Vanessa came to know the Silva Palace very well at this point. It was just as easy to get lost in it as like the Black Bulls base, but at least the rooms didn't change places. Plus, there were a lot of paintings, especially portraits of many Silva ancestors, including the names. All you needed to do is to learn some of those names by heart and know which room in the palace they were the closest to.
Today, Vanessa knew that nearby the library of the Silva Palace were the portraits of Anabel Silva and Isabel Silva. Twins apparently, completely alike with their silver hair, braided as crown in ancient styles, the pale pink eyes and the long eyelashes. Only difference was that Anabel was wearing an ice blue empire dress, while Isabel had a jade green empire dress. Oh, and Anabel had a sad, resigned glimmer in her eyes, while Isabel was more happy, but also concerned. Maybe for her twin sister?
Looking at all those Silva ancestors, Vanessa sometimes wondered what their story could be, what happened in their life, if they had hopes, wishes and heartbreaks. Maybe a lot of tragedy, there had to be a reason why there was only four Silvas left today.
In any case, if she could find Anabel and Isabel, Vanessa would knew that she was near the Silva Library. Nozel had to be there.
Hopefully was he alright. They hadn't left each other on the best terms a few hours ago and Vanessa regret that she had left quickly, without letting Nozel a chance to explain. Especially that after a talk with Finral, she realized that it had been so terribly unimportant and silly. And certainly Nozel had been about to apologize immediately.
If there was something Vanessa hated to do, it was to go to sleep on an argument. Especially with her boyfriend. So, after putting the night shift onto Magna – who apparently wanted to accompany captain Yami for a gamble night – she took her broom and flew to the Silva Palace. Thank goodness that it was easy for her to get it. Nozel not only did gave her second keys of his balcony and his bedroom door, but also showed her some hidden entrances to the palace and in any case, she befriended most of the servants. It was always a piece of cake to sneak in.
Good, now those Silva ancestors. A man named Meer Silva, a young lady with the pretty name Isadora Silva, a very old lady with the youthful name Sunny Silva… Still no Isabel and Anabel.
No, wrong, here there were! And with them, the door to the Silva Library.
"Goal reached," Vanessa whispered with satisfaction, before she opened said door. The library was calm, of course no one was there late in the evening. But there was a light between the bookshelves. She locked the door behind her.
Vanessa just knew that Nozel was there. Just in case, she locked the door behind her.
The Silva Library was a bit like a labyrinth, but one of the cosiest places Vanessa ever knew. No wonder Noelle complained about the "library" at the Black Bull base, when she grow up with this wonderful place. In fact, Vanessa had to agree with their princess, the library of the Black Bulls didn't deserve that definition. For once, this was something the Silvas did better. Still a rarity, but important enough to notice.
She saw Nozel sitting at one of his usual tables, hidden in a comfy reading nook between three or four bookshelves. He didn't noticed her, as he seemed very concentrating on his current writing. There were a few papers on the floor, ruffled into balls. Knowing Nozel and his habit to try to do anything perfectly, Vanessa suspected that he was pretty desperate right now.
Curious, she took two papers and was completely taken aback by what she read. The first one was the beginning of an apology letter, the second one some kind of poem. Corny, but well written and so touching.
Vanessa couldn't help but look at Nozel with affection. Was he really trying to apologize to her, did he feel that bad? He didn't need to do it, but it still meant a lot for her. Gosh, how much she loved that man.
There had been a time when he would have accepted to never be forgiven, that happiness was something he should never have, that he was never loved and that because of all of that, any of his apologies wouldn't mean anything to anyone. The fact that he tried to apologize the very same day and put his heart into it showed so much of his growth. Especially since he also tried to write a poem in the process.
Which wasn't a surprise, he was rather good with words and loved poetry. Something you can only learn when you get to know him better.
Of course their little disagreement earlier today upset him a lot. Knowing Nozel, he probably made a big deal about it, bigger than it was. So typical, but Vanessa wasn't surprised about it. After the mistakes he did in the past and after believing for so long he didn't deserve any kind of happiness, he was always kinda desperate to do things right.
And this damn habit to put every blame on himself, even when it wasn't his fault. It wasn't as bad as at the start of their relationship, but there was still a lot of work in progress. Vanessa didn't mind. This was who Nozel was, the real Nozel, not the cold mask, and she came to love every part of him so deeply. Oh, he wasn't perfect, but it made him even more lovable in her eyes.
Besides, she was a Black Bull and all of them were already imperfect, she was used to it. Not to mention that imperfection wasn't a Black Bull privilege, she was rather happy to find it within the man she wanted to spent the rest of her life with.
Nozel was still writing and sometimes he stopped as if he was searching for a word, before he continued to write. Oh, he certainly tried to write her a poem again as an apology. This was so adorable!
But well, as endearing as it was to observe him like this, this wasn't why Vanessa came here today.
"Hi there, handsome eagle."
Nozel flinched heavily, almost dropping his quill. Vanessa couldn't help but chuckle. Does he realize how cute he was when he was taken off guard? Or when she called him handsome eagle? Well, he was handsome and captain of the Silver Eagles, after all.
"Vanessa? I didn't know you would come today, after…"
Oh no, he was looking so guilty again. His damn guilt issues, she had to stop him before it would overwhelm him again.
"Come on, handsome. You know how I hate going to sleep on an argument, especially with my royal boyfriend."
"But you were right, I'm so sorry, I wasn't really paying attention to you, and-"
"I stop you right there, honey. We both made mistakes. You weren't paying that much attention, yes. But you did say that you needed to finish your paperwork first. I could have done like always, sitting in a corner and observe my handsome boyfriend until he was finished. After all, I know how much your squad means to you and how many times you exhaust yourself for the Silver Eagles. It just that I was in foul mood, so I wasn't patient and I let it out on you. I'm sorry, I didn't meant what I said earlier today. Not to mention that you were ready to apologize immediately, I should have waited."
"Since you were in a foul mood because of me, it was pretty normal that you needed some time for yourself."
"Honey, I wasn't in foul mood because of you, stop thinking that you're responsible for every bad thing. No, I was upset at Magna because he dared to say that me dating a royal didn't gave me any right to talk about romance and also at captain Yami because he was dense again with Charlotte over something stupidly obvious. You know the deal."
Nozel sighed deeply. Of course he knew. As a captain, he witnessed first-hand the sexual tension between Yami and Charlotte at every captains meeting. One of Vanessas favourite conversation topics and Nozel being a kind boyfriend, always listened to her rants. Even more so since they were both sometimes rather frustrated how things just didn't advance between Yami and Charlotte.
"Vanessa, what were we disagreeing about earlier today?"
"Oh, honey, you can't remember? A good listener like you?"
"I…"
"I'm teasing you, I can't remember it either. You see how stupid it was if we can't even recall it what it was about."
Nozel chuckled, a melody in Vanessas eyes. He didn't laugh often – no wonder with how his life went since his beloved mother died – but it made it even more precious and it was one of her favourite sounds in the world.
He stood up and started to gather all the paper that were on the floor. Vanessa immediately jumped to help him.
"As much as it touches me that you write poetry in my honour, you really didn't need to do that to apologize."
"I know. But I'm not good with apologies and writing is at least something I can do for it in a way."
"Even if Yami teases you about it?"
"There is nothing wrong with loving poetry, he just loves to mock me."
"He does that with everyone. And I have to say, he doesn't teases you that often about poetry since you challenged him to write some. It was rather humbling for him. Oh, he did try, but you were better."
Nozel blushed at the memory. "Don't remind me that. It was so… childish of me to challenge him. I'm still surprised he didn't try to take revenge because I had won."
"Like I said, it was humbling for Yami and more importantly, in a way it was proof enough for him that you are more than serious about me and our relationship. Not to mention that somehow it made Asta interested in poetry and eager enough to try. The books about poetry for amateurs you gave him made him really happy and while he is not a good poet yet, he doesn't give up in any way. Plus his silly poems about tatoes or workout are at least very funny."
"It would be good if he could write poems about my sister, if only he stops being dense."
Vanessa chuckled again. Oh, he didn't like to show it, but Nozel came to like Asta a bit. Otherwise he wouldn't have supported his new passion for poetry, something that raises Astas esteem for Nozel onto a high level.
And since Noelle accidentally blurted out to him about her crush for Asta, even though he was a bit a classic overprotective older brother about the whole topic, the happiness of his baby sister was more important to him and so, Noelle had his support. Too bad that Asta was still dense.
Well, Nozel was dating a witch, it certainly helped him to be more open about Noelle being in love with a magicless peasant.
Nozel sat back at the table once all of the papers were more or less in order and Vanessa sat on his lap. After all, she didn't only came to see him just to apologize and leave. And she knew one kind of reconciliation that was loved by both of them…
"I'm glad you're here," Nozel whispered, his forehead resting on her shoulder. The relief in his voice was soft, but so obvious. He must feel like a burden must be taken from his shoulders.
Why was he always burdening himself so much? Taking more responsibility than needed upon his shoulders? Vanessa wondered sometimes if Nozel was just used to do it… since the death of Acier Silva and the moment he had to be an adult at just fifteen. Maybe it was still somewhat second nature for him.
"Of course I am. We agreed to never go to sleep on a fight as much as we could, remember? And I clearly didn't have enough of my favourite eagle for today."
Nozel chuckled, which filled Vanessa with joy. His laugh was one of her favourite sounds in the world, she even preferred it over the sound of wine being filled in a glass.
Vanessa couldn't help but put her lips on his neck, leaving a soft kiss first, but then she decided to work on the spot as Nozel let out a breathy groan. Oh, he was eager, even though he maybe still not realize it yet.
She knew that her boyfriend was a closeted perv. But also a gentleman.
The best sensual mix in her books.
"Vanessa…"
"Hm?"
"We're in the library…"
Vanessa couldn't help but giggle as she worked on her hickey. Nozel didn't really sounded like it was a problem, but more like a formality to point out. Must be a bit an instinct of his. Besides, it wouldn't be the only time they would have sex in the library. Vanessa even found it really exciting.
"It won't the first time for us to have sex in the library. Plus, you love this place and I love it as well thanks to my handsome captain eagle here. And I NEED reconciliation sex right now. Pretty please? You can even read me one of your favourite novels afterwards if you want. But sexy times first."
She made the puppy eyes, as she knew that Nozel couldn't resist them. And the amused, resigned sigh he let out was the sign that she had won.
Puppy eyes were such a perfect trick. Vanessa had tried to convince Noelle to do puppy eyes to her brother, but that sweet girl reacted as if it was the most horrendous manipulation to do on her big brother instead of the harmless trick it really was.
Maybe it was still too early for the siblings? Vanessa just thought that Noelle would look cute with puppy eyes and Nozel was already in his phase where he couldn't refuse anything to his baby sister, so puppy eyes? He would surpass himself to make Noelles wishes come true.
Nozel slowly left his hands and pulled the Black Bull robe from her, leaving Vanessa shoulder-free and with a great view on her deep décolleté.
She felt his glance on her boobs, which made giggle. "I thought you were a thigh man, honey. But you seem also into my chest…"
"I love everything of you… And there's nothing here I haven't seen already."
"Are you sure, handsome eagle?"
She was teasing him. Vanessa already felt that they started their foreplay. It came so natural to them to start it, that often they wouldn't realize completely. Especially Nozel.
Even now, while she left his lap and started to walk away seductively, Nozel still stared at her, mesmerized and also a tiny bit confused. Oh, he was such a cutie pie with that kind of look on his face.
"How about you come to me and check out if there is something new on me for you to discover… captain," Vanessa whispered in a very seductive voice.
Captain… This was such a magic word when it came to their embraces. Like right now, something made click in Nozels mind and he stood up immediately, a whole different look in his eyes, which seemed darker due to his now open lust and desire. Ah, of course he desired her already, but Vanessa always had to push him a bit first before he gave in and openly was showing it.
Time to run away, to tease him more. Vanessa adored to tease Nozel, it didn't matter if it was innocent or sensual. He was so easy to tease, she barely missed an occasion to do so.
"Vanessa…"
This was a groan. Oh, she loved that side of him.
Vanessa laughed as she started to run through the library. It was such a great place to play hide and seek, with those many book shelves, those cosy reading nooks, hidden or not, those tables, windows, couches and armchairs, even the carpets and the three fireplaces. Heck, even a dumbwaiter that could bring food and drinks from the kitchen without the servants needing to bring it here personally. So many places to read, to feel comfortable, to dream and learn, to spend a good time.
So many places where they could love each other body and soul.
She casually dropped her witch hat before disappearing behind a book shelve. There, Vanessa stopped and dared to take a peek on Nozel. Her boyfriend stopped to take the hat from the floor and actually sniffed it, as if it was some kind of rare perfume.
"Honey, if you want more of my scent, there is more on yours truly than on the hat."
"Then stop running," Nozel replied, his voice low and needy.
"Nope, really can't. You have to deserve our embrace first, just like me."
With that, Vanessa ran again. She heard Nozel letting out a frustrated sigh before running after her. Oh, he was so eager already. Good thing that he wasn't too embarrassed today. Writing poetry while agonizing of some kind of apology must have taken a lot of his energy to hold back.
This was good, Vanessa wasn't certain if she had a lot of patience today before they would get to the main part.
She knew Nozel left her hat where it was. It wouldn't be the first time they would have to gather their clothes through the whole library. Vanessa didn't care. On the contrary, this was one of the reasons why she loved having sex in the library.
The Silva Library of course. The Black Bulls archive room or library was a bit too much of a safety hazard when you weren't Luck.
Vanessa took another turn around book shelves when Nozel was suddenly in front of her, wrapping his arms around her waist and pushing her against one of the shelves. She couldn't help but giggle as she looked a bit to the side. The section with the horror and spooky novels. The common guilty pleasure of Nebra and Noelle. Let's hope that the Silva sisters wouldn't need a new one to read today.
"No fair, handsome, you took a shortcut."
"Says the one teasing me all the time. You shouldn't complain about fairness."
"Couldn't you just let me run a bit longer? I only got rid of my- Hm, hm!"
This was truly the best way to get shut up.
The kiss was hungry, passionate. Nozel didn't even waited for permission this time, his tongue entered her mouth quickly, making her moan with desire. Holy witch hat, she loved his eager side! Screw that, she loved everything about him.
While they made out, they started to get rid of the other's clothes. Vanessa managed to get rid of the golden chocker while Nozel slowly pulled her garter belt and her panties from her. All that while their lips never left each other. Vanessa found that they were both rather good at this game.
She pouted as Nozels lips left hers, but gasped as they started to wander across her jawline, pausing above her pulse, leaving a hickey on her neck… Vanessa gripped his shoulders, savouring this sultry touch, while Nozel lift her up, pushing her again against the books. Vanessa barely heard as one or two spooky novels probably fell on the ground.
As Nozel started to tug on his pants, rubbing something specific between her legs, Vanessa decided that it was time for some more teasing. Kissing him so hard that he took some step backwards by surprise, Vanessa broke free from his grasp and danced away again, after taking her boots of.
"Really, Vanessa…"
His voice was a frustrated groan. Oh, he might take her in a rough way today. Not that Vanessa mind, she loved it when he was slow and also when he was rough.
"Catch me soon, captain! I'm not very patient either today."
And she ran again, while trying to get rid of her skirt. Which wasn't easy when the heart was beating so wildly out of eagerness.
Vanessa reached the section with the history books, another favourite place of Nozel in this library, when she finally got rid of it. And as she saw how Nozel appeared from behind another book shelve, Vanessa took her bra of and throw it at him, before running away in the opposite direction.
This was so much fun!
She was now completely naked, as she wasn't one to wear much clothing anyway. Now, she was searching for today's perfect spot to make love with her handsome royal boyfriend. Well, she had a lot of choice in this library.
After some running and seductive teasing yelled at Nozel, Vanessa finally decided for a cosy reading nook, perfectly hidden between two or three bookshelves. It was small but sweet, with a small table, a carpet, one armchair and a large windowsill couch, covered with cushions and some folded blankets, under a window with stained glass.
Perfect for a reconciliation sex. She even already almost forgot that they had a small fight today.
She sat in the armchair with a seductive pose, waiting for the captain of the Silver Eagles to join her. Which he did not a minute after. He also got rid of most of his clothes on the way here, only his shorts were still on. Vanessa licked her lips as she observed his muscles, remembering how many times she had felt them against her. Nozel might not be buff, but he was quite the sight still.
Her eyes fell on his feet and she couldn't help but grin. While Nozel claimed that socks were staying on during sex, he didn't wear them often himself, since he mostly wore sandals. A funny mystery Vanessa had yet to unveil one day.
She felt his appreciating glance over her and couldn't help but blush. Oh, she knew that Nozel loved what he saw, but it was still a wonderful feeling to know that he more than appreciated seeing her, in more ways than one.
As a Black Bull, a misfit for many, it truly felt amazing to be an appreciated sight.
"Don't just stay here, captain, we're not here to look at each other, as much of treat it is."
Captain, the magic word again. Nozel came closer, kneeled in front of her and started to pepper soft kisses on her thigh. Vanessa closed her eyes, enjoying the butterfly touches. How soft and wild this man could be, but always a gentleman.
In those moments, Vanessa found herself the luckiest girl in the world to be loved by Nozel Silva, captain of the Silver Eagles…
Nozels lips travelled across her leg, so slowly that it made Vanessa even more eager. Reaching the knee, he slightly held her leg up, peppering kisses until he reached her ankle, where his lips remained, while his free hand wandered up her other leg.
He then let go of her leg and now concentrated on the famous spot between her legs.
"Nozel!"
He satisfied her so quickly that Vanessa was completely overwhelmed by the wave coming over her. Was he impatient? Or was she already so eager? Or maybe it was both… In any case, she couldn't wait to finally be one with him.
She couldn't think further as Nozel now crashed his lips on hers, pulling Vanessa into a lustful, passionate kiss. One of her hands went through his thick and silky hair as she kissed him back, while the other tugged on his boxers. He was still wearing too much for her licking, she preferred him bare.
It wasn't an easy task, as their lips were still sealed and Nozels fingers were rather distractive as they caressed between her legs or over her boobs. A muffled moan escaped her lips as she couldn't get rid of his shorts.
The kiss broke, much to her dismay.
"Alright, I get rid of them immediately," Nozel laughed – laughed, he dare to laugh! – as he easily got out of his boxers.
"Hey, I wanted to do that… Hmpf!"
Her protest died out as their lips crashed into each other again and Nozel pulled her up from the armchair, carrying her. The kiss broke as she felt wood and books against her back. They were now against a bookshelf.
"Handsome, you are more eager than what I thought."
"We had a fight today. Which means that I need you more than I already do…"
There was more than just lust and eagerness in his voice. There was something deeper still, almost like an old wound that only recently started to heal.
And Vanessa knew exactly what it was…
Their fight today was truly nothing big, they couldn't even remember it correctly. But Nozel only started recently to heal, to finally move on from his trauma and his overwhelming guilt issues. After years in darkness, it was no surprise that some things were still difficult for him. He was on the best way and he was more accepting of self-love.
He wasn't there yet, but he would be one day.
And Vanessa promised herself to be there on each of his steps.
She kissed him again, more softly this time, but with no less passion. Nozel hold her so firmly that she barely took any attention to the fact that the only sturdy things she could currently feel were his body and the bookshelf against her back.
The kiss remained as Nozel finally entered her.
He was slow at first, slowly moving, just enough to not make the fire disappear without giving more fuel yet. His face was in the crook of her neck, she could feel the Silva symbol against her skin. Her arms were around his neck and her fingers in his hair. The slow pace was endearing…
"I'm all yours, captain…"
Nozel groaned and suddenly, his thrust into her were getting rougher, faster. A moan escaped her lips. His hips rocked into hers in the way he knew that she loved. Vanessa barely noticed the wood and the books against her back, as her mind was more and more clouded with lust. Even as her head slightly bumped against a novel as she let out a loud moan, she barely took it into account.
Feeling really bold, Vanessa dared to move her hips against him. Which wasn't easy as he was holding her. But the sudden move on her part made Nozel lose his balance for a moment. Both lovers tried to grab the shelf, but it didn't helped much as Nozel still fell down on his knees.
A few books fell from the shelf and Vanessa actually laughed as she glanced at the title of one of those. The Prince & The Witch, such an irony.
Nozel laughed with her, but he immediately continued his lovemaking, sucking one of her nipples in the process. All that while he was still on his knees. Vanessa moaned again, but despite her lust clouded mind, she was still aware enough that this position might not be the most comfortable for her beloved captain.
With a sudden move on her own hips, she made them lose balance again, as now she fell on her back, her legs tightly wrapped around Nozels waist as she refused to not feel him in her anymore before the release.
Her head bumped against another book, one of those that fell from the shelf during their loss of balance.
"Are you alright?"
"Come on, handsome, it's just a book. My head is totally fine."
Nozel cradled her head with such kindness that she couldn't help but swoon.
"It doesn't look there is a bump."
"Captain, please just fuck me, this witch needs some royal lust!"
The magic word again…
Nozel grabbed her waist, thrusting into her roughly. For a while, the library was filled with the sounds of flesh against flesh, of panting, her moans and his groans. Plus a few whispers of their names.
Damn, it was so near! Vanessa doubted that she would be able to hold it back any longer if it continued like this.
In the same moment, Nozel carried her up again, holding her firmly as he moved quickly towards the couch. Vanessa barely had the time to realize what was going on as they both lied on the cushions and Nozel rocked his hips again.
"Honey?"
"I don't want to be on the floor to take you completely, Vanessa. You deserve to be treated more ladylike in every way."
"So… am I your lady?"
"Yes… my beloved lady…"
He kissed her so softly while his thrusts were so rough. Vanessa thought she could melt right here. One hand was in his hair again, while the other grabbed a cushion. She was near to release, she just knew it.
Nozel had his face in the crook of her neck and his arms tightly around her when Vanessa felt the orgasm wash over her in such a sweet and passionate way that she was seeing stars. Her beloved eagle captain continued a few thrust, making her orgasm longer for a few seconds… until he let go as well with a deep groan, filling her so warmly.
Vanessa opened her eyes, barely noticing the bookshelves, the stained glass window and the ceiling. Everything seemed so blurry and Nozel only looked so real, so clear. Vanessa smiled, happy and exhausted.
"Gosh, handsome. If sex is like this each time after we have a fight, maybe we should do it more often."
"Vanessa…"
"Just kidding."
Nozel fell beside her and cupped her cheek. His hair was a bit undone, some hair got out of his braid, but he was smiling so brightly. That smile was so rare, which made it even more precious.
Vanessa felt so happy that this smile was mostly for her only. It was such a treasure.
For a while, they just lied here, looking at each other or shared a loving kiss.
"Handsome…"
"Hm?"
"Do you want another round?"
"You're insatiable, aren't you?"
"Have you seen my gorgeous boyfriend? Of course I am!"
"In a moment… Shall I order some hot chocolate first?"
"You know I can't say no to that, honey."
Their hot chocolates were barely finished that Nozel and Vanessa were at it again, a bit slower this time. They didn't left the Silva Library until the very next morning…
