"Hey guys, I haven't seen Silver today." Charmy Bee stated to Espio The Chameleon and Rotor Walrus as they were handling the pizza making for the day at the Pizza Hut in Sonic Adventure's Station Square.
"Oh, he went off to do some gift shopping." Rotor remarked as he was cleaning up the counter, glancing at Charmy.
"Gift shopping, huh? That's thoughtful of him." Espio murmured as he placed several pizzas into the ovens. "Who is he with?"
Rotor shrugged as he shook his head, taking out some pizza dough and began spinning around. "I dunno, he just said that he was going to go with some unusual friends."
Silver the Hedgehog, Wave The Swallow, and Wes Weasley were all gift shopping together at the mall in Empire City, all of them ultimately looking for the same thing - Empire City's rare mix of a chocolate cake with vanilla and cherry fillings, topped with strawberry icing.
"Ugh, how hard can one cake be?" Silver groaned as he was looking through a map on his IPhone, shaking his head in dismay.
Wave sighed as she shook her head, shrugging as she opened her eyes, getting quite annoyed. "I don't know, but I think we're lost. We went through this mall three times in a circle!"
Wes chuckled as he wrapped his arms around Silver and Wave. "Well come on now, palsies! Let's not just mope about, we got a cake to find!" He then began offering various strangers some useless knick knacks in an attempt to get some advice in return, with Silver and Wave both sighing as they looked at each other, shaking their heads.
It was another day at Pizza Hut as Silver hummed, having a honey topped pizza as Amy Rose walked up to him, smiling as she held her hands together.
"So, how did your trip to the mall go yesterday?" Amy asked as she tilted her head to the right, blinking.
Silver smiled, wagging his right index finger. "Pretty well, considering what we got out of it." He then pulled out a green heart shaped container, revealing chocolate chip cookies with rainbow sprinkles on it. "It wasn't cake, sadly, but we found the next best thing!"
"Ooh, can I have one?" Amy asked as she held her hands together.
Silver was about to comment when Vector The Crocodile emerged out of the trash can nearby, pounding Amy on the head as he pointed at her.
"You're gonna have to pay for it, pinky!" Vector stated as Amy then attacked him, with the two attacking each other as Silver sighed, going back to having his pizza as he placed away his cookie container.
