The glorious sun spread across the serene landscape, providing a warm and soothing light that touched skin. Birds chirped with melodic notes. The sky was clear with a few clouds her and there, indicating a peaceful day ahead.
A delicate breeze rustled through the leaves. The air was crisp and fresh everything appeared to be in perfect harmony like nothing could go wrong.
However, there was a tangible quiet that seemed almost too beautiful. The beauty of the day was evident, yet one Yuuki Rito could sense a faint, unsettling undertone. The peace seems to have an edge to it—a sense of something momentous without moment notice.
Even so, his senses were painfully aware of the contrasts between the peaceful surroundings and the unsettling sensation that had settled in his gut.
It seemed as if the serenity was only but a cover, hiding a storm that was about to erupt. Every ruffle of the breeze and distant sound seemed to foreshadow impending developments.
He couldn't escape the sensation that this beauty was only a prelude, a little calm before the storm that was sure to break.
The peaceful moment seemed almost too perfect, implying that something was churning underneath the serene surface, preparing to destroy the peace.
"Please, dear departed God, let me enjoy my normal and peaceful life," Rito prayed he put lunch down, just recently finished it.
"Yo, Rito! What's on your mind?"
Saruyama Kenichi, a good friend of Rito greeted as he approached Rito. Saruyama was infamous for his pervertness, a big difference to mellow and friendly Rito. Once, Rito was asked why he kept on associating himself with Saruyama and his answer was short and simple; "Why not?"
"Nothing..."
"Hoho... Are you planning on stalking Sairenji again?"
That comment made Rito choked on his spit before coughing out.
"Who the heck are you calling a stalker!?" Rito growled indignantly at his friend.
Saruyama laughed at his friend reaction. "Seriously though. If anyone else see what you did, they would call you a stalker too, you know," Saruyama rolled his eyes. Hard.
Rito casted his glance sideways. "Yeah... You know what?" Suddenly Rito changed his tone, surprising Saruyama at the change. Rito clenched his fist before continuing, "I'm going to ask her out today!"
Saruyama just looked at his friend, unimpressed.
"Again, huh?"
Rito flinched as he knew what Saruyama meant. Rito liked Sairenji Haruna, one of their classmate, for a long time. It was not the first time Rito claimed the same thing, and it was not he didn't try to confess, but...
Rito took a deep breathe as he approached Haruna, trying to pushing down his nerves. But, just before he could call out Haruna's name...
Rito immediately jumped backwards as a football zoomed pass him, likely to smash his head if he didn't dodged at the last second.
"Sorry!" a football player shouted our as he approaching Rito, clearly regretted his blunder. By the time Rito finally resolved the issue with the player, Haruna was already gone.
And then, there was...
Rito took a deep breathe as he approached Haruna, trying to pushing down his nerves. But, just before he could call out Haruna's name...
Rito immediately jumped backwards as a flower pot fell exactly where he was, out of nowhere. If he didn't dodged at the last second...
Yeah, let's not think about it...
However, within those time taken for Rito to gather his head from his possible death, Haruna was already gone.
Not to mention, there was a time that...
Rito took a deep breathe as he approached Haruna, trying to pushing down his nerves. But, just before he could call out Haruna's name...
Rito immediately jumped backwards as a truck suddenly smashed the wall where he was standing just now. 'Did I just almost got isekai'd?' Rito thought as people started to clamour the scene. Amidst the chaos, once again Rito lost Haruna.
Not to mention...
Once again, Rito stood tall, ready to finally asking Haruna out for a date (hopefully leading something more). His plan was destroyed however, when a herd of rampaging elephants stomped towards him. Irritated for disturbing his plan, Rito went on herd-to-man with the elephants.
By the time he dealt with them, Haruna was once again gone, leaving him with a group of zookeepers who grateful and sorry for Rito.
If someone was asked, they totally said the world was after him confessing to Haruna. But not Rito, because he was no quitter! He would finally asked Haruna out! After school today of course, as the class already started...
So right after class ended, Rito stood at the school gate, waiting for Haruna.
'There's she's coming!'
Rito took a deep breathe, gathering his gut as Haruna slowly became closer and closer.
'This is it Rito... Nothing can stop you now! Just call out her name and ask her out!' Rito shouted in his mind. Even so, he still looked out the surrounding to see anything will stop him yet again!
'Sairenji, I-I-I...'
"Eh?" Haruna looked up from her book. "Did someone just called out to me?" She wondered as she saw no one familiar or even paying attention to her around.
Meanwhile in the nearby bush, one Yuuki Rito could be seen, hiding from Haruna.
'I can't do it!'
In the end, even with nothing to get in his way, Rito once again failed to ask Haruna's out.
"I'm home..."
"Welcome home, Rito" his little sister, Mikan, who lounging in the living room greeted. "Tou-san said he'll be late again tonight.
"...Kay," Rito replied despondently before immediately retreated back to his bedroom. As he collapsed on his bed, Rito screamed out into his pillow. Then, his phone went off.
Seeing it from Saruyama, Rito answered the call and told his friend what had transpired.
Being a true friend he was, Saruyama laughed at his friend expense. "Gyahahahaha! I see, you failed again as I expected!"
"Don't say you were expecting, damn it."
"But seriously, usually the universe was against you from confessing," 'No, it not the universe, but something else' " but seeing you retreat by yourself seems out of character of you, though. Maybe you need to regain yourself and think about it again, I guess" Saruyama said before ending the call.
"I don't know..." Rito replied. 'It was like early today, it all seemed right but there was subtle sign of some negativity within. Maybe, just maybe, that was the bad thing will happen' Rito hoped.
Rito got up, then went for a bath, hopefully it could clear up his mind.
The boy let out a satisfied sigh as he lowered himself into the bathtub (after having a bath of course). "Damn you Saruyama... Laughing at me. It's not like you got a girlfriend or anything..." Rito grumbled.
"He got the point though. Why would I lost my confidence right there and then?" Rito wondered. "It's not like me at all to suddenly froze up and ran away like that."
While he wondered the 'out of character'-ness he had, an energy built up and crackled right in his bathtub.
"What the-!?" was the last thing Rito said before the energy finally exploded. Being caught off guard and being in a small confined space, Rito could not run from the blast.
Rito winced a bit even though the explosion surprisingly didn't cause any damage, then his eyes bulged.
"Escape successful!"
In front of him, a young girl, a beautiful one at that, with a long pink hair, appeared from the explosion. Maybe because they were at the bath, but Rito finally realised that she was naked, like him.
The girl then stretched out her hands and popping off her back, emphasising her already alluring figure. Finally, the girl noticed Rito being with her in the bathtub, "Ah, Hello!"
"Rito! What's happened there?" Mikan, who was relaxing on the couch ran to the bath after hearing the explosion sound from the bathroom. She knew about her brother's bad luck, and hoping nothing serious happened while he took a bath.
Before Mikan opened the bathroom door, Rito shouted from inside, "It's nothing! I just accidently put my phone speaker on the loudest volume when I'm watching the movie!"
Sighing in relief, Mikan returned back to the living room, before admonishing her brother. "Geez, don't make me work up that much, Rito. Knowing your luck, it's possible for our bath to suddenly explode while you are using it, you know?" she joked.
Rito took a glance at the pink-haired girl, whom he covered her mouth to prevent her from making any noise, laughed nervously at the joke.
After he was sure Mikan already in the living room, Rito immediately took the girl to his bedroom, after covering her with some spare towel. Making sure the girl made herself comfortable, Rito finally gathered his thought. "So... who are you? And why you suddenly appeared in my bath?"
"Me? I'm Lala," the girl, now named Lala answered.
"Lala?"
"Yup!" affirmed Lala. "I came from Planet Deviluke."
...
"Huh?" Rito exclaimed as her words finally registered. "You are saying you are an extraterrestrial, then?"
"Hmm? Well, I guess you can say that from your perspective as Earthling," Lala laughed at Rito's question.
Rito kept his gaze on Lala (respectfully, of course), seemed in disbelieved.
"Hmm? Do you not believe me?" Lala noticed the disbelieve in Rito. "Then, take a look at this," she said while lifted up the bottom of the towel, that already barely covered her body.
Seeing her action, Rito flabbergasted ,"Wait! Don't pull up your..." whatever his words were cut off as he noticed a long, thin, black tail that had a heart-shape end that came out directly above her supple and peachy butt.
"See? Earthling don't have these, right?" Lala said while wiggling her tail around, to show Rito the tail was indeed genuine, not a prop.
"Well... if I'm being honest..." mumbled Rito under his breathe but once again he was cut off by Lala.
"Ah, just because I have a tail it doesn't mean I transform during full moon phase, though."
"So, if you're really an alien, why did you appear in my bathtub all of a sudden?"
"That's because I used this," Lala raised up her left hand, showing off an elegant bracelet. "This! My invention 'Pyon-Pyon Warp-kun! I can't set a specific coordinate, but 'Pyon-Pyon Warp-kun can warp any single living unit for a short distance!"
"Warp? You mean this bracelet can let you to teleport?" Rito asked in amazement for the ability contained such a tiny gadget.
"Yup!" Lala confirmed. "I used this in my spaceship's bathroom and happened to warp into your bathtub."
"From your spaceship...?" Rito caught Lala's implication from her words. "Then, why did...?"
The energetic Lala turned sombre by the question. "... I'm being chased."
The admission alerted Rito, but Lala then continued, "I thought I would be safe if I came to Earth, but my pursuers have followed me here." By now, Lala's smile turned sad. "I was about to be taken on their ship, that's when I used the bracelet. If I didn't, I probably..."
'Pursuer?'
"Why did they..." once again, before Rito could finish his words, something cut him off.
"Lala-sama!"
Both Lala and Rito surprised by the voice, when suddenly a small... robot thing(?) flew through the window.
The small robot was completely white. The robot had a round head with two thick swirl shaped black eyes and had no visible mouth or nose. It also seemed like it wore a white jacket with yellow edges with a blue shirt and red tie in-between. It also had devil-like wings on it's back.
"Lala-sama! Are you alright?"
As Lala recognised the toy-like robot, her previously sombre mood turn 180. "Peke!"
Lala embraced the robot, now named Peke, while laughing happily. "Oh, I'm so happy you got to escape safely!"
Peke now realised Rito's existence. "Lala-sama, who's this dull looking Earthling?"
'Dull?' Rito twitched.
"He's the one who lives here," Lala replied to Peke question, without retorting on Peke's comment about Rito. 'Oi, at least admonishes her a bit for the dull comment!?'
"Oh, I just realised, I haven't asked for your name yet."
"Me?" Rito just realised the same thing. "I'm Rito."
"Oh~ Rito, huh? This one here is Peke," Lala introduced her robot to Rito. "She is 'All-Purpose Costume Robot' that I made."
"Nice to meet you," Peke greeted.
"Wait, costume robot?" Rito asked as the name was too specific. But, instead of getting an answer, he was greeted by a flying towel, that suspiciously seemed very similar that Lala wore...
...Wait a second!
"Oi, Lala! Why did you take off your towel?"
"Alright, Peke! I'll leave it to you!" Lala gave her order to Peke, which Peke affirmed; "Change: Dress Form!"
As soon as Peke exclaimed those words, she emitted a bright light as she transformed into a set of clothes that cladded on Lala's body. In the simplest term, she just transformed into a clothing that resembled larger version herself. As embarrassing the costume was, it suited Lala very well.
'Well, that explains the costume robot part, I guess?'
"Is it too tight, Lala-sama?"
"Nope, it's perfect," Lala replied as she checked her outfit. "I'm glad you came so quickly! Without you, I have no clothes to wear."
"What do you think, Rito? Is it nice?"
Rito took a look at Lala's form altogether. "Well, yeah... I guess?"
Lala seemed proud of herself at the praise(?) when Peke asked, "By the way Lala-sama, what do you plan to do now?"
"Well, about that-" Lala smirked victoriously, "I already have a few ideas."
!?
Rito suddenly pulled Lala and put her behind of him. "Eh, Rito-?"
Out of nowhere, two men appeared. Both of them were a bit taller than Rito and they wore a matching black suits and black sunglasses.
'Two of them, unknown capabilities, but must be quite high that they could enter into my room without alerting any mundane human around.' Rito analysed the uninvited guests (aside from Lala and Peke) as their focused soley on Lala, casting him completely aside.
It was then Rito realised both of them also had the tail not unlike Lala's, but the end was diamond-shaped instead of spade-shaped like Lala. 'Same species?'
"...My goodness, what a troublesome Lady," one of them, the blonde one, finally said after a while. "We should've restricted your movement even it meant we had to tie your hands and feet until we left this planet..."
"..." Lala frowned as she looked at the intruders. "Peke..."
Sensing the anger in her creator's voice, Peke yelped in fear.
"Didn't I told you to be careful about people following you?"
"...Yes," Peke replied dejectedly.
"Geez, you stupid robot! Now everything just went down the drain!" complained Lala at Peke's blunder. "I'm sorry!"
"Are you done, now?" the black-haired one asked as both of them slowly approaching Lala.
"Lala-sama, why don't you use the bracelet again to escape from here?" Peke asked Lala.
"I can't," Lala grimaced. "After each usage, 'Pyon-Pyon Warp-kun' takes a whole day to recharge."
The blonde one reached out to Lala, "Now..."
'I got no choice!'
""!?""
Suddenly, both pursuers tumbled down, surprising every extraterrestrials. Rito grabbed Lala's hand and sprang out the window, landing on the neighbour's roof, attempting to flee the house. "Come on! This way!"
"Oi, kid! Wait!"
As she was dragged by surprisingly Rito's strong grip, Lala asked "Rito... Why?"
"I don't know!" Rito claimed. "But, a certain senpai of mine once said! 'Man's rule number 1! We, men, must protect the girls no matter what!' And as someone who look up to that senpai, I won't let him down!"
"So, if there was a girl about to be kidnapped right in front of my eyes..." Rito snapped his attention to the girl whom he just met, "There's no way I stay quiet and let it happen!"
Surprised by the declaration, Lala stunned by Rito's resolve.
Unnoticed by both of them, a pair of dog and it's owner saw the whole ordeal.
Haruna, who was on a walk with her dog, Marron, noticed both Rito and Lala ran through the roofs.
"Yu...Yuuki-kun?"
Rito soon realised that he could not keep on running on the roofs forever, he leapt down and continued running through the streets. He took a glance backwards to check the whereabout of the pursuers. Nobody was following them, but Rito knew people like those guys won't gave up easily...
"UHOOOOOOOOOOAHHH!"
...And one of them just threw a massive truck from above. "Do not interfere, Earthling."
'They just blocked the way out with the truck, and pinch us from behind, huh? Basic but effective.'
"...Lala-sama," the blonde one started.
...Wait a second. Did he just refer Lala as -sama?
"Please stop trying to run away from home!" begged him.
Lala glared at the pursuers(?) before declaring, "No! I'm not going home!"
Rito grinned at the Lala's conviction. "Yeah! Do you hear that? She doesn't want to!"
...
"Wait, what?... Did they said run away from home?" Rito whispered to Lala when he realised the phrasing used by the pursuers(?)
Lala huffed before replying, "I've had enough! I don't care about being successors! I'm tired of meeting future husband candidates every day!"
...She really let everything out of her system, huh?
"But, Lala-sama..."
"This is your father's will."
"I don't care what Papa said!" Lala took out a cellphone-like device from god-know-where. She then hit a few button, causing a bright light emitted from the screen.
"Transmit! Go Vacuum-kun!"
From the device, a giant robotic octopus was summoned.
'A beautiful girl and an octopus... Where did I heard about it before...?'
"Crap! It's one of Lala-sama's inventions!" For some reason, both of the pursuers now frightened as they saw the robot, immediately took off.
"Alright, Go Vacuum-kun! Suck them up!" Lala ordered the robot, pointing towards the now retreating former pursuers.
The robot was then activated, sucking everything in front of it into it's mouth, including the two Devilukeans who tried their best but failed to escaped.
As he watched the robot went off, Rito awed at the robot's capabilities. "Such a strong suction..."
The awe slowly turned into worry when he realised the robot suction power gradually increased. It continued to suck everything, including trees, fences, floorings, everything.
"Uhhh... Lala. I think you can turn it off now!" Rito shouted as he saw how powerful the suction power had become. "It's going to suck the entire park at this rate! Hurry and stop it!"
Instead of stopping her gadget, Lala cupped her chin and humming in deep thought.
Realising the odd of her master, Peke asked, "What's the matter, Lala-sama?"
"How do I turn off Go Vacuum-kun, again?" Lala wondered.
"Wha... YOU FORGOT!?" Rito shouted in disbelieved. His disbelieved caused his footing finally slipped, causing he was lifted up, being sucked by the robot.
'No other choice.'
"Oi, Lala! I hope you don't mind if this thing destroyed!" Rito shouted to Lala, but never intending on hearing on her answer, as he already decided.
'GET REKT!'
Out of the sudden, a spark burst out from the octopus robot, before exploding into pieces.
"Huh?" Lala surprised when Go Vacuum-kun suddenly exploded out of nowhere. She was the creator of the gadget, so she knew how tough her gadgets, any of them really. Given, many of her gadgets more than not would exploded, but only if there was any external variables. 'Then, how...?' wondered Lala.
No longer being sucked, Rito, and everything else really, finally let go. Rito let out the sigh, relieved no longer being in immediate peril.
"Hahaha... Sorry, sorry. It's been a long time since I used Go Vacuum-kun, so I forgot how to turn it off," Lala nervously laughed as she scratched the back of her head.
"But, thank you, Rito," Lala thanked Rito earnestly. "It's making me happy when you saved me."
After that, Lala went by herself, stating she had to settle somethings on her end.
Later that morning, Rito grimaced as he walked to the school, remembering the previous night incident. A night full of unexpected adventure and actions, followed by the day of normal school life was something that Rito regrettably became too familiar to him by now.
"Thank goodness, she didn't use that octopus inside if my room... the thing would go off even worse," Rito grumbled, feeling relief for the most worst possible outcome was averted from the very beginning.
"Good morning, Yuuki-kun."
Rito stopped his tracks, and gawked at the sight Haruna approaching him. "Ah.. Good morning."
"Rito!" A sudden shouting voice called out his name. Rito and Haruna turned to their side and saw the pink-haired girl running up to them.
The pink-haired alien girl then crashed into Rito in a blink, sending him off the ground and started to cradle him.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"
"H-Huh?" Rito looked at Haruna in confusion before held onto Lala's shoulders. "What are you thanking me for?"
"I've decided," Lala said, finally let Rito go. "We are going to marry!"

"Pardon?"
"Huh!?"

Hello everyone, once again I would like to thank you for reading this series, and if you guys have any constructive comments please say so!
I'm really sorry for not updating my Oregairu x Kamen Rider series, but as I said before my progress was completely lost after being hacked. So, to distract myself from the feeling of damnation upon losing the progress (iirc the chapter was almost done, though), I decide to write another story.
Yeah, even I myself don't know how my brain works. Don't worry about it.
So, why Highschool DxD and To Love Ru? Well to be honest it was a surprised for me for not doing this earlier, because Highschool DxD, To Love Ru, Mahou Sensei Negima, Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance and Campione were the things of my secondary school life. Those series were the ones who carried me on through my teenage life and without them, there was no current me.
So, expect my future series might be amongst those series.
Now, we are going to have a bit discussion about THIS series.
First of all, I'm sorry for the story being written mostly in dialogues. You see, I'm referring to the manga while writing, and for some reason there was a lot of dialogues so... yeah
"Author, you said this is To Love Ru x Highschool DxD but where the DxD elements?"
Well dear readers, I actually put a little bit of references in this chapter and I even had Rito used his abilities in this chapter. If you get it, good. If not, then wait for future update to see what am I cooking here.
But I have a question about the future of this series, though and I hope you can give me some opinion on how to proceed.
We know the amount of 'skin exposure' in Highschool DxD and how blatant the 'foreplay' being shown in public in To Love Ru, especially in the later parts.
So the question is, ho should I proceed? By making it quite tame, just put the echi scene here and there, or I should stick to the canon amount of fanservices, or should I go beyond the limit and have the character doing the deeds (not showing though, because I don't know and not comfortable writing lemon, so it should be mentioned and implied)
