Silver yawned as he stretched his arms, turning around to see Blaze in his bed. He smiled, patting her on the head with his right hand.

"Sleep tight, my sweet, burning angel." Silver stated as he got out of bed and stretched his arms, heading into the kitchen as he opened the fridge, only to be snatched inside by Vector, the fridge door closing instantly.

"Agh! What the hell!?" Silver exclaimed as he glanced up at Vector, who still held him in his arms. "Vex, what are you doing here!?"

"We... have a situation at the Pizza Hut." Vector stated as he glanced down at Silver. "It's best if we went there immediately."

Vector then pulled down a random lever right by him with his left hand, a slide suddenly appearing below the two as Vector and Silver slid down it, the slide taking them all the way to the Sonic Adventure 1's Station Square Pizza Hut as they emerged in the computer room, the two animals being greeted by Nicole.

"Hey Nix. How's the computing doing?" Vector asked as he got up, helping Silver up as well while glancing at Nicole.

Nicole smiled, the computerized lynx cat holding her hands together in the front. "It's going fine, Vector. Your clones are definitely something."

"FIND THE COMPUTER ROOM!" All the Vector clones gleefully exclaimed as they waved at the real Vector, who waved back in response, with Nicole giggling as Silver widened his eyes from the echo effect of all the Vector clones' simutaneous exclamation.

"Anyway, we don't have time for idle chitchat right now," Vector stated to Nicole as he grabbed Silver and ran up the green staircase, going to the Pizza Hut's second floor as he then opened up the door into his office.

Silver was then placed on a sack of green dollar bills as Nicole popped up again via her nantities, with Vector sitting on his chair at his wooden desk, folding his arms together.

"What's the emergency?" Silver asked as he used his psychic to grab a slice of plain pizza, munching on it as he held it in mid air, his arms folded together.

Vector tapped his fingertips as he glanced at Silver. "Well... Nicole was kind enough to warn me that there might be an impending threat coming, so we have to prepare for the worst..."

"It's true. I've been sensing trouble ever since those weird quakes have been occurring last week," Nicole spoke up as she moved her right hand around.

Silver turned his head to Nicole as he blinked. "You mean the one that's been shaking not just Station Square, but Central City and all the surrounding zones, too?"

Vector and Nicole nodded as Silver murmured, finishing up the rest of his pizza slice as he stood up.

"Well this is a turn of events. I wonder what's causing it..." Silver remarked as he rubbed his chin with his right hand.

Meanwhile, deep below in the earth...

"Faster, you dumb bots!" Dr. Eggman growled as he was in his drill car, drilling through the ground as he had various different badniks tunneling all over. "I want all these tunnels to be created for my master plan to come into effect!"

"You think it'll fail again?" Cubot asked Orbot as they were several miles behind Eggman in their own, smaller drill car, with Cubot driving.

Orbot nodded as he had his right hand on his face. "Of course it will, Cubot. You know Sonic will come and kick the doctor's butt. Or at least his friends will, anyway."

"...True. Never thought of it that way." Cubot responded as he kept on driving, with Orbot stretching his tiny, robotic arms.
