A small Omake related to the story

Roronoa Zoro was a simple man.

He wakes up. Has early training. Eat breakfast. Rest. Wakes up. Eats. Rest. Repeat.

As a swordsman wanting to be the best, he must maintain his training everyday. Even more after having survived-

Nay, more likely, was spared by Dracula Mihawk that day.

The scar left in his chest by his sword, Yoru, Zoro understood one important thing.

If he wants to have even a shot at him, he must go beyond ordinary. He must be more!

For his promise to his dead friend. For his promise to his idiotic, rubber captain. For his dream.

That's why he began to train like a mad-man in the middle of a storm. He needed to train more.

The chill environment of this island was great for endurance for him. And considering that he was in guard-duty while everyone was heading to get Nami some medical help, it's perfect for him to pass time. Besides, what can go wrong in the middle of training?

"Where is Merry!?" Zoro asked, his body half-baked and sporting snow and blue skin. "Did they steal it!?" He didn't understand how he lost sight of such a big ship.

He just went to swim for a moment!

Well, at least the Duck is still there, so everything will be okay with Merry.

Meanwhile, a frozen Carue floats around the cold water, having been submerged for too long in the sea to find Zoro after he had 'possibly' drowned.

"Achoo! Damn this cold!" Zoro sneezes as he walks through the snow, trying to either find the Merry or a town to get some warmth. "Damn old hag! She could have at least told me about the nearest town!" He cursed the old woman in a sled for his predicament.

How was he supposed to know she didn't like being called old?!

Thankfully, after some time, he found civilization. "Finally, a town!" He grinned as he quickly fastened his pace.

But his joy turned into shock when he saw the village covered in snow and smashed. "What the Hell?" He walked forward through the damaged place, seeing houses buried in snow. "Who did this?"

"Alright, you better start moving!"

Zoro perked up when he heard a voice. Following it, he quickly peeked around a hill and saw several men wearing the same outfit that Wapol guy had, ordering and aiming their weapons at the villagers, who were led somewhere.

"Hey!" A soldier spoke to another.

"Yeah?"

"Do you ever wonder why we are here?"

"Hmph! That's one of life's greatest mysteries, isn't it? Why are we here? I mean, are we the product of some cosmic coincidence, or is there really a God watching everything? You know, with a plan for us and stuff. I don't know, man, but it keeps me up at night."

"...What? No! I mean, why are we here!" The soldiers turned to the scared and angry civilians. "King Wapol has already punished these idiots and has left for the Castle! Why aren't we going with him?!"

"Oh…that…Just to make sure that they don't try and get help from the other villages or meddle with King Wapol before he gets his arsenal ready."

"Oh…that makes sense."

"…Yeah."

"...So, that stuff of God-"

"Hey, guys! Guess what?!" That conversation was stopped when a soldier joined in, "I think we captured that monster that followed that quack of a doctor!"

"No shit?! I thought that thing was killed!"

"Yeah, see for yourself!" He said while pointing at a group that were pulling a cage, where a young gorilla in a baby outfit was…sucking on its thumb while looking curiously.

"...It…looks different." The cage was dropped on the side as the group carrying it sighs and leaves.

"No shit. It looked more like a child; it's child?"

"Maybe, but whatever. Is just another abomination to kill before it hurts anyone."

"...And why-"

"We decided to leave King Wapol to do the honor."

"Okay, makes sense, but is it wise?"

"Don't know. What you'd say Terry-" The soldier turned to ask his friend, only to see nobody. "...When he left?"

"Meh. Probably got bored and went somewhere. Now, come! Let's get things finished once King Wapol sends the signal." The soldiers left.

If they had stayed a bit longer, they would have noticed Zoro, dressed in winter clothes, coming out in relief. "Finally! Warm clothes." He said while ignoring the grunts of pain from the soldier that he captured and put unconscious. "Now then, back to finding Merry-" He said before seeing the cage, and seeing Kiddy in the cage, looking calm and curious. "Huh…He looks like DK if he was smaller…" Curious, he walked up to the cage.

"Okie?" Kiddy turned to the side when he heard footsteps coming his way. He looked to the side and saw a man with green hair getting close.

"Hey there." Zoro greeted. "Say, you don't know me and I could be wrong, but you look like a Gorilla I recently met and said that he was looking for some of his kin. Do you know Donkey Kong?"

At that, Kiddy widened his eyes and he rolled to the bars and looked at Zoro with joy and expectations. "Ook! Ook! Ook!"

"I'll take that as a yes."

"Hey!" A soldier shouted as he came, aiming his gun at Zoro, "Who are you?! You aren't one of us! Move back from the cage-"

*Zoom! Slash!*

"Hmm, not Shiketsu or Yubarashi, but it works for now." Zoro hummed as he had used the sword he 'acquired' from the other guard and had used it to cut the shooter down in an instant.

"Ooooooooo…" Kiddy, from his cage, clapped at the display, having enjoyed the act.

"Now then, DK is doing something for a friend of ours. If you want, you can come with me to our ship and wait for him there." Zoro said.

*Grip! Gring!*

"Wow." Zoro whistles in surprise when Kiddy grabs the bars and easily bends them, allowing him to get out. "Talk about strength."

"Freeze!"

Before Zoro knew it, he and Kiddy were surrounded by the rest of the army.

"You're one of the pirates, aren't you!?" The soldier, who appeared to be a commander, asked, "Surrender yourself and accept the penalty for defying the King!"

Zoro hmph at that, moving to cover Kiddy from danger. "King? Is that metal lard a king? Color me NOT impressed NOR threatening."

"Grrr! Such insolence!" The Commander growled before motioning to his men to prepare to fire. "Fill him with bullets-"

*Splat!*

Whatever he was going to say stopped when a snowball hit his face.

Zoro blinks in confusion before looking down, seeing Kiddy grinning while holding a snowball. "Okie!" He chuckled as if this was a game.

"...Kill the little shit!"

"Oh shit!"

Shots were being sent as Zoro quickly grabbed Kiddy and ran out of the way.

"Hang on!" Zoro said as he went for cover behind a broken home, having all the attention. "Alright. This is not what I was expecting. But then again, I'm in need of some form of training." He turned to Kiddy, "Okay, kid. I'm going to…" Or rather he would if Kiddy would have been in his arms. "What the?! Didn't I pick him up?!"

"Agh!"

"Ugh!

"What-ack!"

Zoro heard a commotion as he peered at the side where he saw soldiers getting knocked by snowballs from above a hill that…Kiddy was?!

"Rascal can move fast!" Zoro shouted.

"The pirate! Kill him!"

Zoro quickly moved and in an instant, appeared in front of a shooter, swiping forward and cutting the gun in half, the gunpowder exploding on the face of the soldier. The swordsman quickly moved to cut another enemy, taking their sword as well. "Alright, two-swords will be."

Meanwhile, Kiddy clapped his hands at seeing the green sword human defeat the human kremlings, enjoying the show before he decided he also wanted to play. He leapt from the hill and barrel rolled down, hitting several 'kremlings' on the way like bowling pins. He then jumped and landed on someone's face, making them scream as Kiddy hugged tight, too much as the poor fool flopped down unconscious and with (probably) head trauma.

"What the heck?!"

"A-A monster!"

"Quick, shoot it!"

Guns were pointed at the infant, but as they fired, no bullet reached as Zoro had materialized in front of him and cut every bullet, making the soldier freeze in fear.

"Tch! Attacking a child and calling it a monster? Despicable." Zoro said as he looked at Kiddy, who was staring at him in awe. "Hey kid! This is no playground! Either go and hide or get serious!"

Now normally, this way of speaking is in NO way to speak to a child. But given that this is a world of piracy, his concern over a child is understandable.

He might be a pirate now, but Zoro is not heartless.

"Hookie!" Kiddy nodded firmly…and leaped on Zoro's back.

"Hey! What are you doing?! Get off!" Zoro yelled as he tried to get the gorilla off.

"Okie!" Kiddy simply held tight as he pointed at the enemy, who were awkwardly and dumbly staring at them.

Zoro stopped as he saw the look in the eyes of the Kong, a burning determination. "...Alright, fine. Just don't get in my way."

"Hooo!"

"Kill them!"

Drum Kingdom Record #2

This is the record regarding the One day War between the Straw Hat's Pirates and the Former King of the Drum Kingdom.

An incident happened near the town of Big Horn after King Wapol of Drum had attacked the village. As the villagers were rounded in a separate location for later to be judged, the soldiers left to guard were attacked by two individuals; one swordsman, who later would be identified as Roronoa Zoro, Vice-Captain of the Straw Hat's Pirates. The other was a creature that resembled a small gorilla dressed in a baby outfit. Sources said that they were related to the gorilla accompanying the pirates, who later would be identified as 'Simian King' Donkey Kong.

According to resources, the pirate and child(?) took on the army and with ease defeated them. Embarrassing the former Drum Kingdom's reputation. The villagers managed to escape safely and recovered the Isshi-Ten, now named Isshi-Hundred, who were forcefully captured and put to work for Wapol at the time.

Once the battle was over, both swordsman and child simply banished, leaving behind beaten enemies, free weapons and a giant burning campfire that was 'conveniently' made in the middle of the fight. Allowing the village to apprehend the enemy and take control.

While it is now impossible, Big Horn is in huge debt for these two heroes. And we pray that their journey is fulfilled.

( Back to Reality)

Kiddy coo from the railing of the Merry, seeing the vast ocean. It's been a while since the fight was over and Zoro 'somehow' managed to find the Going Merry.

"Impressive, eh?" Zoro asked, standing next to him. "Welcome to our world. This is just a tiny fraction of what it is…at least with how Mario said."

"Hooooo…"

*Boom!*Boom!*Boom!*Boom!*Boom!*

They yelp when they hear booming sounds. Turning behind, they suddenly saw the mountains being covered in pink color, forming the symbol of the upcoming kingdom.

"Huh…that's something you don't see every day." Zoro commented. "Never seen cotton candy that big before."

"Hooo! Okie! Hooo!" Kiddy claps in amazement.

It wasn't long before the rest of the crew arrived.

"There you guys are!"
