674. The Water Cooler

"This water cooler is pretty sweet." Rotor Walrus stated as he moved his right hand around, holding his cup of water in his left hand.

Espio The Chameleon nodded in agreement as he sipped his water. "Yeah. Wonder how much it costed Vector."

"He said it was like a hundred and fifty one dollars." Moltar chimed in as he raised his cup.

Rotor raised his right eyebrow. "For a water cooler? Talk about expensive."

Vector The Crocodile walked up to the trio of workers as he placed his hands on his hips. "Actually, it was the cheapest one I could find. All the others ranged from $200 to $500."

Everyone's eyes widened in shock as they looked back at Vector, who simply nodded as he rolled his hands around.

"Yeah. Water coolers. They're more than meets the eye." Vector remarked as he retreated into his office, saying before closing the door, "At least it made the Pizza Hut much more livelier!"

The coworkers agreed as they all nodded their heads, continuing to chatter and drink as they kept having some water.

Amy Rose was at the counter as she faced Silver The Hedgehog, pointing at the water cooler, which was on the kitchen's side of the counter. "Hey Silver, just what do you and the workers talk about while chilling over there?"

Silver, who was mixing up the pizza dough using his psychic powers while placing toppings on various prepared pizzas physically with his hands, glanced at Amy as he shrugged. "Oh, you know. The typical things that happen to us when we're not working."

"Such as..." Amy asked with a smile as she leaned forward, lowering her eyes as she held her hands together.

"Uhh..." Silver stuttered slightly as he moved his right hand around. "W-well, we all did go to that one Green Day concert in Knothole. It was pretty swell, you should have been there."

"Oh poo, I knew I missed out on something good!" Amy pouted as she shook her arms.

Cream The Rabbit came by with a slice of mushrooms topped pizza, glancing at both of the older hedgehogs. "What are you two talking about?" She asked as she swallowed her slice of pizza.

Looking at each other, Silver and Amy decided to add Cream into their conversation as Silver kept on making pizzas, placing the topped pizzas into the oven to warm up as he used his psychic to place the pizza dough down on the counter, preparing to place toppings on it.
