Percy and his adoptive family sat around the table, a tense air of determination hanging over them as they discussed their plans for revenge.
"You three are going to camp," Percy declared, pointing at Thalia, Luke, and Annabeth.
"Why?!" Thalia exclaimed, anger flashing in her eyes.
"Because I need you to get them ready for me to join them. With my parentage and Aura, they're likely to chase me out with pitchforks. That's also why Nico and Bianca can't go. Let the campers know it was me who stopped the monster attacks—subtly, of course. Your parents will be watching you closely. Also, don't use our adoptive father's powers; they can't know, or he'll get into trouble. We need our allies first before we can safely oppose the tyrant. End the prejudice against us. People will hate us unless you do something about it. Thalia, you'll be crucial. As a daughter of Thunder Thighs, I know you hate it, but lean into your lineage," Percy said, watching as Thalia sighed and buried her face in her hands.
"What about us, then?" Nico and Bianca asked in unison.
"I talked to Father. He said you two get to come with me to Atlantis. It took some convincing, but I made him see it as a chance to foster good relations between the two kingdoms. You'll be living with me and my other Father. Gods, I have a lot of parental figures..."
Laughter erupted around the table at that. Percy certainly did, but it wasn't a bad thing, of course.
