Silver The Hedgehog was on the rooftop of the apartment he was living in that was located in Sonic Adventure 1's Station Square, watching the dark grayish clouds in the clear, dark blue night sky, simply appreciating how quiet and calm it was in spite of the fact that Station Square was a very loud city. Blaze The Cat came up onto the rooftop, approaching Silver as she rubbed her right arm.

"Sil... Silver?" Blaze stuttered as she felt nervous, looking over Silver. "There's... something that I need to admit..."

Silver turned around, seeing Blaze as he blinked, holding his hands together. "Yeah, Blaze? What's up?"

"...You know how I would sometimes act more nervous than I normally would on peculiar days?" Blaze remarked as she sat down next to Silver, rubbing the back of her head with her left hand.

Silver blinked as he held Blaze's right hand with his left hand, which made her jump a bit. "Blaze... I think I realize what it is."

"Y-you do?" Blaze gasped as her eyes widened, covering her mouth with her left hand.

Silver nodded as he began to trigger flashbacks. "Yeah, from what I can remember from those days, you were asking Amy and Vanilla advise for having good relationships..."

"...So you simply be yourself and not make things awkward?" Blaze asked Vanilla The Rabbit as she sat at the same table with her and Amy Rose.

"That's pretty much it. You just need to be totally cool with him and not feel bad in the slightest," Vanilla stated as she placed her hands on Blaze's shoulders. "You didn't do anything to hamper your relationship, did you?"

"Err..." Blaze murmured as she watched Silver pass by the table, holding a plain pizza pie in his hands. She trembled with fright as she hid underneath the table, too shy to admit her feelings for Silver.

Amy shook her head as she placed her hands on her hips. "Blaze, you simply can't act like this when the one you love is in front of you!"

"This feels more awkward than it should..." Silver remarked as he noticed all of the customers, and other coworkers looking at him and the table, all of then noticing Blaze trembling with fright.

"...And every single time I appeared while you talked with them about romance, you go from a cat into a chicken, methodically speaking, that is." Silver commented as he rolled his left hand around.

Blaze frowned as she lowered her eyes, looking down. "Silver... it's not easy being in love and having a duty to do. You should know that I have my royal duty as a princess, to look after my kingdom..."

"...Then go and look out for it!" Silver stated as he stood up, folding his arms together. "You're not going to feel better if you sit here being depressed over the matter of choosing between being in love and looking over your kingdom. If you feel compelled to go back, then do so, Blaze. I won't object to you being happy and keeping your people protected."

"...Silver, I..." Blaze began to tear up as she smiled, hugging Silver. "I don't know how to thank you..."

"Hey, it's all good. We're friends, remember?" Silver stated as he had both of his hands on Blaze's shoulders. "Don't worry about me. I'll be fine, I got the Chaotix with me. As well as Sonic, Shadow, Knuckles, and Amy."

Blaze nodded as she gave Silver a kiss on the cheek, heading back to the room as Silver smiled, rubbing his right cheek with his hand.

"She does have feelings for me..." Silver admitted as he retained his smile, folding his arms together. "I prefer to just stay as good friends, but it's good that she wants to look after me."

"...I take it that it went well!" Marine The Raccoon exclaimed as she popped up behind Silver, her hands on her face. "What was Blaze saying? How was she feeling? Does she have the hots for you? Are you feeling hot from her talking to you in such a way? Blah blah blah...!"

"Marine, please!" Silver gawked as he tried to calm down Marine, who continued letting her mouth motor on, much to her dismay.
