"Where's Silver?" Charmy Bee asked as he held several white cardboard boxes full of pizzas in his hands.
Espio The Chameleon, who was cleaning the green counter, sighed as he turned to Charmy. "He's currently at Samba De Amigo's Carnival Island. He'll be back in a while."
"Ooh, sounds fun!" Toadette added as she squealed, clapping her hands together.
"Stop chatting and get back to work!" Vector The Crocodile exclaimed, scaring everyone in the Pizza Hut as he slammed his office door closed, going back to making snow angels in his giant piles of green dollar bills.
Silver The Hedgehog was at Carnival Island, being on the Rocky Coaster as he held several white cardboard boxes of different pizzas, watching various racers on the track zip past him.
"Whoa!" Silver exclaimed as he had a shocked expression on his face, his eyes wider than usual as he shook his head. "These guys could literally kill anyone at the speed they're going!"
"What the hell did you expect from a race in this game?" The mysterious male announcer from SASASR exclaimed, spooking Silver out. "It's anyone's game so long as they have the speed and All Star!"
"Yeesh... Sonic never told me about this." Silver commented as he shuddered, closing his eyes as he felt nervous. "Nor did Shadow. Or Amy. Or Dr. Eggman. Or Knuckles. Or Big. Or-"
Before he could finish, Silver got knocked into the air by Opa Opa, who was in the lead as he speed through, with Zobio and Zobiko, Jacky Bryant and Akira Yuki, the ChuChus, Alex Kidd, Billy Hatcher, Ryo Hazuki, and Big The Cat all zipping after him. Silver screamed as he landed face first onto the wooden race course, groaning weakly in pain as the announcer laughed.
"Man, would I hate to be Silver The Hedgehog now! That psychic powered boy just can't catch a break!" The announcer stated as he kept on laughing.
Silver couldn't manage to stand up, which caused problems for him as the racers all ran over his body, Silver wheezing in pain as he was knocked out cold.
"...That sounded pretty bad." Shadow The Hedgehog commented as he munched on a slice of black olives and pepperoni pizza, holding it in his right hand after hearing Silver's unfortunate tale. "You must be pretty scarred from that event."
Silver, who was completely covered in bandages from head to toe, simply sighed as he blinked, unable to nod his head due to the immense pain he received. "Believe me, after that... I'm going to pay more attention."
To make things worse for Silver, Scourge The Hedgehog quickly ran over to him, pouring a bucket full of dirty toilet water on top of Silver. Scourge laughed as Shadow tried not to chuckle, with Silver simply closing his eyes and sighing in annoyance as he was unable to do anything about it.
The moral of the chapter: Don't stand in roads, kids. Especially on a race course, let alone one as crazy and zany as a wooden roller coaster.
