Kanji Tatsumi 19/01

The shadow in this arena isn't saying anything you didn't hear from the last one.

The difference between that shadow and now, is how much more comfortable you are with your true self. Back then you were insecure about how little you fit the image and attitude of a Japanese man. So you acted out. Dyed your hair. Tried to make yourself something else. And it just made you lonely and miserable.

You like sewing, and baking, and just creating overall. Your mother taught you her skills, at first to teach you how to calm down, and you were enthralled for hours. It didn't get the exact result she wanted at first, but she was happy to teach you more. And now you are the one who learns new techniques and teach them to her.

Creation is a good thing. You know it now, and have it confirmed by your friends. They like you for who you are. And the understanding has grown from when they first met you. You like to think it will continue to deepen in time, that it will be a bond hard broken. You are no longer lonely and miserable.

That is the difference between last time and now.

You no longer have any desire to try to be anyone but yourself.

The shadow does not stand a chance.
