Silver The Hedgehog was munching on a slice of pepperoni pizza that he held in his right hand as he turned to Espio The Chameleon. "Do you think there are ever days when you say that you don't want to come into work?"
"I have those moments every single day." Espio commented, reading the daily newspaper as he took a sip of his coffee, sighing as he shook his head. "I could be meditating and going on actual detective related cases right now, but instead I'm stuck here because Vector needed help."
Silver blinked as he finished up his pizza slice, patting Espio on the back in an attempt to make him feel better.
The next day, Silver whistled as he was walking to the Sonic Adventure 1's Station Square Pizza Hut when he suddenly noticed several of the pedestrians were waiting for the light to change.
"Huh. I guess the traffic light is acting up." Silver commented as he simply shrugged, using his green psychic power to hover over the traffic filled street as he continued on his way to the Pizza Hut.
Upon arriving at the Pizza Hut, Silver landed on the ground as he was suddenly snatched up in a cage, screaming as he tried to break free.
"Agh! What is this!?" Silver exclaimed as he held onto the bars, glancing to the left and right.
"Ba ha, ha ha!" Scratch laughed as he and Grounder suddenly popped out of the concrete, dancing around the cage. "We got you this time, hedgehog!"
"Uh huh, huh huh! Yeah!" Grounder added as he pointed at at Silver. "And now we're gonna have you hung at our failed Taco Bell restaurant!"
Silver winced his eyes as he folded his arms. "So you're still trying to capture me just so that you don't feel cheated at your restaurant being an absolute failure?"
Scratch and Grounder stopped dancing and laughing as they frowned, looking at each other as they sighed. Suddenly, Vector The Crocodile came out of the Pizza Hut, punching the two robots with his right fist as he then smashed the cage with his head, making it break easy.
"Wow!" Silver exclaimed as he moved his hands around, being impressed by Vector's strength. "That was pretty incredibly! How come you don't show off your power enough?"
"Because I only do it if I run out of money." Vector commented as he turned to Silver, pointing at the silver hedgehog with his right hand. "Now GET BACK TO WORK!"
Silver gulped as he ran into the Pizza Hut, with Vector nodding his head as he folded his arms together, following Silver into the Pizza Hut.
