Transformers: Scourge of The Stunticons
Continuity: Bayverse
Year: 2008
CHAPTER TWO
The Stunticons arrived at the underground Decepticon bunker.
"That mission... was a complete SUCCESS!" Motormaster exclaimed.
"Really?" Breakdown looked up at Motormaster, his eyes expressed happiness.
"No, it was a total FAILURE! The Autobrats got away with the hostages and made us look weak!" Motormaster's tone suddenly switched. The other Stunticons stood backwards a few steps. After all, they knew how mad Motormaster could get whenever he was really upset.
Motormaster sighed.
"You know what? Maybe it wasn't entirely youses fault. I could've been better at fightin' that Autobot. But… if I can't beat that Autobolt, that means I can't even take on Optimus Prime!" Motormaster's tone shifted into a sort of panic.
"Aw, don't worry, boss! You just weren't prepared, that's all." Breakdown reassured Motormaster. He didn't do a good job, but at least he tried.
"NEXT TIME I'LL NEED A ROCKET LAUNCHEEEEEEEEEEER!" Wildrider exclaimed. It's impossible for him to speak at a normal volume.
"Hmm… not a bad idea." Drag Strip chimed in while cleaning one of his swords.
"I will drink the energon from their corpses!" Dead End snarled animalistically.
All the other Stunticons turned to look at Dead End.
"Oh, you're no fun..." He scowled and crawled away on all fours.
Meanwhile, in Kaon, Cybertron.
Starscream sat on his throne in a large hall in the Decepticon HQ.
"Sir, Payload has a message for you!" Swindle claimed as he ran over to Starscream's throne.
"What is it?" Starscream replied, bored.
"Motormaster and the Stunticons failed their mission, the Autobots got the human hostages."
"…Of course he failed."
"Lord Starscream, perhaps the Stunticons would be better suited for operations on Cybertron?" Barricade suggested to Starscream.
"Motormaster claims the Stunticons are meant to be the 'Kings Of The Road'. So far all they've done is prove themselves to be the Kings of the Scrapheap." Starscream replied, rejecting the suggestion.
However, Starscream changed his mind upon thinking about the ways Motormaster could potentially get himself killed on Cybertron.
"Actually… yes, transfer Motormaster and his team to Cybertron." Starscream ordered.
"Wow, I'm finally back on Cybertron!" Motormaster exclaimed as he walked over to the Decepticon Outpost he was stationed at.
"So, all me and my team need to do is guard this outpost? That's like takin' energon from a hatchlin'!" Motormaster arrogantly claimed.
"Well, the task is easy enough for someone of your capabilities." Skywarp, the Starscream recolour the purple and black seeker, stated.
"Well, me and my team can handle this job! Right team?" Motormaster smiled and turned to his team. All the Stunticons looked unsure.
"Hmph, what they mean to say is 'yes, we can defend this outpost easily'." Motormaster said, frustrated with his team's lack of communication.
"Yes… we can definitely… fight off any Autobots…" Breakdown nervously said. He constantly tried to cheer on Motormaster, but Breakdown knew Motormaster's wasn't that good of a leader.
A few hours later…
"This is so boring!" Motormaster yelled out as he slouched in a chair. "When are the Autobots attackin'?"
"Sir, maybe it's… better this way?" Breakdown asked, struggling to find the right words.
"What do ya mean?" Motormaster questioned.
"Listen boss, what my coworker means to say is you SUCK at fighting and Starscream had you stationed here so you don't get yourself killed." Drag Strip said calmly.
BACK TO STARSCREAM
"What is that yellow Decepticon talking about? I want Motormaster killed!" Starscream yelled at a large monitor, observing the Stunticons.
"Why?" Barricade looked up at Starscream.
"Because he's a fool who's a danger to himself and everyone around him!" Starscream yelled out in frustration. The frustration wasn't directed at Barricade, but the fact Motormaster somehow hasn't died in battle yet.
"Why don't you just give an anonymous tip to the Autoboots Cybertron Resistance members?" Barricade asked.
"Hmm… maybe I'll anonymous tip to the Autoboots Cybertron Resistance members!" Starscream stated.
"That's what I just said- "Barricade tried to say but was interrupted.
"Why didn't I think of that earlier? Barricade, tell Space Case to go tell the Autobots."
"Yes, Lord Starscream…" Barricade said with a sigh as he walked off.
BACK TO MOTORMASTER
"Hmm, what's this?" Breakdown looked up at the monitor on his desk.
"Hey, Motormaster, the computer says there's some Autobots incoming!" Breakdown shouted to Motormaster.
"When will they get here?" Motormaster asked.
"The Autobots will be here in a few Arcs (minutes). They sure are taking their sweet time." Breakdown responded.
"THAT GIVES ME ALL THE TIME I NEED TO PREPARE MY ROCKET LAUNCHEEEEEEEEER!" Wildrider proclaimed as he ran over to the armoury.
"Hmph. He's probably going to blow up the whole outpost with that." Drag Strip huffed quietly.
"I'll rip the Autobots apart!" Dead End snarled in his usual, hissing voice.
"…what a nutjob." Drag Strip shook his head and turned away while grabbing his swords.
THE AUTOBOT RESISTANCE, CYBERTRON (APPROACHING THE OUTPOST)
"I don't like it. Why would anyone send an anonymous tip?" Cliffjumper questioned.
"Take it easy, dude! Who cares if the tip is anonymous? At least we found a Decepticon Outpost." Smokescreen reassured his comrade.
"We're here." Arcee, who was in the front, spotted the outpost.
"Take a left." She ordered, and the two Autobots took a left as well.
"I can't wait to blow up some Decepti-chops." Cliffjumper mumbled to himself as he transformed.
The three Autobots stood in front of the outpost's door.
"Smokescreen, plant the explosives." Arcee turned to Smokescreen.
He ran over to the door and planted 2 bombs in the middle.
