V and Jackie witnessed the death of countless people at that station and when everything returned to normal with the dark tunnel they looked sadly at the corpses and skeletons of those who had died.

In order to make a breach in their defenses one of the veterans Wyatt Alken took one of the available linear frames and placed a plasma bomb on his back, strong enough to destroy the defenses.

But without damaging the ruins of the Empire State since it would be used as headquarters, with everything ready, Wyatt Alken drank a drink of whiskey and, holding an American flag, began to run towards the German defenses.

The Germans tried to kill him but the man was so full of stimulants that the bullets that managed to pass through him did not stop his unstoppable force, not to mention that he was receiving cover fire from his fellow veterans.

When he reached where the Germans were with the last of his strength he rushed towards them while pressing the detonator of the plasma bomb which destroyed the German defense line while turning a large number of defenders into green piles of smoke.

With the opening of the defensive line Rick Morton did not hesitate to begin a frontal advance with all the force under his command, using the combat robots as a spearhead he entered the German defenses with full force.

Which collapsed since as strong as they were, they had not been present in the war and their only confrontations had been against weak rebels, but now they were experiencing the true face of war.
