The halls were empty; class was in session. Ball had been counting the bells ever since she had left David. She knew that he was at lunch, which was the last period that she knew he would be at. Unfortunately, the halls seemed unfamiliar to her. She decided the only way to get to the cafeteria was to ask for help. She didn't want to get Rocky out to open a door, so she had to find an already open one.

She could hear students conversing; their sound leaking out from the open door. Ball headed to it, but slowed down when she heard what was being spoken about.

"-It really is strange," Beta Green, twin sister of Josie said.

"I've like, never been so violated," Gabby Stück, member of Good Day Bad Day said.

"Same! It was completely out of my control. I couldn't even scream because someone else was doing it for me! Josie says it's probably Ball and Craeggs fault," Beta said.

"You can't reely be blamin this on Bawl and Craeggs can you? You doin't even know them. They're new students!" Gracie Tremor, one of the students in Ball's math class said.

"But who else would be responsible? Ball has only been here for two days and has caused more discord in this school than ever Agren ever has," Beta said.

"Hey! Don't go bashing on my brother!" a young middle school girl named Kristina Vostok said. She had snuck in this study hall under his watch, but he wasn't currently in the room.

"I'm shire we can boish on your brother if yoir brother can boish on the whole doirn school! Brokin doi ze lurf!" Gracie said. Ball didn't understand her last few yoyle words. At this point she had completely stopped walking to listen.

"Yeah, do you like, even know what he does around here? He's such a brute. His illegal muscle for hire service has like, drawn in all the hate of this school into a ugly force," Gabby said.

"Whatever… he keeps me safe!" Kristina said.

"Froim what? Himself?" Gracie said.

"From aliens! That… sound that happened got him worried for me. You shouldn't be so quick to judge my brother,"

"We aren't quick! we've known him since elementary school!" Beta said.

"At least my brother is human! Whatever he does, is not even compareable to the damage done by those freaks up above!" Kristina was becoming whiny.

"Well... she's right about that... I mean, just look on the news! It's all over yoyleland! It has to be aliens, it has. to be. Ball!" Beta said. Ball could hear her slap the table while she spoke.

"I hate you, but you're like, starting to sound at least reasonable," Gabby said.

"You guys coin't be serious! Bawl isn't even an oilen! She's a living object created right here in yoylelund!" Gracie said.

"That's just what they want you to think," Beta said, "Besides, all the stuff they say about creating Ball doesn't make any sense. Sentimental value? What a con! And Gracie, didn't you say Ball nor Craeggs was at math class today? And today is the day of the sound. Ya know, we really outta stick to our own if you want to be safe,"

"Ah!" Gracie gasped with disgust, "You Beta, are roilly just starting to soind like your sister! The soind 'oittack' as you fellows say, isn't even an attack. If any of you were even listening! It was a croi for help… I think it's sick that you just push it aside as an oittack joist because it made you feel helpless. History-"

"Ok Gracie shut up," Gabby said bluntly.

Gracie gasped again.

"You know what, you gois are just meanies," Gracie said. Gabby chuckled at 'meanies'.

"I'm just trying to protect you. We don't know what they're up to," Beta said.

"Well you're oither gonna protect oill of us, or start a war and kill us oill,"

"Can you not talk like that please. I am so done with your ois!" Kristina said.

"Soirry I was better at keeping it down before. Even my own foimaly is annoyed, and we oill talk like this," Gracie said, "I still coin't stand you three. So oi'm going to the 'bathroom'. I probably won't be back,"

"Have it your way," Beta said slowly, "...Traitor,"

Ball didn't react fast enough to avoid Gracie coming out of the room.

"Oh! B-"

"Shhhh!" Ball hissed. She didn't want the others to know that she was eavesdropping.

"Oh yeah… roight. We probably should go someplace else to talk,"

Instead of asking to go to the cafeteria, Ball agreed to speak with Gracie. Ball was concerned with the way people saw her. How could they believe such lies? In the girls bathroom they were able to talk in peace.

"People are reoilly scared about the audio 'oittack' from before. I know that is wasn't reoillly an oittack, but the student body is starting to bloim It on you. I want to be your alloi, eh ally… in this. I am not going to joidge you if you were the caoise of that crazy sound, but I have to knoiw, are you the caoise.. c-cause?" Gracie asked leaning on the bathroom wall.

"No, I did not cause the sound. I do not really even know what it is. I have an idea, but it is just a theory at this point. I believe that Craeggs may be responsible. But it is imperative that I keep most of what I know a secret. It is for Craeggs safety," Ball said.

"Oh! Noiw you've just made me moire curious. But oill try to be respectful. I want to help you. I fear students moight troi to hurt you and David. They think yoiu're un oilien!" Gracie Tremor said.

"I am not an alien from outer space. I have met some, oops,"

"YOI'VE MOIT OILENS!? GROINER MOITMEET ZOR STAR. Dorse groiner resqord?"

"What… are you saying?!" Ball asked.

"Oh, soirey. I guess you doin't know yoyle. My foimily speaks it. It's a common second language roind here. Unfoitunetly my oiccent is a little hard to u-understand sometimes. I asked, what ploinet are they from," Gracie explained.

"I am not sure. I did not even think of their homeland," Ball thought about all the planets she knew of. She looked at each of them across the solar system and in her mind. A planet even farther away from the rest became a part of her knowledge. It didn't look very healthy.

It was called Seen, or Seenbeams and it seemed pumping with all types of factory smoke. Most of the planet was hollowed out metal made into numerous shapes and holes by those who lived there. That included the animals as well. Ball didn't understand how she knew this, as she didn't know of most planets. She decided to tell Gracie anyway, "They live on a planet called Seenbeams. It's mostly made of metal and factories dug into the ground. I do not know how I know this. But I think it might be true," Ball said.

"Wowie! I noiver thought that oilens were real," Gracie thought about what they could look like.

"You must not gossip about the oilens- I mean aliens,"

Gracie began to laugh.

"You have no idoia how often this hoippens!" She chuckled. Ball was embarrassed.

"Yes well, all jokes aside you should try to keep the aliens more on the down low... there is no one in here, correct?"

Gracie looked under the stalls for anyone's shoes.

"Noio. No one's here," She said, "I doin't want any ill will to you or anyone who choises to be friends with you. I'll make sure that everyone understands that it was a croi for help instead of an oittack. I woin't tell anything about Craeggs if yoi're worried about him," She spoke with vigor.

Ball smiled.
"Thank you," Ball really felt like she had an ally that could fight for her in the social sense. It was something different than friends, more like a follower, "Now that this is all cleared up. I need to ask of you-" the bell rang, "Oh no! The bell! Quickly! Where is the lunchroom?! I must meet back up with David!" Ball shouted. They both rushed out into the crowding hall. Gracie pointed down it.

"Go dowin take a left, and then keep goiing fiorward! Then it should be roight there!" Gracie said.

"Thank!" oh I forgot to say you! Ball sped walked among the traffic. After going to the left and then all the way down the students were already leaving. Although, she was in luck. Oscar was just leaving the cafeteria when she ran into him.

"Ball! Hi!" His expression before was grim, but it lit up when he saw her.

"Hi Oscar! I did not know you had lunch this period!" Ball said. She panted, but she was still glad to see him.

"I have it this period every other day. What are you doing here?" Oscar asked.

"I am looking for David. Do you know where he could be?" She asked.

"Oh, last period he went to use the bathroom. I saw Agren follow him," Oscar said nonchalantly.

"AGREN!?" Ball started to fear.

"Yeah. Ya'know the mean guy," He said.

"Where is the closest bathroom!?" Ball screeched. Oscar pointed to her left. She then dashed off.

"I will see you this afternoon!" Ball said vaguely as she looked slightly behind her.

"Oh… cool," Oscar watched her run.

Ball ran down towards the closest bathroom. The people around her made it hard to see because of how tall they were. She could see the tops of the doorways, so she knew he must be nearby. She practically jumped up when she saw him. He was sitting against the wall holding his nose. She went up to him, and tapped his shoulder. He did not respond, and his nose was bleeding. Nononono! Ball looked up the the people passing by.

"Get help! Please!" She yelled. The students glanced at her. They did not care much for David, or Ball. Her cries for help sounded all too familiar to them, "He is in serious trouble! He will not wake! Please go get help!" Still nobody did anything, and as the students dispersed Ball saw someone else sitting at the other side of the hall. It was the culprit, Agren. Ball looked away and yelped. Nothing happened, so she looked back. Agren was unconscious too, and his face and hair looked burned. Ball looked back at David again. His shirt was a mess of blood. He had been holding his nose before, but he wasn't conscious enough to keep it up anymore. 2 loud bangs were heard from the ceiling, "DORA! Call for help! David is in bleeding out and not waking up!"

"Already ahead of you! I've called 404! They're on their way!" Dora said

"Thank you! Thank you!" Ball shouted with some relief.
