"Slow day today, huh?" Rotor remarked as he noticed how bored Espio looked.
Espio sighed as he nodded his head, having been tasked to mostly do cleaning for the day as he placed his empty cup under the water cooler, pouring fresh cold water into his cup. "Yes, very slow."
"Where's Silver?" Rotor asked as he rubbed the back of his head with his right hand.
Espio shrugged as he zipped his cup of water. "I could have sworn he went on a pizza delivery..."
"Actually, guys, I'm in here." Silver muffled, being trapped inside a garbage can. "And it's very stuffy. And I'm in great pain like you would not know."
Rotor and Espio glanced down, both blinking as they were quite confused.
"How on Mobius did you get trapped in there?" Rotor asked as he had a confused look on his face.
Silver sighed as he closed his eyes. "I guess a flashback is in order..."
Cue two hours earlier. Silver was placing several prepared pizzas into the ovens to let them heat up, with Silver then taking a break as he sat down with Amy and Knuckles at the counter, eating bacon topped pizza with them.
"Another day, another pizza pie." Silver remarked as he munched on a slice of pizza, gulping down as he smiled. "At least I've managed to keep this job longer than any of my other jobs."
"That's pretty good reassuring." Amy stated as she placed her hands on her face. "So, anything else exciting going on for you here?"
"Isn't making pizza a pretty big deal already?" Knuckles chuckled, ribbing Amy with his right arm as he had a half eaten slice of pizza in his left hand.
Silver sighed as he turned to Knuckles. "I know you're trying to Banepost, Knuckles, but could you just keep it in?" He then turned to Amy, pointing at her. "And that goes double for you, Amy."
Amy puffed up her face as she folded her arms. "Just because I'm the gassiest customer here, doesn't mean you should treat me like shit!"
"I agree. Let's see how Silver likes it when he's treated as garbage!" Scourge stated as he popped out of nowhere and grabbed Silver, chucking the silver colored hedgehog into the nearby trash can as he laughed.
Knuckles and Amy gasped as Silver screamed in pain, feeling his bones break as Scourge laughed his head off evilly, with Shadow arriving, sipping a Diet Dr. Thunder that he held in his left hand.
"I have a feeling I missed something good," Shadow murmured as he kept on drinking his drink.
"And stuck in this can, I am." Silver sighed as he could barely glance up at Rotor and Espio. "So how about letting me out?"
Rotor and Espio looked at each other as they shrugged, willing to help Silver out as they tried pulling him out, only to somehow get sucked into the trash can as well. They all groaned, with Charmy buzzing by, noticing the three coworkers trapped inside as he shrugged, continuing his business of buzzing around the Pizza Hut.
