AN: We have them on the hiking trail in Griffin Park. I saw some pictures and there was one spot that had ton of trees. I don't know if this spot they are at really exists was just going with maybe. Also the incident from two years back with Rocker's ex gets brought up. I hope it's not too OOC, but this is AU so. More explained at the end about that. It could happen is all I'm going on.

Summary: A walk on the trail, some talk about an ex, and more flirting. Eddie also gets a taste, but Rocker's holding firm on the no sex until after that third date. Even if Eddie is tempting him.

Title: You Mean More To Me, Eddie

Eddie was enjoying the walk. They stopped at a few places on the trail. He took pictures of the view and of them. He had been told that pictures were required. He had taken two while they'd been having the picnic. He'd been too distracted to take more. He had gotten one that was just for him of Rocker kissing him when they'd put the cooler in the truck. The pace wasn't rushed, and Rocker hadn't let go of his hand except when he took the pictures. However, Rocker had more than once wrapped his arms around his waist holding him like that. While they'd been texting and talking over the last two weeks he'd told Rocker some about Shannon, Ana an Marisol. He'd asked about Rocker's exes, but he hadn't said a lot. Ended badly, epic fail, and one he'd said about cuffs. He was curious, so he decided now would be a good time to ask.

"Okay, I have told you about my three exes. Even told you I'd thought about dying more than once. It's your turn." Eddie said. "If it's too horrible I won't push, but I'd like to know about you too." It might could be worse than his it was possible.

"That would have been two years ago. If I'm spilling, then we're going to be sitting. The view's perfect up here. This is my favorite place on the trail. I come up here to get away if I'm wanting to get lost without water around me. Tommy's the only other person alive that's been here." Rocker said as they sat down on the bolder. It was a little hard, but he didn't care. "Just to be clear the guy won't be a problem. Like he isn't someone still in my life or even a live for that matter."

"I'm so sorry they died, baby. You said you didn't date cops so I'm going to guess wasn't job related. Unless it was another firefighter." Eddie said sympathy in his voice. He knew it was hard watching someone you loved die.

He'd met Matt when he'd been waiting on Tommy, but he'd gotten called in on a major fire. Matt had claimed he was new to town and had no clue where to find something. The guy hadn't pressed charges and he'd gotten out on bail, nothing else had happened.

"If Tommy trusts you then I do. Tommy didn't trust Matt even though he hadn't met him. Though Matt had been watching us both. He didn't realize that I was a twin until the day he died. He thought I was undercover with the LAFD. He somehow found out the FBI was investigating him. I hadn't known til the day it happened, but he went to our house thinking he could blackmail me into helping him get away. Tommy was the one he found though. I was being told who Matt really was at the same time he was at our house." Rocker explained.

He still remembered getting to the house and finding the place nearly destroyed. Tommy and Matt both unconscious outside with the French doors shattered. Matt and Tommy both bleeding out for different reasons. Matt because Tommy had finally gotten the upper hand and put a bullet in his chest. His brother because he'd had multiple cuts from going through the doors. Matt had already been dead, but he'd kept Tommy alive until the RA had gotten there. Though meeting Eddie changed that. There was something about him that broke all those rules he'd set up after Matt. Tommy had told him he couldn't shut out love for the rest of his life. That was said once a month, but he'd kept pushing it aside. He could use his friend to deal with those other needs. However, he didn't see himself wanting to go back to that. He wanted to let Eddie in and maybe finally put his love life back together.

"I couldn't image finding that. I could understand why you have trust issues. If you ever want talk more about it feel free." Eddie said tightening his arms around Rocker.

He'd changed their position while Rocker had been telling him the story. They were still looking out at the view of the trees as far as they could see. He wasn't sure if he could have trusted after something like that.
