AN: Sorry about the gap between updates. I had a family reunion in early June and after I got back I was studying for a certification exam to get a teaching certificate. I've done the test and I'm just waiting for the results now.
AN2: Alright, loved the response I got from last chapter. At this point the pairing is most likely going to be Izuku/Jiro but I will admit I am extremely tempted by the idea of aged up Yakuza Princess Eri. So let me know what y'all think of that and if you'd be down for aged up Yakuza Eri, pairing or no. I have plans for this world's 'Dekusquad' and 'Bakusquad' and an aged up Eri would honestly fit both the group setup for this Dekusquad and would be a nice parallel to 'The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic' in the form of a 'villain' faction person brought onto his team. That's important because I DO want a 'villainess' brought into Izuku's circle/Dekusquad but there aren't many who are Izuku's age. The only one I could remember close to his age was Himiko and I despite her as a pairing so that's a HARD no. If there are any other villainesses close to Izuku's age you can think of that would work that I forgot about let me know. Or if there's one that you'd like to see get hit by a 'de-aging' quirk or something. Other than that, here's the start of Izuku getting his Dekusquad.
An Unusual Rescue Hero
Chapter 2
-Tenya Ida-
Wrapped up tightly in his warm weighted blanket, Tenya happily drifted in and out of sleep. His parents were off at a Hero conference across Japan, and, per their instructions, he wasn't to train without supervision. That meant this long weekend was one of his rare breaks to fully sleep in and he would fully utilize it as such.
Or he planned to anyway.
"Rise and shine sleeping beauty!" the voice of his older brother shouted as Tensei burst into the room, startling Tenya out of his bed and dreams with an undignified squawk.
"Tensei?!" Tenya coughed at the volume of his shout, forcing himself to calm down "What are you-?"
"Come on baby bro, get moving!" Tensei grinned, pulling Tenya up and bundling him off to get clean "We've got a fieldtrip to do today!"
"I, what?!" Tenya was utterly baffled by his brother's energy and plans, plans that Tenya had in no way known before his abrupt awakening.
"Trust me, it'll be fun!" Tensei refused to elaborate any further as Tenya's older brother hurried downstairs, most likely for breakfast.
-Rose-
Sitting in her office, the window open to let in a nice breeze, Rose went through the undeniably most irritating part of her job.
The fucking paperwork.
She had to file reports every time she user her quirk to heal someone. Every time her boys grabbed someone to evacuate them from a disaster area. Every fucking time some Hero or Cop pissed themselves around her, bunch of damn pansies.
"Oh Captain, my Captain!" the familiar enthusiastic voice called out, "Your favorite Hero has arrived to liven up your- AAAARGH!" the moron was cut off by a thrown cup bouncing off his forehead.
"Oh, stop your whining Tensei, I know you're tougher than that." Rose rolled her eyes even as she vaulted out of the open window, seeing her old pupil and a fretting mini me "Plus I can heal you right back up if it turns out you've been slacking."
"I can feel the love boss." The speedster Hero groaned as he sat up, rubbing his head even as he tossed her cup back over "Tenya, I want you to meet the Rescue Hero: Captain Rose. She's the Hero I interned with back when I was at UA."
"Him and that uppity little rabbit Mirko." Rose snorted "I'm guessing you still haven't gotten a date from her?"
"Oh, come on boss!" Tensei whined even as he scrambled up, the teenager with him just looking confused, "Don't say stuff like that in front of my little brother!"
"Hah!" Rose barked out a laugh even as she slapped Tensei upside the head with a healing light, his bruise fading "If I wanted to embarrass you in front of him, then I'd talk about the time you ran into a brick wall and broke both the wall and your nose."
"Boss!"
"Brother! Why were you not wearing a helmet?!" the little Tensei, who apparently was a lot stricter, started scolding the pro hero, apparently forgetting that Rose had just beaned the man in the head.
"Look Tenya, I was a first year and that's the incident that made me start wearing them when I trained." Tensei groaned, hoping to end the scolding.
He was not successful.
"So, what brings you out here to see me brat?" Rose grinned, leaning against the porch railing "Or are you here for some refresher training?" her grin had the younger one, Tenya, squealing and hiding behind his brother.
"I came here to introduce Tenya actually." Tensei grinned, not phased by her expression, having actually gone through the training, "I wanted to try and get him a shot in the UA recommendation exams, but they only accept letters from family if the one writing it is in the top ten." A recent change that she was positive was done for Endeavor's sake alone.
"Hmmm. Is that so?" Rose circled around Tensei to inspect the nervous teenager "Huh, he's about my nephew's age."
"Oh yeah, I remember you talking about a nephew back when I interned here." Tensei looked up thoughtfully.
"His quirk just came in actually. It's just like mine." Rose's grin grew wider at that, Tensei gaping before a look of pity filled his face.
"That poor boy, the training you must be putting him thro-!" the brat's sass was cut off by a kick to the head, one infused with healing energy to make sure he didn't get injured of course.
"Watch the snark Tensei, I can still kick your ass." Rose rolled her eyes, at Tensei's dramatic twitching.
"Got it…boss…" the pro hero wheezed pathetically.
"Oh, stop being dramatic, you know I didn't hit you that hard." Rose pulled him up to his feet with a huff.
"Your idea of 'not that hard' is a lot different from a normal person's boss." Tensei scoffed "But you said it just came in? How long you've been training him."
"This is the fourth day of his training, he just started joining the Black Guard on their runs." Rose nodded, eyes turned to the dirt road her idiots would be returning by.
"Want me to get him a recommendation letter too?" Tensei asked, following her gaze.
"Nah." Rose's grin was vicious "My brat's going to do the regular exam. A better test of his training that way."
"Ah, I gotcha." Tensei nodded, having picked up her thought process instantly, even if the new brat, Tenya, still looked confused.
"Still, it might be good for Izuku to have someone his own age to talk to." Rose studied Tenya with more curiosity "His only friend his own age is a brat from his old school. Fucking Quirkist shithole."
"Metaliberation idealists?" Tensei narrowed his eyes, noting her language and putting the pieces together given her earlier remark about late blooming quirks.
"Pretty much." She nodded, her grin vicious "I made sure to…properly express my displeasure to the principal there before sending the whole thing to Nezu."
"…Now that's just cruel." Tensei shuddered, "You're scary but Nezu is the horrifying all knowing rat god of UA. You're gonna give someone nightmares doing shit like that."
"Good." Rose was pleased by that notion "But back to your request. You, boy!" she turned to Tenya who snapped to attention "Once my idiots get back, you're going to show me what all you can do. I won't have anyone get a letter of recommendation from me unless they earn it."
"Yes ma'am!" Tenya shouted in agreement, still ramrod straight.
"And loosen up brat, this isn't the military." Rose rolled her eyes as the boy blinked owlishly.
-Izuku-
Panting, and wanting to collapse, Izuku trudged up to the cottage. Every day so far had been running till he couldn't move anymore. Then his Aunt Rose would use her quirk on him, or he'd use it on himself, and then running would continue. He couldn't use his quirk on himself while running, not yet anyway, he kept losing focus, but he was sure he'd almost gotten it.
"Hey, Tensei, that you?" Mill shouted eagerly as Izuku looked up, seeing two new faces outside the cabin talking to Aunt Rose. The five black guard ran over to the adult of the two newcomers, laughing and rough housing in a way that made it clear he was a familiar face.
"Ah, glad to see you didn't fall behind." Aunt Rose nodded to him, a hint of a smile on her face at his progress, "Izuku, I'd like you to meet Tensei Ida, he interned with me back when he was in UA. With him is his little brother, Tenya Ida. Odds are he'll be one of your classmates in UA."
Exhausted but using his healing quirk to replenish his energy, Izuku nodded to the now named Tenya Ida "Hello. I'd offer to shake your hand, but I'm drenched right now." the joys of sweat.
"Alright Izuku, go clean up. Try to keep your healing light going the whole time if you can." Aunt Rose ordered, "For now I'm going to test Tenya here to see if he's good enough for a recommendation letter."
"…I shall pray for your soul." Izuku gave Tenya a serious look, trying and failing to dodge his Aunt swiping at the back of his head for the snark.
"Change of plans brat." Izuku gulped at his Aunt's vicious grin "If you have enough energy to be cheeky then you can keep training. Both of you, move it!"
-Tenya-
Groaning, Tenya collapsed onto a bed in the nearby Hotel that Tensei had gotten for them. His brother planned for them to spend the whole long weekend here training with his old mentor and her new protégé.
Izuku Midoriya was certainly nicer than his Aunt at least, even if he was just as stubborn as the fearsome woman. The two had gotten to discussing quirks and quirk theory as they ran together.
"I wonder if Momo would like to meet him too." He considered his friend from the higher society functions his parents often took him to.
