While they were getting the rocks Frederick had his eyes behind the group, and into the sky.
Beta noticed he was looking elsewhere.

"What are you looking at?" She asked him.
Frederick pointed to the sky.
"First star's out early tonight," He said. There was indeed something bright in the sky, but it was barely dark out.
"Wow. Man, that stars pretty big," Beta said.

"That's not a star!" Mrs. Creed shouted. "That's a meteorite!"

"Now that I think about it stars are never that big," Frederick said putting his hand on his chin.
Gabby began to worry.
"Like, what should we, do?" She asked the group.

"Cover your eyes, but It'll probably just burn up in the atmosphere," Mrs. Creed said. They all watched it for a moment.
"Didn't I say to close your eyes?" Mrs. Creed looked at them all.
"I'm closing my eyes honey," Mr. Creed said. He had his hands over his eyes. Mrs. Creed signed.

"Guys I think it's getting closer," Frederick said.
It was indeed getting closer. Too close.
The party started to panic when they realized it was heading straight for them. They rushed about into each other, as the meteorite headed in for a landing.

Unlike what they thought, the meteorite crashed into a pile of trash instead of hitting them.
They all peeked out from a bolder they had all hid behind.
Oscar nervously laughed.
"Haha! We aren't the dinosaurs!" He shouted happily as he looked out from the bolder.

"Let's check it out," Tiffany said.
"Yeah!" Gabby said.
They both came out from behind the bolder, and walked up to the pile of trash. The rest of the group followed slowly over.
They climbed the pile and looked down into where the meteorite had landed.

"That isn't a meteorite!?" Mrs. Creed shouted.
"That's Ball!" Beta gasped.

It was indeed Ball. She was dazed with her eyes in swirls.
"Ball! Ball!" Oscar cried, but she wouldn't wake up. He looked up at the sky wondering where she came from.
"Wow.." Frederick breathed. He had never seen Ball before.

"Well don't just stand there!" Mr. Creed looked at them all, "Help her!" He took a step closer, but Frederick stopped him.
"Ball is a criminal! We shouldn't help her, we have to hand her over to the authorities!" Frederick said.
Mr. Creed threw Frederick's arm off of him.
"She just fell out of the sky! She could die if we don't do something!" Mr. Creed yelled back.
"What do you expect me to do for an inanimate object!?" Frederick shouted.
"She isn't inanimate! She's alive!" Mr. Creed pushed Frederick away from him. In retaliation Frederick tried to kick Creed in his crouch.

"Guys can't we all just use our words," Beta asked them.
"No!" They both yelled back. The boys were starting to wrestle by holding each other and trying to make one fall over. The awkward part was that Mr. Creed was a grown man doing this.

Beta looked back to Ball, and the rest of the group followed her gaze.
"We should.. we should," Beta lowered her head and pulled her hand through her hair for a second...
"We should get her while she's down," She hissed.
"No way!" Oscar yelled, but he didn't dare approach.
"Oh yeah?" She shuffled over to him.

Mrs. Creed caught Beta's shoulder. Before Creed could say anything Beta pushed her away.
"Don't..TOUCH ME!" She screamed.

Frederick looked over to her. Worriedly, he sunk under Mr. Creed's grasp and rushed over. Creed followed, at first only to chase him.

"What's going on?" Frederick asked Beta.
"Give me a hammer Frederick I'm gonna smash Ball's face in real quick.. before she gets out of my sight," Beta stared at Ball while having her arm reached out towards Fred. Her hand opened and closed asking for the hammer.

"We don't need to be so... all of a sudden. This is murder!" Frederick said.
Beta snapped at him.
"EXACTLY! And I'll keep killing her until she stays dead! She deserves this! She's a murderer and was conspiring and manipulating to try and get me! And she did it! SHE GOT MEE!" She had a fiery red tinted in her eyes. There was tears streaking down her face.
Beta looked into the pile and pulled out a rusty crowbar she then stomped back over to Ball.
Oscar dashed to Ball quicker and picked her up. He held her close after hoping a little backwards.

Beta growled.
"Agren!" She called. Agren came next to her.
Oscar looked over to the crowd in a help me sorta way.

"All right break it up," Mrs. Creed and Mr. Creed pushed Agren and Beta away from one another.
"What did I- SAY!" Beta said. She then promptly hit Mr. Creed in the face with her crowbar. He fell over backward holding his nose. In the trash he slid a little.
Mrs. Creed looked over to him. At the same time Agren was walking over to Oscar to get Ball from him.

"You ok honey?" Mrs. Creed asked her husband.
"DeEp frIed bReatHs," Mr. Creed said.

"Shoidn't we be doing somethoing?!" Gracie asked the her group.
"I don't know! This is like, really frightening!" Gabby said holding her hands to her head.
"Let them deal with it themselves," Tiffany said folding her arms.
Gracie turned to look at Oscar again.
"Io can't stoind here and watch thois! But yet oim too scoired to moive!" Gracie said to herself while holding her face.

Agren was was still trying to take Ball from Oscar, but Oscar kept her out of reach. Agren swiped as if he was playing basketball, but Oscar continued to walk backward away from him.

"UHG JUST GIVE IT UP," Agren screeched all of a sudden.
"NO!" Oscar backed up into a pothole in the trash. He fell over backward dropping Ball.
Agren ran past the hole and straight for her. Oscar scrambled to get up but kept falling over.

From the hole that he fell over in was some nice boots that were oddly together and facing the sky.
Rising from the trash like a vampire rose Diggs (the owner of the boots). With a shovel in her right hand, she tossed the thing in a perfectly guided arch straight to Agren's head.
Agren, just having picked up Ball didn't even realize what hit him until it did. Now he was unconscious just as Ball was.

"Diggs!" Oscar wept in the trash, "Thank you!"
"It's really no big deal," Diggs shrugged, emotionless. She looked at the small crowd. They had their mouths agape in awe at the calculated shovel throw and vampire like entrance. She smirked with pride and swaggered over to them.

"Well well well, looks like we got ourselves some glug glugs whose luck has just run out," She put her hands on her hips, "You oughta really appreciate those faces. Those looks of yours, all 18 of em, well we are missing 2 but, ya know what my favorite part of em are?"

Gracie raised her hand.
"Our ois?" She guessed.
"Good answer. It's very funny, but I was going to say skin. You guys all have lovely cell based skin. I'll miss those eyes too, glug glugs, I'll miss those eyes."

"That isn't right!" Beta shouted, "THIS ISN'T FAIR. I want Ball dead! This is my chance!" She still had angry tears drying on her face, and a rusty crowbar in her hand.

Diggs looked keenly in her eyes.
"Yet you still won't do it yourself," She took a step forward, "Give me your hand Beta Green."

Beta looked at the ground and shook her head, tears streaming down again.
Diggs spoke calmy to her.

"I think I understand the problem," She began to walk over, but did so very casually, "And it's a tragedy. An infinite disaster-"

Now that Diggs was close enough, Beta struck her crowbar from above. Diggs intercepted, catching Beta's hand.
"To be forced into being a demon.. upon death," Diggs continued.
Beta voluntarily collapsed into Diggs' arms.
She looked back to the woman's face after a moment.
"I, I, I..." She tried to start something, but her whimpers failed her.

"It's not your fault," Diggs said.
"Then...?" Beta looked around at the crowd. She let go of Diggs, terrified by the way everyone looked at her.
"I'm nOt.."

"What? An alien?" Diggs mocked.
"What? nO!" Beta cried.
Diggs shrugged.
"You can't exactly prove it, but what you really are is possessed, by your sister," Diggs said.
Beta looked at the ground again, before running away from the 17 people who were missing 2. She didn't even look back, for she couldn't stand to see those faces.

Katy looked out to Beta blankly.
"Uh," She looked back to the crowd, "I have to go and get..her. Don't think anything of it!" She walked on down the pile to bring Beta home.

"The One Who Digs!" Andrew waved at her, "Is that girl really possessed?!"
"Not right now. I banished the demon, but it can return," Diggs put her hands on her hips and looked at the sky.

From behind her Oscar had retrieved Ball. He walked up to Diggs with a frown.
"She's still not waking up," Oscar said. He played with her feet as he had done before.
"She'll wake when she needs to," Diggs looked down to him and shrugged, "Besides, she's the MC."
Diggs walked towards the crowd ready to go through them.

"I doin't like her oiminous smoig attitude," Gracie said quietly to her friends. Diggs walked behind her passing her by.
"POp!" She said flicking the back of Gracie's neck.
"Oiw," Gracie held her neck. Tiffany and Gabby chuckled at her.

Following Diggs, Oscar went quickly through the crowd to catch up with her.
"What should I do?" Oscar asked.
"Take her back to her Johnson," Diggs said, "-That is if you don't want to watch over her on your own."

Oscar stopped to think about this.
"I think her dad would be worried, so I'll take her home," He said.
"That's very predictable, but go ahead," Diggs turned around and shrugged at him again.

"Well what do you want me to do?" Oscar rushed over to her again, frustrated.
"Huh? I just said what you are doing is predictable. Not that it is unethical, or dumb," Diggs raised a brow.
"Than I'm going to go to my house then!" Oscar held her tighter.

Behind him Ethan, Robey, and the Creeds walked over to him.
"Oh hey," Oscar said seeing them.
Robey signed 'sorry'.
"Yeah, s-sorry about not helping you back there," Ethan said.
"It's ok. It can be hard to be brave sometimes," Oscar said softly, but sincerely.

Robey put his hand out to touch Ball's face. His eyebrows raised in curiosity.
"Isn't she just amazing?" Oscar said. He started to walk back to his van with his friends.

"Y'know, I think David might have a crush on her," Oscar smiled.
"Really?" Ethan asked.
"Yeah. They hang out all the time together. I think David might have a crush, but Ball isn't picking it up at all," Oscar said.
Robey signed 'Wow'.
