You don't really care about most things in life. You just sort of do them because they're expected. You sleep. You go to parties and hang around bored until you end up drinking and the parties become fun. You become a cop for a lack of any other plans, and because it's expected of you. Also, that you get to legally carry a gun, or so you tell friends. Your father was a cop. Ergo, you too will be a cop. It's easy to get in on connections. They only really care about your grades, so that's all you try to care about too.

You go do cop stuff and feel the connection you had with your old friends slip away as they spend more and more time in the office amongst coworkers. And that's life you suppose, feeling oddly resigned by the mundanity of everything.

You're not talented. You have hobbies that you let die, because hobbies don't keep you fed. You worked hard in school, and it got you nowhere but onto a botched job that gets you kicked to Nowheresville, where you live off of cabbages because you can't afford anything better on these stupid cheepass wages.

When they said that hard work would get you places in life, they really oversold the places it would get you.

Inaba is boring. Reality is boring. It's all boring. And not even TV can help you escape your head. You get up to smash it, stopping at the last moment. After all, this expensive TV is the reason you are eating cabbage rolls, it would be stupid to break it that casually.

You pat its screen only for your hand to go through the TV. Not through the glass, but the TV itself.

Finally, something is happening! You follow it in to find a world you couldn't have imagined.

This is ludicrous! Fantastic! Insane! No one would believe this. No one would believe this!

So what do you want to do with it?
