"I can't believe I overslept. How did I miss my alarm, Tikki?" Marinette rushed through the streets, past the park and towards the school while contemplating on how she could have woken up late. She was at least thirty minutes late.

Just then, a small red head peaked through her handbag, "Who could blame you, Marinette? You've had a rough couple days. First Truth and then Lies. It's no wonder you couldn't get enough sleep in eight hours," Tikki responded to her as she raced through the streets then was interrupted by none other than the police cop, Roger who blew his whistle, putting her blitz to a stop.

"What have I said, young lady? No running on the pavement on traffic days. It could lead to a road accident. Hey, aren't you supposed to be in school by now?"

To that, Marinette gave a nervous chuckle, "You know what. You're absolutely right, sir. I'll get to school right away but by speedwalking this time." She got away before he had time to reply, causing him to sigh but continue on with his work while she sped up. "Being the new guardian is harder than I thought, Tikki. I have to find a way to balance everything. But first, I have to figure out what I'm gonna tell Principal Damocles."

Making a turn, she bumped into someone, causing them both to fall to the ground. "Shouldn't you be more careful when you're running like that?" She looked up, being greeted by a boy about her age with black hair in dreadlocks and dark skin with dark blue eyes.

"Sorry about that. I'm always such a mess. I hope I didn't break anything of yours."

"Nah, it's all good. Hey, you were rushing off somewhere, weren't you? Do you happen to know where Francois Dupon Highschool is? I'm transferring there and I think the address got lost somewhere in my email box."

Marinette chuckled lightly, causing him to blush before he rubbed the back of his neck. "Sure, it's right this way. I'm Marinette by the way and I go there." They began moving in the direction of the school. It seemed as though the school girl had completely forgotten about her dilemma.

She noticed that the boy also had silver hoop earrings with a black hoodie and a blue paw mark on it as well as his phone and jeans having a green cat claw design on it.

"Yeah, I'm kind of a fan of cats. Cat Noir is just the coolest. He always has these jokes and quips and stays calm even when fighting those akumatized villains and Senti-monsters," He revealed after noticing her glee at his get-up. "Name's Konnor by the way."

Eventually, they got to school and the teenage girl hurriedly rushed to her seat, although she didn't go unnoticed by Mrs. Bustier. However, she had something more important to attend to.

"Hello, class. A new student will be joining us today. Please welcome Konnor Klyde into our classroom." Konnor walked into the class, not without throwing out a few gun-pose handsigns, prompting some of the class to let out a chuckle. "Konnor, please take the empty seat at the back."

He walked to the back, receiving stares from some of the students while also being thrown dominating glares at by none other than the class bully, Chloe Bourgeois.

"Too bad you're such a nobody or else I would have caught wind of your arrival and planned a special welcome for you." She snarkly commented but he just rolled his eyes as he took his seat. Directly behind Lila.

"Now, let's begin the class, shall we?" Miss Bustier began teaching.

'Ughh, his style is utterly disappointing. Just like the others, he fanboys over those goody two-shoes, Ladybug and Cat Noir. Utterly disappointing.' Chloe thought.

Class ended with Miss. Bustier assigning Konnor to Marinette since he had missed the first few weeks of the Semester in order for him to catch up. "Normally, I would let your step cousin take care of that. But I've heard that Marinette's tutoring offers the best and quickest results."

" That's cool. So I'll meet up at your place at 4:30?" Konnor asked after having input his number on her phone to which she nodded.

After a few classes, the day ended with him heading home.

He arrived in front of a houseboat with his step-cousin, Juleka and retired to his room which was basically a shrine to cats and with a nice gothic vibe. He laid on his black couch, staring at the ceiling. He was glad that he had moved here over a month ago with his mother and step-dad.

He stared at his phone, then sighed. 'Same as always. They're being held back by their work.' After some time, Konnor got up from his couch, grabbed his school bag and headed out, going past Luka who had just arrived from his own school. "Later, bro, I'm heading over to Marinette's place for tutoring."

"Marinette's place?" Luka asked, partly confused with a sad tone but Juleka arrived to comfort him and lead him inside.

Meanwhile...

"I can't believe you fumbled up something so simple, Miss. Nakoi."

"No, no, it's fine. I can just go back and-"

"There's no going back, Nakoi. You either do a good job the fiirst time or I let you loose. Seriously, are you a baby?" Bob Roth, manager of DJ XY threw away the papers his new secretary had messed up in front of her shoes.

Miss. Nakoi pleaded, "Please, sir. I need this job."

"Sorry, but you're fired. Now get out of my sight."

Miss Nakoi ran away, exiting his office and the building as well. A few minutes later, an akuma arrived and so did an amok. She tried to escape it, going out into the street and tried whacking it away with newspaper she found on the floor but the two entities fused into the newspaper, causing a face mask to appear around her.

"Yes, Shadow Moth! As long as I get my revenge on Bob Roth, I will bring you Ladybug and Cat Noir's miraculous." Black smoky-liquid engulfed her body until she was transformed. Her color palette was black and white with a black crown on her head and her left hand being a large, purple cannon. Apart from that, her Senti-monster was a large white-and-black bat creature which she glided on.

People ran away in a frenzy but one of the unfortunate ones was blasted by the new akumatized villain, Youth and became nothing less than a baby. Particularly, the newly transformed baby was a mother who had a baby in her stroller, leading to confusion between the both of them.

The sounds of cries reached the ears of multiple in Paris and it didn't take long before none other than the news anchor, Nadja Chamack reported news of a new villain. Marinette had been in her room, working on fixing it and getting the kwamis to hide in the sewing box which housed the Miracle Box when the news reached her computer.

She nodded to Tikki and transformed, "Spots on!!" She escaped through her balcony and Konnor walked in, a second later but spotted nobody in the room. He moved through the room.

"Wow, this girl has a lot of pictures of our classmate, Adrien Agreste. I never saw the appeal." He headed up to the balcony and inspected. She wasn't there either. He headed downstairs and to the bakery. "She's not upstairs. I think she might have headed out."

"Oh." Sabine let out a sound of surprise. "Well, you can stay here with us." Konnor pulled out his phone but quickly tucked it away after finding nothing interesting apart from the fact that there was a new akumatized villain and Senti-monster.

Just then, Tom, Marinette's father began rolling some doe and he couldn't help but be fascinated by the whole process until a fine pastry had been made, "Here, you can have it since you're one of Marinette's new friends."

Konnor nodded thankfully before trying the delicous croissant which was just so warm and savoury in his mouth that he had to have the second one on the plate. "Hey, can you teach me how to make one of these?! I think I'd like to be able to make some of these for myself."

Tom was absolutely elated by hearing that. Finally, someone who wanted to know the ways of the Baker, He thought and began to guide him on the whole process while Sabine was there to ensure her husband didn't go overboard.

An hour later...

Youth's Senti-monster let off a horrfying and overpowering Sonic Scream that Carapace tried stopping with his Shield but it blasted most of the heroes away. Ladybug had called upon the Turtle Hero, Carapace and the Horse Hero, Pegasus after her Lucky Charm had led her to do so which was nothing less than a broken parachute.

Cat Noir had already activated his Cataclysm and it wouldn't take long for him to transform back since he hadn't gotten the chance to use it. They cunningly avoided Youth's blasts but her Senti-monster was the real problem. Luckily, the two boys weren't the only heroes she had called upon.

"Mirage." Rena Rouge activated her power a couple metres away in a hidden location and created illusions of Ladybug and Catnoir fighting Youth and about to defeat her. It hurriedly rushed over, much to the confusion of the rea Youth when her Senti-monster distanced itself from her.

"Reality." The illusions ceased right before the Senti-monster tried to sonic scream. Carapace and Pegasus nodded to each other, being on platforms right above the creation of the peacock miraculous.

The Turtle Hero extended his shield outwards and called upon his superpower, "Shell-ter!" The green forcefield surrounded the entirety of the Senti-monster but it looked like it was about to break out in a couple of sonic screams until Pegasus activated his power and created a portal that lead to the desert in the middle of nowhere, making the Senti-monster no longer a threat to them.

"No!" Youth shouted and that gave Ladybug thd chance to sneak up behind her and use the parachute to block the end of her cannon arm, preventing the villain from using her power.

"Finally. In the nick of time." Cat Noir cataclysmed the cannon, releasing the Akuma and Amok which Ladybug captured and purified, releasing them from her yoyo.

"Bye, bye, little butterfly and feather."

"You can take it from here right, M'lady? I'm about to detransform. See you later!" With the help of his stick, Cat Noir had left the scene. The female heroine called upon her Miraculous Ladybug and fixed all the damages caused by Youth, turning those who were affected back to their normal ages.

After retrieving the miraculouses she had distributed, Ladybug offered to speak to Bob Roth for Miss. Nakoi. When that had been handled and the woman had been given her job back, she was about to transform back and just remembered about Konnor. "Oh, no!"

The Bakery's door was opened by a teenage girl, "Sorry, I completely forgot. Something came up and I just... Huh?" She was surprised to see Konnor making pastries with her parents.

"Oh, Marinette. Your parents are teaching me how to make these amazing pastries." Konnor commented with a goofy smile on his face. Tom rushed to her with a plate of croissants on it, urging her to try them. She took a bite from them and found that they were really good.

"Wow! You really made this. These are incredible for a first try, Konnor."

Konnor let out a grin the same time as Tom, causing Marinette and her mother to laugh.
