On the bank of the Hudson River the last group of Germans under the command of Brigadeführer Gernot Herrmann were making their last stand as the attack they had made was completely repelled.
Gernot Herrmann who was with his hands behind his back was looking out a window of the building where the last defense of the German army was under his command.
"Ich bin im Würgegriff des Feindes!"
Knowing that he couldn't afford to be captured by the Americans he pulled out his trusty Luger P60 and placed it on his head so he could end his life while he closed his eyes.
However, when he pressed the trigger and his gun fired, he did not feel the cold of death so he opened his eyes only to see a man in an American army uniform with black hair wearing black glasses.
"Ah, trying to escape your crimes with a bullet, Herrmann?
How disappointing.
I thought men like you enjoyed facing their monsters. I guess you're as pathetic as the worms you command."
Gernot, without hesitation, fired his gun at that man who remained standing without trying to attack or dodge the bullets in any way.
When his gun ran out of bullets, Alucard just brushed off the dust on his clothes as his wounds healed in plain sight and walked towards the German. "That's all you have Herrmann, don't try to use some strange weapon.
Even the worms I fought a long time ago put up a bigger fight than you..."
Alucard stretched out his hand and began to choke Gernot Herrmann who was doing everything he could to free himself from the hand that was killing him.
"You're weaker than the Major and you're definitely worse than a worm, maybe you're just a piece of shit on the road who doesn't deserve to die by my hand.
But even if you're just a piece of shit, you have a role to play and they need you alive."
A few minutes later the Nazi flag on the building was taken down and in its place the American flag of the enclave was placed, the few captured soldiers were taken in chains to the Empire State.
Since Franz personally wanted to declare war on the Germans, while his troops advanced to New Jersey and other states to begin the war of American liberation.
In turn, ICBMs began to leave the Gate, which were full of the T virus and which would be released in German territory as retaliation for Manhattan and as a way to make the Germans have fun with their zombie apocalypse.
In the Empire State, a studio was being prepared to broadcast the declaration of war worldwide while the survivors were removed to Night City.
This is because Manhattan would be a completely militarized district and since there was no place for them it was better to take them to Night City where they could rebuild their lives. The only ones who wanted to stay were Grace Walker, her baby and her husband. Norman Caldwell.
This is because they wanted to see Commander Franz's declaration of war, although they had their doubts about the enclave at first knowing that they came from worlds where the Nazis were completely exterminated and where racism had become more of a classism.
Their doubts were resolved especially when they saw the diversity of the soldiers and the treatment of all of them, so they just waited in silence while the study that would change history was shaped.
When everything was ready, Franz, who had a black trench coat from the enclave, entered the Empire State Building and greeted Grace Walker. After this, he prepared to give a speech that would be broadcast on any possible media available.
Once everything was ready, the white queen began the transmission, initiating a worldwide hack of satellites and radio stations. In just seconds, the symbol of the enclave appeared on all television stations in the world while The Battle Hymn of the Republic was heard in the background.
When the enclave flag disappeared Franz who was in a replica of the White House presidential office looking at the camera smiled.
"Citizens of the world, brave rebels and defenders of freedom!
Today we stand on the brink of a new battle, a just and necessary war against an enemy that has spread terror and destruction in its ruthless quest for power.
The Nazis have left a scar on our history, a mark of cruelty and oppression that we cannot and should not ignore.
We, the Enclave, are the heirs of the true American spirit. We are the flame that never goes out, the hope for a bright future free from tyranny.
Our mission is clear: eradicate this plague from the face of the Earth and restore the justice and freedom they have sought to destroy.
Today, I will make a declaration of war on the Nazis and launch an attack on German soil in retaliation for the damage they have done.
Not only because of the damage they have caused, but because of the ideals they represent, which are an affront to everything we stand for and to humanity itself.
We will rise as an unstoppable force, a beacon of hope in these dark times.
We will fight with courage, with honor and with the conviction that our cause is just.
With every step we take, with every battle we win, we will remember that we are the Enclave, the true protectors of humanity.
For Liberty! For justice! For the Enclave!"
As he finished saying those words, a couple of soldiers carrying Brigadeführer Gernot Herrmann kneeled him in front of the camera.
Franz looked at him for a few moments before pulling out his gun and shooting him in the head multiple times, splashing some blood, as he wiped the blood off his face he looked at the camera with a smile.
"Never forgive, never forget.
First the liberation of America, then the burning of Berlin, there will be no mercy for the invaders.
I am the commander of the Franz Whittingham enclave and I hope that anyone who is dissatisfied with the Germans will stand up and start fighting, I will only take the first step for you.
Destroying the Germans' Deutschland the same way they burned the world."
As he finished saying those words, a soldier approached with a briefcase which he opened, revealing a red button covered with transparent acrylic. When the protection was removed, Franz pressed the button while he stared at the camera.
"I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.
God bless America."
With those words the broadcast ended up leaving only the enclave radio broadcasting with The Battle Hymn of the Republic as the main song and an enclave flag.
What many did not know was that a series of hundreds of ICBMs with T virus loads had been fired from Manhattan into German territory and that they could not be intercepted since the White Queen was in charge of preventing them from being discovered.
