Silver The Hedgehog was enjoying his time in the waves offshore of the Emerald Ocean, taking a swim as he was on a break. It was then that he suddenly was sucked up into a whirlpool, screaming as he tried to break away, but went swirling down into the whirlpool.
Later, Silver groaned as he was at the bottom of the Emerald Ocean that was used in the Sonic Drift grand prix, looking around as he noticed he was underwater. He gasped, but then noticed he had a weird jewel around his neck.
"What in the world?" Silver stated as he blinked, holding it in his left hand as he looked at it. "What is this?"
"It's an Air Charm. It lets you breath underwater without the need of gills," Stated an orange colored, green clad anthropomorphic fish. "The name is Coral. Coral The Betta. Pleased to met you."
"...He looks funny." A grayish, anthropomorphic manta ray stated as she peeked from behind Coral. "He looks like those land animals we keep seeing up on the waves."
"Oh Pearly, don't be shy, he seems friendly!" Coral stated to the manta ray, who was identified as Pearly. She turned back to Silver. "Anyway, what is your name?"
Silver blinked as he moved his hands around, standing back up. "Oh where are my manners? My name is Silver The Hedgehog." He then folded his arms together as he looked at Coral and Pearly, moving his hands. "Are you two from here?"
Coral smiled as she shook her head. "Oh, we're just going through the seas to see more there is to the wide open ocean."
"Y...yeah. It's... fun." Pearly whispered as she still felt a little nervous.
Silver smiled as he moved his hands around. "Well, if you want, I can show you what's up on the surface. How about it?"
Coral and Pearly glanced at each other as they turned to Silver, shaking their heads.
"I don't think either of us are ready for that yet..." Coral admitted as she held her hands together. "Although we do want to try something from the surface world..."
Silver smiled as he snapped his fingers. "That gives me an idea. Wait right here!" He then grabbed a yellow warp ring, going through it and ending up back in Sonic Adventure's Station Square, running right into the Pizza Hut as he went straight to the second floor, going in the kitchen and making a couple of plain pizzas as Espio The Chameleon and Vector The Crocodile watched.
"Whoa, Silver! Something's up?" Vector asked as he rubbed the back of his head.
Having finished up the pizzas, Silver paid off Vector as he left the scene, with Vector and Espio glancing at each other.
"Hmmm. He must be having a good time, wherever he's going," Espio commented as he remarked in an unimpressed tone.
Charmy Bee then accidentally collided into Vector and Espio while carrying various pizzas, all three of the Chaotix members collapsing on the floor as the customers watched in confusion, with Vector crushing Espio and Charmy.
Back in the Emerald Ocean, Silver was underwater as he returned to the sea scene with Coral and Pearly, all three of them having plain pizza as they sat on the underwater rocks that was amongst the bright coral reefs.
"Mmm... my, this land food is great!" Coral admitted as she burped loudly, slightly blushing in embarrassment as she placed her left hand on her face, watching her burp bubbles rising up to the ocean's surface. "Goodness, excuse me!"
Silver chuckled as he held his slice of pizza in his right hand, rolling his left hand around. "Oh, it's okay! Pizza does that to you, especially when you eat it a bit fast!"
"I... like whatever this goopy thing is..." Pearly admitted as she was referring to the cheese.
Silver smiled as he faced Pearly and Coral. "Well I'm glad you enjoy this pizza, girls! If you want, we can keep in contact so that we can have more meetings like this!"
"That sounds like a grand idea!" Coral exclaimed as her eyes lit up, taking another slice of plain pizza.
The trio of anthropomorphic animals laughed as they enjoyed their pizzas together, with Silver waving goodbye to Coral and Pearly as he headed back up to the surface of the Emerald Ocean racecourse.
