Silver hummed as he was on his way to the Sonic Adventure 1's Station Square Pizza Hut, when he paused, realizing something.
"Oh no... I left the stove on!" Silver screamed in horror as he dashed back to his apartment, only to see it bursting into flames as he fell on his knees, screaming in horror. "NO! MY HOME!"
"Hey dude, was this your doing?" One of the apartment dwellers, an anthropomorphic rat dude, asked as he held a burnt pizza pie in his hands, with Silver simply crying in response as he shrugged, the fire fighters being summoned to place the flames out.
"...So you didn't have Blaze there to help you out?" Amy remarked as she was munching on a slice of bacon topped pizza.
Silver nodded as he glanced up, his arms still wrapped around his knees as he had to get Sonic to bring him to the Pizza Hut. "Yeah. I incidentally forgot that Blaze went back to her dimension for a little vacation."
"Dude, that sucks." Knuckles remarked as he wrapped his left arm around Silver. "Don't worry, though. You can stay at my place on the Angel Island!"
Silver sighed as he used his psychic power to snatch a slice of the bacon topped pizza, munching on it as he hoped that food would make him feel better, with Knuckles and Amy trying to comfort him as Shadow watched alongside Espio, shaking his head.
"That dumb pothead should have checked his kitchen before he left," Shadow remarked as he sipped his Diet Dr. Thunder.
Espio, who was cleaning the counter, nodded his head in agreement. "Indeed. One must be wary of their settings before they leave. It's one of the prime instincts of a ninja to suspect every single inch possible."
Shadow raised his can to Espio as he kept sipping, with Silver continuing to bemoan himself.
