Silver yawned loudly as he was taking a brief nap at the Pizza Hut in Sonic Adventure's Station Square, with it snowing as the customers were all heading inside to warm themselves up, with Rotor and Espio handling the pizza duties.
"Silver looks exhausted." Rotor remarked as he handed several customers their requested pizzas, taking the green dollar bills in return and placing them into the cash register.
Espio smirked as he spun a couple of pizza dough into the air, forming them into a proper circle as he got out some tomato sauce and spices. "Well he is a hard worker. He puts more time into working here than everyone else." He then began putting the sauce and spices on the pizza dough. "I think he's warranted some sleep every now and then."
"Sleep is for the weak!" Vector bellowed as he grabbed Silver and chucked him through the front window, making the silver colored hedgehog land in the fluffy white snow below as he pointed down. "Get your butt back up here and get back to work, mah boi! Time is money!"
"Oww..." Silver groaned as he rubbed his forehead with his left hand, dusting the snow off of him using his psychic power as he headed back inside, murmuring to himself. "I need to learn self restraint better and not let myself stay up past midnight with Knuckles..."
"Oh it's okay Silver." Amy stated as she approached Silver and gave him a hug, kissing him on the nose as she smiled. "Everyone has a moment or two where they feel out of it. You'll be better in no time."
Silver smiled as he patted Amy on the head. "Thanks, Amy. You always make me feel the sunshine even on the worst of days." He whistled as he made his way towards the kitchen, only to slip on a dropped half eaten slice of anchovies pizza, colliding into the counter as he wheezed in pain, the wind taken out of him.
Amy and the various customers gasped as Silver doubled over in pain, unable to get back up for a bit, with Vector groaning as he temporarily filled in to allow Silver to fully recover.
