"Your move, Knux." Shadow stated as he faced Knuckles, with a lot of green dollar bills, silver colored coins, and yellow rings on the table alongside various, vibrant colored poker chips.

Knuckles murmured as he was looking through his deck, shaking his head. "Hmmm... I just don't know, I don't want to boldly go where no man has gone before..."

"But you're not a man! You're an enchilada!" Charmy giggled as he dropped a couple of hot, spicy enchiladas on Knuckles' head, only to be punched in the face by an angry Knuckles as Charmy began crying, rushing into the bathroom.

"How do you manage to put up with him?" Shadow commented to Knuckles as he was rubbing the back of his black and red quills.

Knuckles sighed as he rolled his left hand around, closing his eyes. "I don't know. I think the better question is how on earth could Espio and Vector tolerate him?"

"It's a charitable case." Espio stated as he walked past Knuckles, moping the floor. "We keep him around because he has no home elsewhere. That, and we not only need an extra member to fly, but he makes us look good for the press, and whatnot."

"So I see." Shadow stated as he grabbed a slice of his black olives and pepperoni pizza, munching on it as Knuckles took a sip of his Mountain Dew.

It was night, close to closing time, as both Shadow and Knuckles were playing a game of poker with each other, with the two poker playing anthropomorphic mammals on the Sonic Adventure's Station Square Pizza Hut's first floor, due to the second floor getting renovations done. Vector temporarily moved his office into the right side of the kitchen, just right by the drive thru window where Bubsy The Bobcat was stationed as he was still acting weird. Silver was spinning the pizza dough as he looked up, seeing Amy walk into the Pizza Hut.

"AMY!" Everyone exclaimed happily as they waved at Amy.

Amy giggled as she waved in response. "Hey everyone! Having a good night, today?"

"Pfft, yeah, it was good, until you showed up, you fat pink ball of gas." Stated a very grumpy Scourge as he was at the water cooler, sipping some water as he had a strong headache.

Silver placed the pizza dough down as he smiled at Amy, moving his hands around. "So, what is new with you, Amy?"

"Oh, the usual. Me and Sonic kicked Eggman's butt, then we went to see an action comedy movie, and then we went lavaboarding!" Amy stated at a fast pace as she sighed, holding her hands together as she smiled, lowering her eyes. "Sonic is so much better when he actually treats you as a friend and not as a flanderized, one dimensional character."

"I hear ya." Silver agreed as he took several prepared pizzas out of the oven, placing them on the green counter as he used his psychic power to grab the various sauces and cheese, placing all of them on the pizza dough as he rolled his right hand around. "In other news, R.O.B. told me he could show me how to customize my psychic powers."

"Oh, that sounds grand!" Amy stated as she placed her hands on the counter, with her and Silver continuing to bicker as Espio was cleaning the floor, still seeing Vector acting bizarre as the green crocodile was chucking pepperonis into the air.

"Hmm... I can't just figure out what's going through Vector's mind..." Espio murmured to himself as he squinted his eyes, shaking his head as he was determined to get to the bottom of the predicament involving Vector's odd behavior.

"FIND THE COMPUTER ROOM!" Was all that Vector had exclaimed as he began head banging to the music playing in his head, with Espio swearing that it was heavy metal.
