers.
"A hairstylist? Yes! Did you choose that because I cut my own hair and knew that I would totally rock at this?" Lucy asks excitedly as she smiles.
"No." Mr. Ramsbottom says bluntly.
"Chet Cunningham? That's got a nice ring to it." Gru says as he looks at his paper.
"Girls." Mr. Ramsbottom says as he hands Alexis the girls papers.
"Rose?" Alexis asks as she and the girls look at the paper.
"What's the probelm? You love roses." Margo says as she looks at Alexis.
"Doesn't mean I wanna be named after one." Alexis says annoyedly.
"Cool! I'm Blair." Edith says as she smiles.
"Brittany?" Agnis asks.
"My name is Bree?" Margo asks in surprise.
"Oh come on. There are worse names than Bree." Lucy says.
"Yeah. Like Blanche." Margo says as Lucy laughs.
"Yes Margo! That is a terrible name! Imagine being named Blanche... My name is Blanche isn't it?" Lucy asks as Alexis and the others laugh slightly.
"Yep." Alexis says.
"Well I'll just learn to live with it." Lucy says.
"Well why don't you girls go pick out your rooms while I have a word with your parents." Mr. Ramsbottom says as Alexis and the girls head upstairs.
