"No good... no good..." Silver panted as he was rushing back to the Station Square Pizza Hut, with it raining as thunder boomed in the background.
The psychic powered hedgehog was used to accidentally delivering pizzas late to the many customers around the world, but the last thing Silver wanted to be was late to coming back. And Vector was waiting at the entrance, the green crocodile's arms crossed as Silver panted, both of his hands on his legs as he glanced up at Vector.
"All right, care to explain why are you running late?" Vector asked as he eyed Silver.
Silver glanced back up at Vector as he moved his hands around. "I was delivering pizzas in the Netherworld, or the Afterlife, or whatever that Beetlejuice guy calls it, delivering pizzas when all of these sand worms kept attacking me! Let me tell you, it was no fun!"
"...Sand worms, huh?" Vector remarked as he rubbed his chin with his right hand. "Did they look reptilian?"
"...yeah, they did. And they had stripes." Silver commented as he moved his hands around. "Why did you ask?"
It was then that the Pizza Hut shook violently, with sand worms popping out of the ground and attacking the Pizza Hut, with all of the customers screaming as they ran out of the Pizza Hut. Vector and Silver gawked as they glanced at each other, being grabbed by the tail of a sand worm as they were crushed, screaming in pain for help as the sand worm gobbled them up. Amy emerged out of the girls' bathroom as she looked around, being on the second floor as she watched the rooftop be ripped off, with the rain pouring in as the sand worms hissed at her.
"Oh poo, if I knew that we were gonna have Beetlejuice references, I would have been practicing Danny Elfman's music on my tuba!" Amy remarked as she shook her head, being grabbed by the tail of the sand worm and gobbled up.
Later, after the entire Pizza Hut had been destroyed, with Station Square under attack, inside one of the sand worm's stomach, everyone sighed as Silver was munching on a slice of honey topped pizza, getting glances from Vector and Amy, who noticed this the most.
"You're eating while we're being digested?' Vector gawked as he had his arms folded.
"That's kinda gross." Amy added as she had her arms wrapped around her legs.
"What? Don't judge me!" Silver mumbled with food in his mouth as he gulped down his slice, picking up another slice as he kept on eating. "We're gonna be fine in the next chapter, you know."
Looking at each other, Vector and Amy shrugged in response as they joined Silver in eating the pizza while waiting to be digested.
