CHAPTER 3

Cicada Hive

Cicada Hive, best known for its Mosaic Garden and Cicada Hive University, was the home of HiveWing Cricket and SilkWing Blue's family. Consisting of half-sister Luna, father Admiral, mother Burnet, and stepmother Silverspot, Blue was destined to introduce his family to the humans from Britannia and the dragons Clay and Peril, who hailed from Pyrrhia.

"Blue." spoke Admiral. "What are those scavengers doing in Cicada Hive?"

"Father, I can explain." said Blue. "Cricket and I found them in the Pantala savannas between Cicada Hive and Hornet Hive."

Admiral was confused.

"Admiral, they say they hail from a land known as Britannia." said Cricket. "They claimed that one of their allies was taken by HiveWing Queen Wasp."

"The HiveWing Queen has captured one of your allies?" asked SilkWing Luna to Meliodas.

"Yeah…" said Meliodas. "Arthur Pendragon, King of Camelot, was captured by this huge dragon with dragonfly wings after she had somehow found out that he was the one who murdered Queen Scarlet of the Pyrrhian SkyWings. We, the Seven Deadly Sins and our faithful allies, were taken here by Wasp's sisters."

"Well, HiveWing Lady Bloodworm had to have played some sort of quintessential role in that." said Silverspot. "She is by far the cruelest of Wasp's sisters."

"So you want to leave Pantala and rescue your friend?" asked Burnet.

"Of course." said Ban. "We want Arthur Pendragon back. You'll help us, right?" he later asked.

"Alright." said Admiral. "We'll help."

"Father, I apologize for dragging you into this." said Blue.

"No worries, Blue." said Admiral. "We are required to help humans in need."

"Especially since Starflight told me that scavengers were endangered in Pyrrhia." said Clay.

"He's technically right…" said Peril.

"You said you guys were known as the Seven Deadly Sins, right?" asked Admiral to Meliodas. "And you….with the blonde hair….I suspect you are their leader? I mean…seeing how everyone else is right behind you."

"I am." said Meliodas. "My name is Meliodas. And I command the Seven Deadly Sins: Diane, Ban, King, Escanor, Gowther, and Merlin." he said as he introduced himself and everyone in the Sins.

"And what about those three right there?" asked Admiral as he pointed out Elizabeth, Tristan and Hawk.

"The pig Hawk is my pet, Elizabeth is my wife, and Tristan is my son." said Meliodas.

"I see." said Admiral. "So on the conflict topic, what should we start out with first in finding your friend?"

"We confront Queen Wasp, right?" asked Ban.

"Ban, Wasp is too strong." said SilkWing Luna. "You would not believe what she possesses."

"Um…what exactly is Queen Wasp like?" asked Hawk.

"She's chillingly malevolent…she's evil. She's sharp, and she is dreadful." said Luna. "She can even control other dragons with the othermind. She sees us as dangerous."

"Sounds like Queen Wasp is…disrespectful." said Ban.

"She's a dreadful and malevolent curse!" yelled Luna. "Her and her sisters! What she's planning to do to your Arthur friend is really beyond your mind."

"Then we have to stop Queen Wasp before something happens to Arthur Pendragon!" yelled Gawain.

"Gawain's got a point." said Tristan. "Dad, what's going to happen now?"

"I don't know, Tristan…but hearing about Wasp makes me want to flip out on her right now." Meliodas proclaimed.

"Can we join the cause too?" asked Peril. "I mean, Clay and I…we could get allies from Pyrrhia."

"We fought alongside Pyrrhia to overrun Scarlet." said Meliodas.

"Clay, Peril, I'll go with you." said Luna.

Clay and Peril nodded; all three of them went off east to Pyrrhia. As for Meliodas and his allies, they decided to exit Cicada Hive. However, per Admiral's request, they headed over to the Poison Jungle, home of the LeafWing tribe ruled by Queen Sequoia.
