So...Took a while to get to this chapter because I always get anxious before writing what is supposed to be a fight scene particularly if there is supposed to be a lot of elaborate 'Choreography' in it...It's so much less stressful just to write characters sitting around and chatting as its easy for me to just let the conversation flow one thing leading naturally to the other as I imagine both characters' reactions bouncing off each other
That was when the Boxers finally decided to burst in, as Don knew they would as he knew the tracking device was still working.
Looking around, they spotted Dana tied up in the sticky vines in the corner, right underneath was a platform one could climb up to be in reach to try to free Dana from the vines.
And fortunately Von Kaiser loaned Joe a long knife from his army days just for this occasion.
"Don't worry Ma Chere…" Joe said as he began to approach the platform, his very use of that term of endearment was him finally confessing he loved her in return "...I'll get you down from there!"
"Ugh…" The Little Man's groan came loud and clear on the PA system "...I had a feeling you low life ruffians would also come fortunately we have more than enough vines to…"
But as he began to push the buttons to operate the vines...And nothing happened...He realized to his horror that all the vines had indeed already been spent on the Turtles...The vines being as massively thick as they were, there were only so many that could be fitted in this warehouse, and in the previous struggle it took at least four vines each for each Turtle to ensnare each arm and leg and with the sap being as strong as super glue...No amount of pushing the buttons could get the vines to untangle themselves now that they had already ensnared something!
"Oh no…" The Little Man said realizing he had already spent all of they secret weapon! So quickly he called in Plan B! Getting the Goons, each armed with a machine gun to gun down the Boxers!
However the Boxers were prepared for this and the battle the Turtles saw before them was not one they would ever forget!
As the Goons began to rush in, Great Tiger leapt in the air and gave his battle cry to do his 'Mirage Dance' using two of his 'illusion clones' one in the back and one to pincer the opponents, the Goons had no idea which was which so the real Great Tiger was able to barrel through them knocking the guns out of their hands...The Goons were all a bunch of nerdy scientists, hence they were all small weedy types, dependent on firearms they were completely at the mercy of the 'Jocks' they feared and hated in High School as now they were in a boxing match!
Great Tiger exhausted after his Mirage Dance briefly had to rest, but the Turtles could see as Bear Hugger gently laid him down a Squirrel came out from under Bear Hugger's hat and began climbing up the wall.
And the other Boxers, were using their various other gimmicks to bewilder and intimidate the Scientist Goons to keep them from trying to pick up their guns and leaving themselves open to being punched in the face and knocked out because they were just so mesmerized by the boxers antics, Disco Kid's 'Boxercise' movies, Don Flamenco's Flamenco moves before unleashing his 'Rose Flurry' series of hooks seeing the Boxers make complete and utter fools of these goons...Leo saw their 'dirty tricks' in a new light in his obsession with honor, he realized he had forgotten what the Humanimals of First Earth emphasized as one of the traditional lessons learned from the Rabbit-People when all seems stacked against you 'Be cunning and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed…'
And 'Tricks' was what the Little Man called it seeing his minions getting beaten to a bloody pulp "Stop being cowed by their theatrics!" The Little Man shouted, with no way of knowing Bear Hugger's pet squirrel was currently chewing the wires that kept his control room locked "They're nothing but cheap carnival tricks!"
As he said that he heard his power doors open followed by the guttural cry of Aran Ryan, seeing the beady eyes and yellowing grin of the most infamously dirty fighter in the WVBA, the Little Man could only say
"Change of plans...Piddle self...RUN!"
And thus the Little Man ran for his life...Exit pursued by insane...Boxer…
Yeah so many little things I wanted to put in, I just wanted to make sure I was in the right mood to right it and that everything else was perfect, these are the chapters I feel like I'm about to conduct a symphony and like Bugs Bunny I was to shoot any distractions with a revolver
