Prologue Batty
I don't own the Pender Wicks rice belongs to Jean Bird's song
this chapter takes place when Betty is not even born yet of course it is. I'm making some changes Mrs. Pinder or Elizabeth Pinder isn't dead never died in this story and the whole family is together, but I'll come up with that soon. This will take place four years ago.
it's taking place four years before they went to Arrindale Hall and any of those things. I hope you enjoy this fun new family story of the Pender Wicks.
The girls are much much younger.
OK, then let us get started shall we?
four years from that summer.
Elizabeth Pinder was giving birth. Please push Martin said, and the doctors encouragingly his daughters waited outside their daughters. Their three other daughters Rosalind, Skye, and Jane all waited until batty birth anticipation of what would happen to their mother and was they both survived or not.
Push they heard their father saying they bet in the room where Elizabeth was giving birth push he says She did it. She was told I screen came out of her. The sisters outside the room winced at the scream, but that meant she was pushing the baby.
come on dear push he says you almost have it. He says encouragingly. The girls also encouraged their mother from outside. Come on Mom. They said come on. You can do this. You can do this Mom.
You can do this you can do this. They said you can do this.
Come on Mom Martin also gave more encouraging words to his wife to give birth come on you almost have her. The doctors and a nurse saw that had come on curly hair curly brown hair had popped out and they said encouraging.
Then it was done the baby was born. What should we name her darling Elizabeth after you you name her Elizabeth she said call her daddy. I think she has a sense of humor. She said I needed to recover the baby first and that his mother was at her mother's breath and then he left the room for a moment.
Is Mother gonna be all right Roslyn asked her father yes I think so. Martin said, looking at his young oldest daughter I think so.
After their mother was checked out and was seen healthy, no sickness the sickness had passed after the birth of the baby. She was OK to go home later and they did both mother and father I mean both mother and child were fine now it was time to go home. They took a little Betty Elizabeth home with them. Betty Elizabeth Pinder they called her, but people just called her bad.
and the arrangements of the rooms were changed when Betty was born children got rearranged into new rooms. Jane moved in with Sky and they painted her room lavender and was putting into Jen's room. The new nursery in their house wasn't that big so it was only big enough for them Martin will have to rebuild. She said we need to make the house bigger. It's fine now he says the girls will be fine. Sharing a room. Sky and Jane will be fine.
The sky and Jane weren't fine. They never got along and they always argued. They hated sharing a room.
And Skye blended on Betty. She was fine that Betty Elizabeth was born, but she was also upset about sharing a room with her sister. She didn't like sharing a room with with Jane, who is always neat, and her staff would flutter to her side of the room and she would complain to Jane about keeping things on her side of the room, I'm sorry but I can't help it. You have to get over it. Why do I need to get over sharing a room with you Jane? You're always messy now girls their mother would say.
is that a way to behave yourselves? She said please girls behave please find mother they would say we will behave ourselves. Good girls she would say back.
good we will be one happy family one day and we are now will be even happier soon with the baby growing. We will be good. Our family will be good she said and we will all behave ourselves Jane and yes, Mother.
And Sky, please do not blame the baddie for your existence, and with Jane just think of this as an adventure she said, petting her daughter on the head OK sky said I'll try. That's a good girl she said.
that is good let's go and do something else and they did and that was the end of it for now they got along for the time being their mother was there and that's all that mattered right yes that's what mattered to them the four sisters and her mother and their father.
and now I end this wonderful chapter we'll get into what happened in the actual story soon our trip to Arrendale all of that kind of stuff but changed because they'll have their mother with them. I hope you enjoy this chapter. Thank you.
see you in the next chapter
