Well, look who it is!

Another unexpected opening to write a story for me!

I recently watched "Elemental" and liked it a lot, though the fact that it was one of the rare movies which has no villain yet still managed to be excellent did, ironically, propel me to write a story with quite the villain in it.

One which was inspired by a segment of an "1000 Ways To Die" episode titled "Chain On You" and a fan comic on Deviantart titled "Ember's Motorcycle Accident", made by user Wolfmarian.

Okay, so in this story, Rocky Terrara, an earth person OC of mine(think Ember, but with a rock and soil blended kind of design) and childhood bully of Ember when the two were children and preteens, as well as in their early teens, meets up again with the fire person after so long, but by freak chance.

Anyway, during their conversation following their reunion which draws everyone's attention and causes Ember make sure everyone knows all of everything that they need to, it's found out that Rocky is, like her childhood quarry, quite the motorcycle rider.

The two agree to settle their newly rebirthed score with a motorcycle race, a decision that everyone agrees to, seeing as it as an excellent alternative to a fight…only it isn't that simple.

Because Rocky has one hell of an evil plan that she found an opening for before said race agreement and can now, after the motorcycle race agreement having been made, use that racing agreement to put it into action like she was hoping would be the case after devising it and seeing just the right means to succeed in it.

My guess is I've really got you pulled in just now, so let's get to the story, huh?

It's going to be two chapters long, BTW.

THINGS TO NOTE:

This story takes place a year after the events of "Elemental".

With the exception of my OC, I own none of the characters, as they all belong to Disney, and I don't own the "1000 Ways" episode or the fancomic that served as inspiration for this story, either, obviously.

You know that "Hate Sink" trope on the site known as TV ?

Well, that's exactly what my OC Rocky is.

In addition to the trope on that trope on the same site which refers to one who is pure evil, the one aptly called "Complete Monster".

In fact, if, by the end of this first chapter, you do not want to read about Rocky getting an unbelievably disgusting and indescribably painful punishment of one sort or the other in the second, I am VERY, VERY, VERY worried about your sense of morality.

Okay, enough ado, previewing and buildup...read on!

Getting Hot And Playing Dirty

Chapter 1-Taken For A Ride

Ember and Wade were really looking forward to their upcoming visit to Element City, the way that Wade's talents had gotten along swimmingly with his always choosing to be the one who did it when inspection was needed and Ember was as on fire as one would expect with her everlasting love of glassmaking ever so present and ever so motivating, and the way that their new lives, new home and newness laden future in general all couldn't have been going better.

Upon arriving at Element City for the said visit and greeting their respective family members followed by going about the city they previously called home, with Ember, except for when she got off of it to hug her parents and shake hands with Wade's family, having been on her motorcycle from getting off the boat to when they started exploring about, though, a blast from the past was to make itself, or, actually, herself, known.

Yes, I said "herself", because the blast from the past in question was an earth person who Ember had known while growing up from childhood to preteens to early teens, and who was also someone who Ember was none too happy to see.

She went by the name of Rocky Terrara, and along with looking like the dirt and stone mixture equivalent of Ember, she was riding on a motorcycle which resembled Ember's very considerably(though it did not look identical)as to the way she had arrived.

Wearing a black jacket, a dark grey shirt, dark blue jeans and black foots, she had, on a clear motorcycle trip in the city, suddenly now stopped her bike, and, upon seeing them all, she said: "What the? Three fire people and a big family of water people happy together? Now there's a sight that I was never expecting to see!"

Only Ember recognized her, as her parents were noticeably older now and neither Wade nor his family had ever seen her before, but Ember could tell exactly who she was even though they were both now adults and had, in fact, last been with each other when in early teen years.

Indeed, circumstances during that time saw to their going to in opposite directions, and when they did, Ember was only too happy to see the back of Rocky, while Rocky was extremely disappointed that she wouldn't get to bully Ember anymore.

Yeah, you read right.

During that more than half period of growing up in their lives, Rocky constantly bullied, picked on, harassed and tormented Ember mercilessly in whatever ways she could think of, all because Ember was a fire person, and, while Ember did do whatever she could to try and make her nemesis knock it off, whether it involved Rocky's parents, her own or anyone or anything else, none of what could be and was done lasted too long, as Rocky was very good at eluding consequences and just as adept at thinking up new ways to bully Ember(up to and including causing her physical harm).

Ember remembering these things was accompanied by her recalling Rocky saying things like: "Come on, wuss! I'm earth and you're fire! Aren't you gonna burn me? Don't you want to set me aflame?" and "Scared to fight back because you think it'll prove bad theories about your own right? Well, I suggest you let all that water which comes off of The Wetro Bridge when one of their trains passes fall on you...that'll end your troubles and the ones that you cause everyone for all time, won't it? Ha, ha, ha!"

Making sure to keep her temper under control as much as she could, as she knew that flying into a literally explosive rage wasn't going to solve or accomplish anything, Ember then said: "Hi there, Terrara."

"You know my name?" Rocky asked, looking and sounding confused, which she also was, and Ember replied: "Yes, but since it's been so long since we last saw each other, plus I was the one on the business end of the bullying between us, I doubt you remember or recognize me."

"You're right, I have absolutely no idea who you are at all." Rocky confirmed, to which Ember said: "All right, let me refresh your memory...hopefully with just my name."

"Which is...?" asked Rocky.

"Ember Lumen." Ember replied.

Suddenly, it all came back to Rocky, who now sported a huge, sinister smile and said: "Ah, Lumen! Of course! You were quite fun to mock and beat up, among plenty of other fucking things the fuck along those fucking lines! How about I give everyone here a nice, big, high-impact example of the fashions in which I made you my whipping girl, for old times' sake?"

"No way, no how." barked Ember. "I've come a long way since then, as evidenced by how I not only now have a great job as a glass object designer and new home alongside my love Wade Ripple here...yes, I said MY LOVE...being an excellent inspector as his own job, but I also have been a major part of how two different elements, even the ones least likely to be able to, can mix, after all, just like that same Wade Ripple has."

Wade wanted to wave hello, but after hearing all of what he just did, he was too angry and astounded to move or even speak, not unlike all of the others present near him and Ember were.

"That," continued Ember, "and the only two things stopping me from incinerating you right now via making an explosive fire out of myself are the consequences that would make themselves known in the aftermath and how I do not want to make myself into someone who is no better than you."

"NO BETTER THAN ME?!" exploded Rocky before adding: "Okay, first of all, you are just as inferior to me as you always were and always will be, and second of all, wouldn't it truly fucking surprise you to know that, for a long time now, I've had a much cooler job than yours and Ripple's put together...specifically, I've been a motorcycle racer. Yup, I don't just use this thing to get places, I use it as my profession. You wouldn't believe how many consecutive races I've won...I'm dreaded by other races in my profession both because of how I always win and the way that I drive in the races being at a velocity that almost no one could think possible. Any race I'm involved in, the others in it pretend they have a chance of not losing."

"Have there ever been times in which you crashed into any of them to make them go off the track and hit the ground hard along with their bikes?" snarled Ember, all but at the point of losing her temper and going into explosive wildfire mode.

"No, but there have been times in which I passed them so close that they got scared enough to crash one way or the other, though it's not my fault they're all such cowards." Rocky replied smugly before adding: "In fact, one would think that they'd want to ignore how much they fear me and just focus on racing, but I guess they're just too fucking stupid to think of things that way, provided they're actually able to in any way think at all. Ha, ha, ha!"

The ones who weren't Ember were increasingly feeling a deep-rooted dislike for Rocky, and at an increasingly rapid rate, at that.

Suddenly thinking of an extremely evil plan, and one that would work best if there was to be a motorcycle race between her and Ember, Rocky asked her childhood bullying target: "Say, Ember, I was just wondering all of a sudden...I know it obviously isn't your job like it is mine, but I see that you can clearly ride a motorcycle, as well."

"Yes, as a matter of fact, I can." Ember responded, going on with: "In fact, I've done so very vehemently, adeptly and speedily for uses of everything from delivery to keeping ahead of a danger that I need to warn everyone about in time, though in this case it's simply for exploration mixed with fun."

Her evil mind really feeling considerable delight in hearing this, since her plot would be given the best chance of success just now, the earth person said: "Well, then, since I doubt either of your parents or any of these water people, your LOVE or otherwise, want us to fight, and since I have literally never been beaten in a motorcycle race before, what say we settle our score with one of those? I mean, I've never seen you ride yours despite how I know it won't nearly be enough to beat me, but surely you'd like to try and pay me back like that, shattering my perfect record and everything, and I do believe it would be quite a sight to see, as well."

"You know, I can't deny how correct you are even though I hate your guts. A motorcycle race with you? You're on." Ember told her before asking her parents and the water people, Wade or otherwise: "Any objections? How good an alternative is this to a fight?"

After a brief silence, Bernie said: "Very well, Ember. Since some kind of contest was inevitable here, I suppose a motorcycle race is the best that any of us can agree to."

"After all, you are very good at driving a motorcycle, and, since I can tell that Miss Terrara here..." began Cinder, before the one to which she referred snarled: "ROCKY."

Everyone's eyes opened widely, especially Cinder's, but she simply continued: "...I mean Rocky, won't accept the idea of turning over a new leaf..."

"Of course I won't. And that had best not be a pun." snapped Rocky while Ember did her best to keep her temper under control, since Rocky being so rude to her mother was making her angry, understandably and unsurprisingly, with Cinder calmly continued: "...there really is no other option unless one or more of us wants it to be worse here."

"Hey, either way is fine with me!" smiled Rocky brazenly, before saying: "And it's worth pointing out, Lumen, that this race is going to be around every region of The Wetro there is...you know, bridges, tunnels, the whole shebang. Still feel confident about trying to beat me?"

"Uh, YEAH. I do, Terrara." Ember replied flatly, followed by Rocky going: "Okay, then, let's get things arranged and lined up."

She and Ember rode their way to the best choice of where to start in terms of how and where they were going to be doing their race, all of them followed by Ember's parents and Wade's family, with Wade asking once the two girls were in position and things were decided as to where the metaphorical finish line would be: "May I be the one to give the three command start, please?"

"Of course, Wade!" Ember said, her face lighting up(HA!)before Rocky rolled her eyes and said: "Whatever...it's only fair, the way I'm going to leave you in the dust, or, actually, dirt before this race of ours even starts."

Ember sighed in frustration and then said to Rocky: "You do realize that you just gave me further incentive to beat you, right, Terrara?"

"Doesn't matter, Lumen." Rocky replied as the two got their faces looking forwards for when they'd be racing each other, adding on: "No one has beaten me before, and no one ever will, least of all you."

Ready for what they were both about to do, Ember and Rocky looked at each other with nasty smiles that clearly said: "Get ready for the humiliation moment of your life!"

After that, they went back to looking ahead of them for the race and heard Wade, who was flanked by his family and Ember's parents, say in the background: "Okay, girls! On your mark…get set…GO!"

And with that, the two took off, riding their motorcycles like they never had in their entire lives, burning with determination and excitement(in Ember's case, literally)and eager beyond words to win the race...indeed, they were craving the said race triumph in a way to an extent that goes well past the imagination's capabilities.

Continually making their way side by side all around the ground under The Wetro's bridges, through the tunnels of The Wetro and on top of The Wetro bridges, and making sure their timing was flawless when they needed to take a turn or avoid crashing into something nearby, it was looking as if it was going to end in a tie and a very explosive(again, literally in Ember's case)argument between them following said stalemate.

However, after a long, long while of this, Ember saw a means to tip the scales in her favor, which she, very understandably and unsurprisingly, went for right then and there…she could feel her motorcycle starting to tip to the edge of the side it was occupying of the most recent region of bridge they were on, which meant she needed to act fast to make it so that she didn't plummet to her death while her motorcycle met its destruction at the same time.

Doing so via swerving hard so that she was once more in the central region, but very specifically in the center, as opposed to half of it like when she and Rocky were side by side, Ember focused more intently than before(if that were possible)on where she was going, as she was now in front of Rocky and, unless her adversary found a means to catch up with and make her way around her quickly, she was going to win the race and make Rocky pay for how she was so awful to her for so long way back when.

"HEY! WHAT THE FUCK?!" Rocky exclaimed as she saw the last thing that she ever wanted to see at all, but especially now.

"You mean what the fuck are you doing behind me, Terrara?" Ember responded before adding: "Fighting a losing battle, or should I say riding a losing race, that's what!"

"No way, Lumen!" exploded Rocky. "You were never going to beat me, and that was never going to change, even now! Especially now!"

"The ways things currently are suggest otherwise, dirtbag!" Ember called back without moving her head so that she could still focus on where she was going, much like was the case when she gave her first response to Rocky's shock and anger.

Seeing the figurative finish line after a time while managing to, albeit barely, keep up ahead of Rocky, Ember knew that she was just a little more distance away from getting even with her antagonist of yesteryear, and not doing anything but looking right at what she was ready and eager to cross before Rocky could do a thing to even get side by side with her again.

Rocky looked this way and that for an opening that stood a favorable chance of success in terms of getting ahead of, or at least side by side again with, Ember, but there was none to be found at all, and soon enough, Rocky saw the very last thing she ever wanted to see in sixty-six centuries.

Ember's motorcycle dropped off the side of the bridge that would allow her to hit the part of the street that led to the figurative finish line and then she rode towards and crossed the said metaphorical finish line and Rocky could do nothing as the fire person went after then braking her bike enough to put it to a stop: "WHOOO HOOOO! I WON!"

She got off of it and pumped her fist before throwing both of her arms into the air and feeling both her family, Wade's family and Wade himself embrace her, but then it was all badly disrupted when they heard a crash.

The front wheel of Rocky's motorcycle had slammed into the back wheel of Ember's motorcycle, sending it flying into a nearby wall, and Ember said: "HEY! My bike!"

She and the others turned to Rocky, with the earth person saying: "Oh, shit! Sorry about that, Lumen…almost. I guess that my shock in seeing that you beat me made me unable to try and stop my bike via braking in time. Can you really blame me, though? This is literally the first time that I have ever been beaten in a race, and by the one who was so much fun to mock and humiliate in my childhood years, no less! So I'm angry as hell, the fact that I'm easily keeping my temper the fuck under control as well as you can yours notwithstanding."

"Gosh, it would seem that you're being a loser who is superficially gracious, but actually sore!" laughed Ember before the others joined in, making Rocky further angry about being beaten.

"HAAAAAAAAAAA!" Rocky went sarcastically before adding: "Well, it would appear you've paid me back, haven't you, Lumen, what with how you've now humiliated me in front of so, so many city residents and derailed all the times of my motorcycle riding being awesome and triumphant ones with this loss that you worked so hard to cause me to suffer! Must feel so, so, so fucking wonderful, huh, flames?"

"Well, Terrara, your next loss is a good portion of your salary!" Ember barked before adding on: "You owe me a new motorcycle!"

"Actually, I don't, because it just so happens that, in the same way you are so good with making things out of glass, I am just as good, if not better, at fixing things! It's a means I have to get paid more than I would just for racing. I offer to fix things, other bikes or otherwise, when not racing as long as I'm paid a hefty price. So step aside while I fix your motorcycle."

This was Rocky's reply before she rode her bike on over to where Ember's badly damaged one was, Ember herself then saying: "You do? You were constantly mean and bullyish to me and all while we grew up, Terrara, but I never knew you to be greedy!"

"Well, things sure as hell change, don't they, sparky?" Rocky responded snidely, with Wade then saying: "Hey, wait a second…how are you going to fix Ember's bike, Rocky? You don't have any tools!"

"Actually, Ripple, I do." Rocky replied as she got off her bike and took out the things she used for her fixing job from the pockets of her jacket and pants, adding on: "I keep them with me at all times."

"Oh…" Wade said, feeling embarrassed, but while superficially giving Ember's motorcycle the fixing it needed, Rocky was thinking to herself: "Yeah, you won, Lumen, but you'd best enjoy this while you can, 'cause it's not gonna be too long that you can."

While doing the fixing, Rocky said without turning her head to look at the others: "By the way, you're all going to have to pay me a lot for this. And the fact I'm doing it for you, Lumen, makes it so that the price is going to be even more of a pretty penny than it might or might not be if I were just fixing anyone's bike."

"What?" Ember asked alongside everyone else gasping, before going: "You're the reason it needs fixing in the first place, Terrara!"

"Yeah, that's why I'm only going to charge you the kind of massive price that doesn't leave you dirt poor." responded Rocky brusquely.

While saying this, she thought to herself: "I might have lost, but that won't make much difference despite how livid I am about my destroyed perfect record because my plan can still be put into action and work, and it'll be just a matter of time before the trigger's been pulled."

After a time, it seemed like Ember's motorcycle was back to normal, as Rocky pulled it up and said: "There! Good as new." after putting her tools back in her pockets.

"Well, thank you for at least being a gracious, well, faux semi-gracious, loser," Ember told Rocky before going over to her motorcycle while the latter rode a good distance away from it after making her way back to her own, "and for sparing me a lot at, ironically, the same time and on the same level that you did yourself, but even so, you…"

Ember didn't have time to finish the sentence before her bike exploded and sent her flying into a nearby sign, which she hit hard and found herself helpless in front of, with this being what Rocky was planning on doing whether she won or lost the race, and the fact that she lost of course amplified how wonderful it felt to have successfully achieved her nasty, evil plan.

It all went in her favor, unlike the end of the motorcycle race, as the explosion had blinded and disoriented everyone and caused them to go crashing around and about into each other and thus they could do nothing to help the trapped and agonized Ember.

It was now obvious that the way that Rocky had "fixed" Ember's bike was actually one that would cause even a small amount of heat to, well, cause it to explode, and, upon seeing Rocky ride up over to her on her motorcycle sporting a nasty grin, a terrified Ember heard Rocky go: "Pretty unexpected, huh, Lumen?" while her nemesis got out one of her tools, the wrench, to be exact.

"Terrara?" Ember managed to squeeze out along with: "You…you were planning this all along, weren't you…you intended to make it so that, one way or the other, whether you won or lost…you'd blow up my bike and then beat up its owner…"

"Beat you up, bitch?" asked Rocky before getting off of her motorcycle and putting the wrench in the palm of her free hand twice, which was followed by the words: "I'm not going to beat you up, Lumen. I'm going to beat you down…SIX FEET UNDER!"

Mercilessly bashing Ember across the nose, mouth and forehead with her wrench, she also used it to nail each side of Ember's head before putting it away and took out her twin screwdrivers, which she used to drive through Ember's thighs, sides and underarms, all at the same time and in that order in all three cases.

"Hurts like a bitch, doesn't it, bitch?" Rocky mockingly said before putting away her twin screwdrivers, running up to the chain which had flown off Ember's bike when it exploded, running back to Ember herself and going: "Though, as you can clearly fucking see, Lumen, it doesn't fucking compare to this." while whipping it across Ember's eyes.

Ember was screaming the loudest that she ever had in her life during this, though, for quite the irony, this added to what was causing everyone to crash into each other even though they would otherwise have helped Ember, especially Wade.

"You're my whipping girl, bitch, and your self-esteem is about to take another bludgeon." Rocky leered before throwing the chain aside.

Pulling out her handheld mallet, which she promptly used to nail both of Ember's knees, one at a time, along with smashing it over the top of her head, on her back and in her stomach, putting it away and saying: "Stop! Hammer time! Or at least it was…now we get to the part where we really screw around, Lumen." and then laughing nastily, Rocky was now once more intent on making it go from bad to worse, and she did just that.

She produced her handheld electric drill and bored holes in a shoulder apiece on Ember, then grabbed her neck to pull her up in a choking way and bore a hole in her rear, one side at a time, and upon putting it back, she'd go: "And hey, you know the drill, bitch…by now, you're done for. In fact, my guess is you're about to be feeling really run over."

Ember was fluctuating in terms of being conscious and unconscious after being dropped, and at one point, was able to see that Rocky had gotten back on her bike and was getting it going.

"No…" the fire heroine thought to herself, able to tell exactly what Rocky was about to do even in her current condition, and sure enough, the evil earth person got her motorcycle going and not only ran Ember over, but also kept riding her bike away from where she'd done all of her figurative and literal dirty deeds, intent on leaving Element City before anyone could stop her from escaping both that location and any punishments she might receive for such atrocities as the ones that she had just committed.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" cackled Rocky before going out: "So long, goner! See you around, she who is not so long for this world! I just snuffed a fire out, or at least that will be the case not long from now! Doesn't feel like such a victory for you now, does it, sparky? I may have lost the race, but you will soon lose your life! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Disappearing from sight after making her way towards a direction where a boat which was soon to depart from Element City could be found, the perfect means of eluding all of what she meant to evade, Rocky didn't know that Ember was, despite being run over after all of the other damage caused to her, just barely clinging to life, though she was absolutely comatose.

With everything that was causing everyone to smash into each other even though they otherwise would have put a stop to what Rocky was doing to Ember at once now disappearing at last, Wade's family, Wade himself and Ember's parents all looked, and became understandably shocked, to see a severely damaged and horribly injured Ember, who was, as they were soon able to tell, basically as close to being dead as someone can be without actually being dead.

"EMBER, NO!" exclaimed Bernie before Cinder, despite her horrified state being just as massive as that of everyone else present, not least of all Wade, heard very tiny little sounds that turned out to be almost inaudible breathing, making it clear that Ember wasn't dead despite how many would easily get the impression that she was if they saw how she looked right now.

"Wait…" she barely managed to say before also, well barely managing to add: "She is not dead. She is still alive, but we must get her to an emergency room there fast if there is to be any chance that she stays that way!"

Hearing all of this after what he saw caused Wade to snap out of his aghast state and start yelling for some way to get Ember to an emergency room as soon as possible in whatever way that he could fucking think of.

"AMBULANCE! MEDIC! SOMEONE AND/OR SOMETHING OF THAT NATURE! PLEASE!" Wade went before he started crying harder than he ever had in his life, and that's saying something, given how easy it was to make him cry and how often that had happened along how often it, well, had happened with his family.

Luckily, he had been heard, as evidenced by how lots of earth, fire, air and water people were suddenly present and saw what told the whole story, quickly getting to work with helping get a means to, well, help Ember before it was too late.

It was none too long after that that an ambulance showed up and Bernie said as it did so: "Wow, Wade…your bawling actually worked! Your wailing actually paid off! Thank…thank you so much…"

"Don't thank me yet." Wade sniffed. "She's still less than an inch away from being dead…"

This was followed by more crying on his part, followed by his family mirroring that, all while, ironically, Ember was gently picked up and placed on a stretcher before being placed just as gently into the ambulance, and only when it was absolutely safe to close the back doors did the ones doing all of this for her, one earth person and one fire person, do that and follow it with getting back in the ambulance so that the earth person, who did the driving while the fire person kept on the lookout for whoever or whatever needed to be pointed out while the sirens were going off during times they were on duty, could start up the vehicle as so to get Ember to the hospital as speedily as they could.

Once they did, Cinder said: "Wade, stop crying, you and your family! It's not going to increase Ember's chances of survival, and it's already done what good it can!"

Wade and his family did cease their crying after hearing this, and Cinder suddenly said: "I do, however, along with Bernie, worry about our daughter as much as you Ripples all do, Wade or otherwise. Which is why I'm thinking we should get on a Wetro Train that is going in the direction that ambulance is the first chance we get!"

As if on cue, there was a Wetro Train that would indeed go in that direction showing up just then, though the usual water flowing downwards made it so that Bernie and Cinder needed to step back far upon seeing it.

Afterwards, though, they and all of the Ripple family made their way on as fast as they could and hoped the doors would close fast so that it would get going, since they were the last ones to get on it, and while this happened and the train was moving immediately thereafter, a lot of tear suppression was needed and barely managed by the Ripples as they worried for Ember just as much as the senior Lumens did.

Keeping their eyes open for where the hospital Ember had been taken to might be, since they'd have to signal the conductor to stop so they could get there the instant they did, they did all they could to ignore all of the awful feelings they currently had and the one concerning how they wished they could really destroy Rocky together and in none too quick or simple or painless a way.

What of Ember, though?

Would she be lucky enough to get the help she needed to live and start on the road to recovery?

Would her parents and the Ripples get there in time to either try and help her or at the very least keep her company?

Well, we won't be finding out in this chapter…it's cliffhanger time!

TO BE CONTINUED…

Was this intense, enraging and shocking like I meant it to be?

I do hope that I was successful in that and making Rocky Terrara a super loathsome piece of work like no other…do tell me how I did in terms of that in your ratings and reviews.

Also in your ratings and reviews, please let me know what way you think that Rocky should get her comeuppance…I'll pick what one I think is best after you've given it!

Be fast about it, though…you don't want the literally dirty bitch to go unpunished for long, do you?
