The next couple months were trying for most of the village. The end of Hiruzen's reign had been announced and the village showed mixed reactions. The clans seemed to be at odds and factions were beginning to form though for what was unknown.
Some clans and civilians supported Hiruzen, some supported Tsunade, and some supported Jiraiya. The whole village held their breath awaiting the selection of the new kage. The namiuzu clan was just as tense.
Rukia and Mai were coping with their past while adjusting to the idea of a new clan while coping with their past. Yakumo was struggling with using her curse seal which made it hard to get close with her new clan due to the fear of another catastrophe.
Naruto invited an orphan boy to join the clan. He found the boy, Arashi, running from street vendors after stealing and was impressed by how the boy evaded his pursuers. Arashi had even put up a fearless but futile fight when Naruto stopped him and asked to talk to him.
After finding out the boy was in the academy and lightly probing his mind, Naruto invited him to the clan to help his ninja career. The boy even had the gall to demand a bloodline after finding out who Naruto was to the jounin's amusement. Arashi had originally joined the academy late so he was behind Hinabi's class yet her same age.
Anko was allowed to join the clan too, mostly because she was able to make Naruto uncomfortable enough that he agreed to get away. Naruto had thought of it before but thought it'd be too bothersome but she did deserve a family too, And a clan to back her in konoha given her history Haku had vouched for the crazy snake lady as well. It was made official when Naruto did a precautionary scan of Anko's mind to ensure her intentions were well placed.
The village finally received Uzushio's announcement of return Via Lumia, rollo, tayuya, and sora. Rollo's rinnegan was hidden behind dark shades. The elders and some clans were angry and suspicious of Naruto for signing over his rights to the island with no fight but it was, 'clan business,' as he'd called it. With the council split and the Hokage growing absent, either in spite or nonchalance, the issue was dropped. Tayuya and Lumia were even shown the clan compound.
Naruto and Hinata were handling their near death experiences differently with Naruto training to death and Hinata relentlessly researching on some jutsu. Haku and the others of the clan could see it was consuming them which didn't help the clan grow closer at all.
Haku took it upon herself to get through to the two. She tried cooking their favorite foods. She tried hugs and kisses. She even tried pleading but nothing could get through to them. She knew what the problem was too.
They both blamed themselves for almost allowing the other to die. Haku didn't see how they couldn't realize that there were just stronger opponents in the world at that moment but not for long. Haku also did her best to get the rest of the clan to gel together. Her large meals in Naruto's house was the biggest hit.
She tried her best to explain to the Rukia, Arashi, Mai, and Yakumo, that they weren't usually like that and it was easy for the new members to understand. They'd experienced loss and blamed themselves at one point or currently too.
After over a month of the same with Hinata and Naruto, Haku had had enough. She'd locked the three of them in Naruto's room, using her body to guard the door for almost 24 hours until Naruto and Hinata got their worries off their chests.
It even took less than a few dozen Ice needles, and Haku was proud of herself and them. She then reminded them that they were alive now. They had their whole lives together and once they were strong enough, they'd have little to fear for one another.
Haku felt like it was her crowning moment in their new little clan and she figured she'd found her place in it too. Aside from that, Hinata was having issues since her return and had been placed on medical leave. Her byakugan had begun causing her pain and affecting her chakra system.
While Naruto was once again on edge because of Hinata, he continued to put on a brave face for her and the clan. The Namiuzu clan had begun training together and having regular meals to bring the new family closer and after an awkward period in the compound. They were beginning to warm up to each other.
Soon, the Namiuzu were having their first clan event, a formal dinner for Tsunade. She'd be fighting Jiraiya the next day. They were in Naruto's house and Haku had prepared barbecue, ramen, cinnamon rolls, and ordered special sake from the fire capital.
The full clan now included Naruto, Hinata, Haku, Hinabi, Yakumo, Rukia, Mai, Arashi, and Anko. Tsunade and Shizune were the guests of honor and there were enough people for Naruto to create a dinner set outside complete with tables, chairs and tiki torches. Mokuton really was a wonderful bloodline.
There weren't many conversations until people began to eat and loosen up. The newer members of the clan were finally comfortable enough to ask questions about the clan like their motives and expectations for its members and how it was run.
Most of the newer members were surprised to be eating with Tsunade, one of the legendary sannin and even more surprised at her drinking habits. Anko seemed to have met her match because tsunade shut down her perverted and aggressive habits for the night. Anko specifically promised that she'd play nice.
Naruto confirmed that Shizune was a senju and Tsunade's daughter by comparing their chakra signatures. He also got to know Rukia better. The girl appeared shy at first but she was fiery once she got shared his interest in kenjutsu though was admittedly a clumsy girl who probably shouldn't be trusted with a katana. Naruto was excited for that. She even really took a liking to Haku and seemed to follow her around the compound and called her big sister. He felt she'd fit in just fine.
Arashi ate like it was his mission which Haku was glad the extra she cooked definitely wouldn't go to waste. The boy wasn't the most talkative but usually his actions did the talking for him. They all figured he'd be the troublemaker of the clan. Naruto thought he'd fit in great too.
Mai insisted on helping Haku with the food and they got along too. The girl was deathly sweet but meek wouldn't fit the description at all once you got to know her. Even more, she'd already begun teaching anyone in the clan with interest in basic sealing. Yet another wonderful fit, Naruto appreciated.
Yakumo seemed to be somewhat secluded but enjoyed feeding the Ninja foxes their own plates of the delicious food. Rukia thought it was only right and found a common interest that night and a new friend in Yakumo..
Hinata and Hanabi we're talking animatedly about the properties of some form of water.
Hinata was happy and was playing footsies Naruto all night to Naruto's fake annoyance. Haku even joined in on the other side of Naruto at the table.
Naruto would've described the nights as one of the happiest he'd been. He'd even snuck off to the bathhouse with Hinata and Haku once everyone turned in for the night. The night ended early anyway so Tsunade could be prepared and the next day came quickly.
The fight was to take place about 10 kilometers south of konoha in an open field surrounded by tall trees. The area was said to be one of Hashirama senju's training grounds.
Only the members of the grand council were allowed to witness the fight. If a vote was needed, they'd do it then and there. Hiruzen elected to stay in konoha stating he had business to attend to which was odd to those who knew him.
Shukaku opted to stay, saying it'd be troublesome and he'd be able to view Inoichi's memories if need be. The fire Daimyo was in attendance so the area was secured to the tee although attacking when two sannin were fired up wasn't the healthiest decision regardless.
The two sannin met to discuss limitations on the fight with inoichi mediating though it took a minute to get past Jiraiya's flashy introduction. Jiraiya wasn't allowed to access sage mode and tsunade wasn't allowed to use her Byakugou seal, strength of a hundred seal. Everything else was allowed.
While many worried about Tsunade's ability to keep up. Naruto and Hinata knew better. While tsunade was away from ninja duties for years, she hadn't exactly neglected her training. Shizune was her apprentice in everything, even her combat abilities and to pass them on required Tsunade to maintain some resemblance of her former strength.
Factor in giving a legendary shinobi with perfect chakra control a bloodline and she should be fine, they figured. Inochi left the two sannin and the fire Daimyo made a speech that no one listened to while anticipation rose as the two sannin had an intense stare off.
"Give it up hime, you're not in my league anymore," Jiraiya chided. "Ha, I'd hate to be in a league of perverts. You should title your next book 'icha icha beat down'." Tsunade retorted slyly which earned her a few chuckles.
"Laugh all you want, but when I become Hokage that gaki's gonna be a proper shinobi for this village. Even if I have to beat it into him!" Jiraiya finished with a smirk. Tsunade's face grew serious and she replied coldly.
"You've always been an idiot Jiraiya. He'll never be controlled and soon, he'll be stronger than us all and you better hope he's on your side."
"Well he can't help you now can he." "Enough! Let me show you how Senju women treat perverts." Tsunade launched herself at Jiraiya. The old toad jumped away just as his former teammate slammed her fist into the ground, shattering the earth and launching debris into the air.
At the hokage's private training grounds located far behind the Hokage monument, Hiruzen sat in a meditative position wearing battle gear rather than his training gi or his formal hokage's attire. He was waiting for someone. The training ground was sealed off to everyone except those who knew the sealing key formula which was very few people.
Only the hokage, the sannin, and the anbu commander. The anbu commander was sent on a mission and would be out of the village and two of the sannin were fighting it out for hokage.
Hiruzen was a wise man due to years of experience and failure. His greatest failure was alive and well preparing nations to take on konoha for war and the old kage felt that it was time to correct his mistake.
Over the last months he'd secretly scouted the village and the traces of his former student were faint but there. The snake was snooping around for something, or someone. He knew that if he provided the opportunity, his former student would come to kill him.
Orochimaru never forgave the old kage for choosing Minato over him but Hiruzen didn't regret it a bit. Orochimaru in charge would be far worse than even Danzo. The village would've been used only to serve the snake's every sinister and wicked whim and Hiruzen wouldn't have that. At the very least he himself, and even Danzo, had done everything for the sake of the village.
The elder Sarutobi sensed a presence approaching and he knew it was time. The chakra was familiar, his old student Orochimaru. "Ku ku ku ku, I see you've been waiting for me Sensei. Tell me, do you resent them for pushing you out? Kukuku, you know I just had to give you a retirement gift." Orochimaru said as he stepped into the clearing the Hokage was sitting in.
"So, you've finally slithered out of your hole. I hope you're ready to face justice for your crimes in konoha." Hiruzen responded, still seemingly meditating. "Ah, you see I'm actually here to put an old man out of his misery, kuku. And I'll be taking a few young 'prospects' for otto as well. Call it a parting gift ku ku ku."
"You're going to die here today Orochimaru. And you won't be taking anyone from this village, not today. I've let you live for too long." The elder hokage said. Then, Hiruzen sarutobi, the elderly but powerful shinobi, rose to his feet and looked Orochimaru in the eye with a silent challenge.
"Yesss, kuku ku. I'm going to enjoy this." Orochimaru replied. The hokage jumped back and created a shadow clone before throwing a few shuriken. They both went through hand seals, one performing shuriken shadow clone jutsu while the other lit the shuriken with a katon jutsu. The shuriken thrown multiplied into hundreds before being lit and sped towards the snake sannin. Orochimaru countered with a mud wall before falling backwards and disappearing under ground and his defense was destroyed.
At Hashirama's training ground outside of konoha, Jiraiya sped through hand seals while reminding himself of his teammates ridiculous strength. Strong enough that he'd be out in one hit without sage mode.
He finished his seals and activated needle jizo jutsu, hardening his hair into spikes before shooting hair senbon from his head. Tsunade was peppered with the jutsu leaving a smug smile on Jiraiya's face.
Jiraiya's shinobi senses and years of experience told him to duck narrowly in time to avoid a crushing kick from Tsunade. The other one puffed into smoke like a shadow clone. She followed her attack with quick punches and kicks that Jiraiya had to dodge.
With her strength he'd take too much damage blocking her hits so she didn't let up. Jiraiya didn't like being forced into a taijutsu contest with her so he created an opening by whipping his hardened hair towards the woman and sending more needles.
Tsunade avoided them through a set of flexible flips before charging her opponent again. This time Jiraiya was ready, he extended his hardened hair to wrap around Tsunade's outstretched fist and pulled her off her feet. He started to yank her into the air so he could slam her back down but she recovered quicker than he thought.
The slug princess jumped to her feet and grabbed hold of Jiraiya's hair before yanking him off his feet and into the air then slamming him into the followed by stopping the ground which lifted a boulder sized chunk, and then kicked it towards Jiraiya.
Jiraiya released his jutsu just in time and jumped back to gain of earth sailed past him to the edge of the clearing and through a tree. His ears were ringing, It seemed he'd have to take this seriously if Tsunade's annoyingly similar smug smile was anything to go by.
Hokages private training ground, Hiruzen jumped out of the way to avoid a giant snake that erupted from the ground. When he landed he ducked to avoid a kick aimed at his head by his snake of a student. The snake lunges at him hoping to swallow him whole and seemed surprised when it did. Unfortunately it seemed to swallow a log with explosive tags and was blown into smaller snake chunks.
"Kukuku hmm seems like someones not in a good mood. It's a shame you won't be alive to see the end of the konoha. I'm sure that'd lighten you up." Orochimaru said with a tone of mirth.
"Enough of your games boy. I'm old. I've made many, many mistakes as hokage and I plan on fixing at least this one before handing over the hat." "Well I plan on killing the hokage so why don't we get to it" the snake sannin replied scowling.
With a long but quick set of hand seals, Orochimaru quickly summoned three coffins that popped from the ground one by one. Although he was too late to stop the first two, Hiruzen was able to stop the final one with a barrage of chakra coated shuriken.
Orochimaru gritted his teeth but decided the first two would be good enough, he wasn't even sure it'd work. The coffin lids fell to the ground revealing the first and second hokages. The elder sarutobi was almost in disbelief.
To think his former student had gotten his hands on his sensei's forbidden jutsu. This had to be the edo tensei. The only jutsu he knew that would bring a dead shinobi back to life and he knew or knew of every single jutsu konoha had.
"Orochimaru, tell me you haven't stooped so low" " kuku ha hahaa yess sensei what better way to kill the current hokage with the former ones kukuku ku"
"You coward! You'll burn for this orochimaru!" "Hm, I doubt it" the snake sannin responds as he places a kunai with a sealing tag attached into both the former hokage's heads. Hiruzen took stock of his situation and every second his odds of fixing one last mistake were dwindling.
He was already winded in his old age and his student could easily outlast him. From what he knew about the edo tensei forbidden jutsu, the user couldn't reanimate a dead body with the soul of a dead shinobi.
The shinobi would be recreated with a body that regenerated indefinitely and have access to the abilities they had in their life, though the extent depended on the one performing the jutsu. The reanimated shinobi would have an unlimited chakra pool that regenerates with their body. Truly a frightening jutsu.
The only silver lining was that Orochimaru wouldn't be able to bring back the hokages at their full strength. Their strength relied on orochimaru's chakra. While the snake had large reserves and a dense powerful chakra, he didn't have as much as the first two hokages and his chakra definitely wasn't as powerful.
The reanimated kages wouldn't be close to their original power. The third hokage immediately summoned monkey king emna and had him transform into his adamantine staff.
He couldn't afford a drawn out fight. As the two hokage, Hashirama and Tobirama stepped forward, their expressions were blank. They took their fighting stances all while the snake sannin cackled like a school girl.
Haku was walking through konoha with Shizuka and Hinabi. She was escorting Shizuka back to the Uchiha compound's barrier. Haku had been training with the young shinobi and showing them some medical ninjutsu.
Ever since Shizuka had her cursed mark removed she'd spent more and more time at the Nami-uzu compound. She felt so safe and comfortable there knowing about the barrier and having her friends around. It wasn't how the uchiha used to be but it was enough to trigger good memories.
She felt guilty for leaving her young clanmates for so long but the other three left were much younger than her and she needed to prepare for being a shinobi. The group walked through the compound gates and started towards the section protected by a barrier.
Haku, with her years of experience with a missing nin could tell something was wrong. She could smell blood for one and the door to the kids building was wide open with what she deduced to be scratch marks.
"Stop here," Haku said while blocking the academy students with her arm. "What's wrong Haku-san?" Shizuka asked. "Something's wrong. Stay here for a second." And without another word Haku left a shadow clone before entering the compound.
"How did she get in? I thought only uchiha and designated personnel could enter?" Hinabi asked. "I'm pretty sure certain members of your clan were given access, just in case, since the barrier can only be modified to allow someone in from the inside." Shizuka responded, growing nervous.
She finally noticed the front door and her heart dropped. Flashbacks of the snake sannin's visit to their clan ran through her mind and she prayed to kami it wasn't what she thought it was.
Unknowingly her sharingan activated so when she charged into the barrier, she was able to dodge Haku's surprised clone's grab. The clone couldn't leave Hinabi alone so it had to stay. Shizuka ran through the door of the mansion the kids stayed in and immediately she noticed a dead body, a chunin charred and cut.
It was bizarre because the blood was burnt yet still leaking. She continued down the hall and upstairs finding more bodies of housemaids, caretakers and another chunin. She heard someone drop behind her and, on instinct, spun around grabbing a training kunai from her pouch and attempting to stab whoever it was.
Haku grabed her wrist then her and left via shunshin. Once outside the barrier she summoned a crow and another shadow clone. The crow flew off to its objective and the clone disappeared via shunshin to alert the village leaders.
Shizuka wanted to know if they were dead but was slightly relieved to find that they were gone. There were only 4 uchiha left in konoha after sasuke was taken. Those three kids were the last family she had. She had to get them back.
"Shizuka I need you to go with my clone so I can track where they went." "But i need to find them, Haku- ne," she responded. "It's too soon, you need more training but they can't be far. Go straight to the Nami-uzu compound and don't talk to anyone. Idk how they got behind the barrier so we can't trust anyone right now. Go," and with those words, Haku was gone.
Hinabi saw Shizuka starting to follow and grabbed onto her. "Let go of me, I have to go find them," Shizuka cried. "No, you heard Haku, we need go back," Hinabi replied. "NO, you don't understand, I can't." "You you don't understand, Haku went after them and she can't fight while protecting you too. Come on." Hinabi said in finality as she dragged the panicking shizuka back to the Namiuzu compound.
Naruto was standing next to Hinata while they observed the sannin fight. They stood away from the gathered group of councilmen and the daimyo to avoid more questions. Naruto was filling Hinata in on parts of the fight she couldn't see.
Although Hinata had the byakugan, ever since she got back from the Miryo mission in Tanga, she couldn't use it. In fact if she molded too much chakra, she ran the risk of mind splitting headaches.
Her byakugan seemed to be a special trigger for the painful episodes. She'd even been temporarily removed from active duty due to the random onset of the pains that seemed to be increasing in frequency. They started a week after the mission and even Tsunade was at a loss for the reason why. All they could tell was her byakugan was possibly the issue for an unknown reason.
Naruto had confirmed that the chakra in her eyes were different and affecting her system as a whole. Removing her eyes had even been brought up as an option but Tsunade refused to allow it without exhausting all other options. Naruto knew Hinata wouldn't allow it. She was still a hyuuga by blood and a hyuuga's greatest shame is the loss of their eyes.
So far Miryo's chakra was the prime suspect. They suspected it affected her byakugan negatively but Hinata was remaining in High spirits for her clan. All attention was on the two sannin when summons were brought into the mix. Tsunade stood atop the massive slug katsuyu and Jiraiya was on the massive toad Gamabunta's head.
Jiraiya smirked, wondering how his old teammate would fare once they stepped it up. "Wipe that smirk off your face, pervert." Tsunade said with narrowed eyes. "Now now Hime, I'm gonna be your hokage in the near future. I'd show some respect."
"What's respectable about a 50 year old pervert that still can't get a woman his books can't pay for." Jiraiya gritted his teeth. "You know Hime, if you wear something skimpy then i might let you visit the brat but i doubt he'll be great company when i get the hat. He'll be busy creating more containers and supplying bloodlines when he's not being whipped into the perfect jinchuriki."
Now it was Tsunade's turn to grit her teeth. "That's a shame Jiraiya, because when I have the hat, no one's going to protect you from the brat when he reaches his potential. And you won't have the chance to touch him!" Both sannin had enough of talking and Gamabunta launched himself at katsuyu.
The giant toad removed a katana from his waste and sliced downward as it landed right on the slug. Tsunade disappeared into her summon and the sword sliced cleanly through while the toad fell onto the slug.
The toad sannin and his summon knew better than to think that worked and were affirmed as the slug split into millions of smaller slugs. The slugs jumped over Gamabunta climbing the giant toad. The toad boss let loose a string of obscenities as it waved its katana.
The slugs coordinated an acid spray on his arm forcing him to release the blade. Jiraiya used his needle jizo to try and clear Gamabunta but they were forced to jump away when all the slugs spit acid in a wide spray.
As they jumped, Tsunade appeared and kicked the bottom, dull side of gamabunta's blade which had been implanted in the ground. The blade flipped up and out of the ground before falling towards Tsunade, looking as if it'd crush her with the handle end.
The slug sannin jumped and flipped while precisely kicking the giant sword with her renowned strength. Gamabuntas giant blade flew towards the toad and his summoner spinning into a massive and deadly projectile.
The toad boss used a quick set of seals before shooting off a giant ball of water towards the ground. Suiton toad water bomb jutsu. The jutsu had enough force to propel them higher into the air, avoiding his own sword.
"I don't know what you did but you really fouled up this time, Jiraiya. And I don't blame her after what you said. Let's hurry this up," Gamabunta said once they safely landed on the ground. "Yea, yea, just do your job." Jiraiya responded while going through hand seals.
Gamabunta did the same knowing what he was planning but couldn't help wondering when Jiraiya had changed so much. Tsunade was back on top of her reformed Katsuyu when Jiraiya began his next attack.
They charged at the slug princess again but this time Gamabunta jumped high over Katsuyu and tsunade before spitting out a giant ball of toad oil. Jiraiya shot out a large fireball that lit the oil as the jutsu rocketed towards Tsunade performing, toad oil bomb jutsu.
Tsunade jumped far out of the way as Katsuyu separated and dispersed as best as she could. The toad oil bomb hit many of the slugs and exploded sending burning oil around the clearing. Jiraiya wasn't done as they shot off three more toad oil bombs trying to hit tsunade and katsuyu.
Tsunade was able to avoid one but the second one became a problem. It was well aimed so she couldn't dodge. Standing her ground she punched the ground with everything she had, raising a giant chunk of ground that flipped up just in time to collide with the toad oil bullet. Her defense was demolished but was good for her to make distance.
The toad combination jutsu was very effective as tsunade's left side caught some burning oil even after she'd created so much distance. She fought through the pain and kept moving, unwilling to give up her opening. The next toad oil bullet was in her general direction but not close enough that she couldn't get away.
Her impromptu defense also allowed her to get out of Jiraiya's line of sight and in that time she was able to create simple decoy clones. The last shot was nowhere near the real her and they stopped so the toad was probably out of oil.
She looked around and most of the clearing was burning with hot oil running along the ground. Her summon had mostly dispelled but a tsunade sized piece of Katsuyu crawled onto her burnt side and began healing her.
Jiraiya and gamabunta jumped and landed right in front of tsunade while the slug sannin watched on carefully, waiting until the last moment to react. "Give it up, you don't have much else up your sleeve and we both know it." Gamabunta grunted in agreement as they stared down at Tsunade.
She couldn't believe he had the audacity to stand right in front of her, the last senju, and one of the sannin, and antagonize her as if she was a genin. "Over my dead body!" She screamed. Gamabunta shot out his tongue to grab her but she punched the ground faster than he could. "Lava release, scalding upheaval," Tsunade intoned.
The ground below her shattered into thousands of pieces of earth before instantly turning into a red liquid and erupting from ground all around her. The lava became an instant eruption shooting over a couple hundred feet into the air and spreading nearly as far.
Gamabunta attempted to jump away but wasn't prepared for something like that. He was caught up in the jutsu forcing him to dispel but he was able to fling Jiraiya far enough away from the jutsu.
As the lava began to cool, Tsunade stood in a pit, knee deep in lava, marveling at the success of her first original jutsu with her new kekkei genkai. A jutsu that fit her style, one she could perform without hand seals if need be since she made it so similar to her super strength technique.
She couldn't see jiraiya so she just stood there, waiting while Katsuyu healed her. Moments later, she sensed something coming and jumped away. Jiraiya jumped from the ground from where she was standing and extended his hair grabbing her leg before swinging and slamming her into the ground hard.
Before she could recover he retracted his hair and launched himself at her with two rasengans. She flipped out of the way and he crashed into the ground destroying the area she'd just been.
Tsunade charged him this time forcing him to jump away while destroying the ground again. Jiraiya charged her with his rasengans at his top speed landing them both in her torso but wasn't surprised when she melted into mud. He heard something behind him and turned in time to block a kick. He'd used all the chakra he could to block it but was sent flying like a rag doll.
Tsunade was smirking until she felt the weight on her arm. The sneaky toad has snuck a gravity seal on her arm and now she had to use her super strength to move it the slightest. She was tired and didn't know how much more she could pull off without her thousand healings jutsu and the chakra boost it gave her. But she'd hold her ground until Jiraiya gave up or died.
Without sage mode he couldn't do too much more either. Jiraiya came running back towards her, going through hand seals for doton yomi numa, swamp of the underworld. The area around tsunade started getting softer and softer while her feet began sinking.
"Doton earth pillar jutsu," Tsunade responded as a pillar of earth rose under her feet and brought her out of the ground. She was going through more hand seals for a futon jutsu when Ibiki morino, a tall, bulky elite jounin, with a bandanna on his head, appeared in between the two sannin.
He had to carefully choose a place between burning oil, molten lava, and acid. "The council's decided!" He screamed quickly, preparing himself for defense if needed. Jiraiya looked affronted. "What, this battle isn't over. move or be in my way." jiraiya replied.
Inochi appeared next to ibiki, seeming very nervous. "The Daimyo and the council don't need to see anymore. We've decided." Yamanaka said.
"What? And what have they decided? There should've been a vote!" Tsunade fumed. "We did, and it was unanimous. Tsunade-same has been deemed strong enough to become hokage by the grand council so she will become the next. There's no more need to fight" Ibiki said annoyed. He words were followed by a moment of silence and a triumphant "Ha" from Tsunade.
