What's up guys and gals I am back with another chapter for you, let's not waste time with formalities, I know what you're here for so here you go, Chapter four and diary entry 2 is here. Enjoy.

Chapter 4: Dear diary 2 (Patience)

It was another sunny day in the Alola region and Lillie was in her room again writing in her diary with Snowy on her lap, the white Vulpix was curious as to what her mother was writing about in that strange object of hers and began imitating Lillie as she wrote. Lillie giggled at her curious ice type.

"It's called a diary Snowy, it's where girls keep their secrets. Or in my case my love for Ash. I think I'm getting through to him!" Lillie said excitedly. (I was cringing while explaining that, but infants don't know what a Diary is, try explaining that to a baby Pokémon and you see where I'm going)

"Vulpix Vul" (Hooray Mommy!) The vulpix cheered, Lillie giggled

"I just need to be more patient with him" She said with hope in her beautiful emerald eyes. Lillie picked up her quill and began writing.

It's another wonderful day in Alola and I had a wonderful day last night. As I can recall Ash and I were walking around Hau'oli City after I left for a walk with Snowy, I was ambushed by Team Rocket who were following me as silently as they could. They cornered Snowy and I against a wall and before I knew it, I saw Snowy get hit and was sent over the edge.

Fearing for my Pokémon's safety I jumped after her and managed to catch her in my arms, we were still falling and I closed my eyes fearing the end, but it never came. I looked to see Ash and Mallow with Rowlet, Pikachu and Rotom-dex.

I had been saved and much to my shock which later changed into a deep blush as I soon realized I was in Ash's strong caring arms, both of us were so embarrassed but Team Rocket broke that moment. As thankful as I was, I knew Ash was fuming and his anger was understandable.

I heard Ash yell about how annoyed he was seeing them, and he was even more so when he learned that they came after Snowy and I. We ordered Pikachu and Snowy to attack with 'thunderbolt' and 'Powder snow' respectively and watched as the two attacks and head toward them both sending them on their way.

I never knew you could combine attacks like that, that was another thing I had to learn more about some time.

Later Mallow had to leave to go tend to her families' restaurant which left just Me, Ash, Pikachu and Snowy, as well as Rotom-dex but Ash asked the Dex to return to the Professor's house and that he was going to spend the rest of the day with me.

I wasn't going to pass that up, not in a million years. So, I agreed without a moment of hesitation and while we were walking Snowy wanted to ride on Ash's backpack, the way she would climb Ash's leg was super adorable, she managed to latch onto his back pack when I decided to manually put Snowy on so Ash didn't have scratches all over his bag.

Later as it began to get dark out, we decided to head back to the Professors house for the night but as we finally made it there, we stopped to have a moment together, and I can't believe we were about to kiss and as we were about to kiss the porch light came on surprising us and breaking the moment. I couldn't believe it! I was so close to KISSING him. It looked like Ash was the first to move in which I was very proud to see from him.

I knew Ash was still learning of his feelings and we were going slowly but I couldn't believe how he was progressing, but not only for him but for myself, we're both maturing, and I have Hobbs to thank for giving that slight push I needed.

We were so embarrassed that Kukui had caught us as we were about to kiss and Ash asked if I could spend the night since it was too dark outside for me to walk home alone, especially with Snowy who was recently hatched and didn't have much battle experience.

We went inside the house and started getting ready for bed, I had to 'borrow' some of Ash's clothes since I didn't expect to be out so late, a fact that made me blush and no doubt Ash was too.

I got dressed in the bathroom and Ash took a shower afterwards. I have to say I've seen Ash without a shirt numerous times, like when we went fishing for an assignment but this time 'felt' different. I couldn't think of a word to describe it.

We sat on the couch to watch television, and I fell asleep, I later found out I had fallen asleep on Ash's shoulder, and he carried me up the loft and onto another couch before wrapping a blanket around me. I really wish I had been awake to see that, it would've been so romantic.

I woke up to the sun hitting my eyes and I groaned as I began to wake up, I stretched my arms as I came to my senses. I decided to wake Ash up and make breakfast for all of us. After waking Ash up I gently woke Snowy and Pikachu and told the two breakfast would be ready soon.

Over breakfast Ash told me in the morning that Hobbs called him inquiring about my whereabouts and he said he was letting me stay over for the night. I thanked him for his generosity and wondered where I would be if I hadn't met Ash, I certainly wouldn't be where I am now if it wasn't for him.

Lillie closed her diary and smiled to herself.

'Just be patient' she thought.

That's a wrap for this chapter guys, next up is 'Meeting Lusamine, an awkward new challenge'. The title has some 'Next time on Dragon ball Super' type energy and I'm kiiiinda digging it ngl.
