590. Silver Overslept

Silver The Hedgehog yawned as he stretched his arms, looking around to see that he was in his bed. He blinked several times as he picked up the alarm clock, looking at it as he grabbed it with his right hand.

"Ugh... what time is it...?" Silver remarked as he squinted, gasping as he placed his left hand on his face. "What the!? It's nearly six o' clock at night!? Damn, I overslept!"

Silver rushed out of his apartment, heading straight towards the Sonic Adventure 1's Station Square Pizza Hut as he opened the doors, panting as all the customers and coworkers turned around to see him.

"Huff... puff... sorry I took so long..." Silver admitted as he stretched his arms, shaking his head. "I slept a bit too much..."

Vector The Crocodile murmured as he folded his lanky green arms together, looking at Silver as he shook his head. "Silver, of all the things I have seen you done, this is the one I'm most disappointed with."

"I know. It's just..." Silver sighed as he moved his hands around, glancing back up at Vector. "I had this really weird dream... and it involved me being cloned three times. Then we all were in this one huge mansion where there were these ghosts and we had to use squids to suck them up."

"Cloned? Haunted mansion? Using squids to suck up ghosts?" Vector remarked as he grabbed a nearby finished plain pizza and handed it to Silver. "Maybe having some pizza will make you feel better."

Silver nodded as he took a slice of the plain pizza with his left hand, munching on it as he gulped, the pizza making him feel better. "Mmm... this does make me feel better. Should I go and clean up in the back?"

"That can work out quite easily." Vector commented as he patted Silver on the back, leaving the silver colored hedgehog to clean up the back of the kitchen as Charmy Bee buzzed by.

"Why did Silver look out of it?" Charmy asked, his hands behind his back. "His eyes were so dreary..."

Vector sighed as he turned to Charmy, placing his left hand on his hip as he rolled his right hand around. "Silver just overslept, Charmy mah boi. It happens to all of us."

Vector and Charmy then headed upstairs, to see Espio The Chameleon snoozing over the green counter, his head resting on his arms.
