"Man, it feels good to be back to work," Silver said as he walked into the Pizza Hut, wearing vacation gear as he grabbed the one slice of pepperoni pizza on the counter in front of him, eating it as he burped.
"You look like you're in a good mood," Rotor stated as he was in Pizza Hut gear, having been filling in for Silver.
"Oh I am!" Silver exclaimed as he folded his arms together. "Although thanks to Arceus, I technically haven't really left. Here it's been for basically a couple of minutes, but where I went... it was like an entire month!"
"A month, huh?" Rotor remarked as he grabbed a cup and got some cool water from the cooler, sipping it as he placed his right arm on the counter. "Where exactly did you go?"
"Well, I went to the grassy mountains. I haven't camped in a long time." Silver stated as he used his psychic power to get another pizza slice, eating it as he nodded his head. "And boy was it beautiful, I could tell ya-"
"Yes, that's great, now put on this gear and get right back to work!" Vector stated as he placed on the Pizza Hut gear over Silver, snapping his fingertips as he slithered back up the staircase like a snake, despite the fact that he was a crocodile.
Silver waited several seconds as he shook his head, turning to Rotor as he moved his right hand around. "Vex misses me that much, huh?"
"Well you said so yourself. It's only been like, what, five minutes at the most?" Rotor laughed as he took out some finished pizza pies from the ovens, placing them on the counter to let them cool off. "That would be the length for a cartoon short."
"I can see where you're going with that. Well what may seem fast here could be slow elsewhere, like where I was." Silver stated with a smile as he winked. "Of course, I occasionally had dream about you guys. I need a break, but I can't fade Pizza Hut out entirely... it's helped me throughout all these years."
Silver and Rotor then turned around as they heard crying, with it coming from Amy and Charmy, who both were eavesdropping on the two.
"That was so emotional!" Amy sobbed as she blew her nose in a handkerchief she had on hand, tears flowing down her eyes like cascades of a waterfall.
"I'm just crying because I can get in any mood quick!" Charmy added as he began rubbing his soaking eyes with his left arm.
Silver and Rotor chuckled as they faced each other and performed a high five, with the psychic hedgehog joining the purple walrus in working at the remaining time frame for the day.
"Hey Silver," Vector stated as he stood right next to Silver behind the counter in the kitchen, with it being a slow day at the Pizza Hut.
Silver munched on a pepperoni pizza slice as he turned his head to Vector. "Yeah, what's up?"
Vector pushed Silver into a warp portal he just created via snapping his fingers, with Silver screaming as he flailed his arms, the portal disappearing.
"What did you do that for?" Knuckles asked as he was there to get himself some pizza.
Vector yawned as he stretched his arms, winking. "Oh, I just wanted to see if this new snapping technology did something worthwhile, and it did." He then snapped his fingers again, with Silver falling out of another portal from the top, looking like he was torn apart.
