I do not own Criminal Minds or its characters, including Theo. I do own Jackie, Lucas, Jo, PJ, and Dexter.

Graphic Warning: Viewer Discretion Advised

Also, I've left an important message at the end of this chapter. It's vital that you read it!

Dexter loved that his part of this job as part of the BAU involved staying in his own den at the headquarters. He was given more technology than ever, got to just hang in one place and he wasn't needed in the field. Not to mention, he could sit back and snack on Cheetos anytime he wanted without anyone to bother him. He loved being a tech analysis.

The best plus side to this was that Jackie wasn't around to bug him. He could not stand her annoying jokes or pranks on him while he was busy at work. Not that he was never satisfied when she fell for the classic pranks he pulled on her. He just always hated being the back end of hers. He was still shocked that she hadn't done anything to him since the explosive powder trick he did to her awhile back. Guess she was more focused on getting their first case taken down at the moment. At least he could let his guard down for a bit. Until she and the others got back, that is.

The only downsize was that since he wasn't in the field, he didn't know what to look for or research about. At least not until someone from the team called him to request that he used his skills to search for an answer. No matter. He was prepared to get into action as soon as someone requested for his assistance.

Suddenly, he got a buzz on his phone from Jo. Time to get to work. "Give me something" he said when he answered.

"Logan" Jo told him. "The department here has a list of names of possible suspects from the previous murders. Sending them to you now. I'll need you to run a background check on all of them. See if anything suspicious pops up."

"By anything, do you mean thoughts of killing others?" He couldn't help but make a joke.

He could hear her groaning. "Get realistic, Logan. Serial killers usually have a history of violent behavior, disciplinary issues at school, animal abuse or a list of violations from the law."

"I'll get right to that now."

"Also" he heard Theo add. "Shepherd thinks that this unsub could be a hunter. So we'll also need you to do a quick search about this town's hunting experience."

The moment he was told what to do, Dexter did so. Using his master computer and tech skills, he searched Gracetown's known hunting facts. And boy, did he find a lot of good stuff. There was everything about hunting that the place had. There were quite a few stores that sold hunting tools, areas where people could pay to hunt at, and even a few classes that taught hunting.

"Think it's going to be hard to narrow one person from Gracetown that has hunting experience" he told them. "This place is practically based on hunting. Almost everyone has some sort of hunting knowledge. There are several places that are based on hunting. Even one place that allows you to pay to shoot the animals they have. Which, I find highly cruel." He wasn't as big as of an animal lover as Jackie was. But he hated the thought of animals being used to be killed just for the enjoyment of inconsiderate humans.

"Focus, Logan!" Theo called out. "Start with looking at the backgrounds of all the previous suspects to see if any of them were hunters. This unsub also has to have more experience about hunting than some. Cross-reference those that have at least five or more years of hunting."

"We'll get back to you if we have anymore info to add" Jo added before hanging up. Well, guess he wouldn't be getting any polite goodbyes from them anytime soon.

Dexter rolled his eyes. Looks like he had his work cut out. He hoped that when this was all over, his friends would be very appreciative of all the hard work he put into this. Didn't they know that it was not easy to find the right information that pointed out to a single bad person. If only the rest of the team understood how vital his work was to the whole investigation. But who cares? All they were focus on was finding this bad guy. So, he went right to work with doing background checks and information crossing. At least he thought of himself as useful.

Once again, I mean no disrespect towards any of you who are hunters. I don't like it but I understand the reasons people do it.

P.S. I've been discussing the man who tortured a wolf cub in Wyoming. Now, I want to take a moment to tell you all about someone who is just as much as a monster as him. She happens to be the aunt of the monstrous man in fact. For not only was she working at the bar where the crime took place and sat back and watched as the animal was being abused, she enjoyed it. So much that she posted a photo of herself wearing the poor creature's pelt and liking it. How could anyone find it amusing to wear the skin of a baby animal that had been killed in the most horrific way? And worse, she said that the animal deserved to be tortured just because she doesn't like wolves. It's no wonder her nephew is a monster. Because he comes from a family filled with monsters. Anyone who says that wolves are villains by nature has never even encountered a wolf. Even if wolves are not likable to some people, that doesn't give anyone the right to torcher one the way that man did, let alone a cub that never had the chance to live a real life. There are no excuses for what that man has done and none for what his aunt has done. If there was a way, she deserves to be punished just as much as her nephew. But since she's done nothing but be a nasty old woman, right now, all animal lovers need to focus on bringing justice towards that wolf cub. And that means going after the man who harmed her and ended her life far too soon. I will say this though, if that despicable woman is reading this, then here is what I want you to know. "You have no right to defend your nephew for his cruelty towards such a beautiful creature. He's vile, abusive and a sad excuse for a human being. And you're just pathetic. How would you know the real reasons why wolves would go after livestock? You're no wildlife expect. Haven't you've ever considered that some wolves might go after livestock because humans have scared away their natural prey or that we've taken away their territory? The only reason you say that wolves are evil by nature is just because they're predators. Don't you know that we humans are predators too? We kill other living things just as wolves do. The only difference is that some of us kill for the pleasure of it, just like you and your nephew do. And don't you try to tell me that I'm only saying this because I'm just a city person. I'm saying this because I'm an animal lover, which apparently you're not. People like you and your nephew are the reason why I continue to speak up for other living creatures. And I plan on fighting for justice against your nephew until he pays for his mistreatment against the wolf cub he needlessly abused. What do you say to that?"
