Chapter 15 - Star the Underestimated vs Solaria the Monster Carver
Solaria's battle chamber, Solarian Base, New Mewni
The door slides close behind Star Butterfly as she walks up toward Solaria with her hand, now transformed into a blue energy sword in hand as Solaria raise her energy sword at Star ready to fight. Solaria can feel the tension between her and Star, and she knows that this fight will be a true fight between Star and herself. No more interruption, no blue hedgehog, no ghost, no Eggman Nega. This will be the one true fight against what everyone called 'Star the Underestimated', the former princess of Mewni who ruined Mewni and destroyed the Realm of Magic and somehow regain her powers.
No words were spoken between Star and Solaria as the two clash swords against each other. Star and Solaria rush and jump all over the chamber, laying each other hits at each other while avoiding attacks from each other at their top speed as sparks fly from their energy blades clash at each other. Star focus all her full strength in this sword fight, same with Solaria as our heroes watch the most intense sword fight ever through the door's window cheering for Star as Eggman Nega and Mina Loveberry watch the fight from a monitor in the Egg Gloomfly chamber as Mina cheered for Solaria while Eggman Nega remain silent as they watch the sword fight which remind him of stories of an order of warrior peacekeepers who wielded similar energy blade weapons and have great telekinesis powers from another neighboring galaxy far away from their own.
Star's and Solaria's clash their swords fighting for what they believe in, for their ideals, for New Mewni's future. light trail from both Star's and Solaria's energy blades dances around them as the blades clash with each other as Star and Solaria fight harder and determine to win with their full strength while damaging some of the warrior statues along with the room they are in. Both Star Butterfly and Solaria Butterfly at their full strength and using all their skills, either one backing down or tired or even stopping as if they were two immovable and unstoppable equal forces with their passion burning deep inside their spirits. Both heroes and villains can agree that both Star and Solaria are equal forces that will not stop until one will stand victorious and will one fall in defeat.
The sword fight between Star and Solaria seems it could last forever, but Solaria finally made a wrong step which gave Star an opening. Star rush up to Solaria, and using all her energy, skill, and strength, Star Butterfly knock Solaria's sword out of her hands and push a now unarmed Solaria to the ground and quickly Star armed the tip of her energy sword at Solaria's face, showing Solaria that Star Butterfly, Star the Underestimated has won. Solaria thinks that Star is going to finish her off once and for all. But that never happened, instead Star transformed her sword back to its wand form and finally spoke to Solaria.
"Solaria, the war between mewmans and monsters that the original Solaria started, the war YOU started, has been over for centuries. Mewmans, monsters, and now humans of New Mewni are now friends, true not all of them, but we finally move pass the hatred and we can finally get along with each other. That's what New Mewni is what Mewni should be."
"Why should I list to you, you betrayed your people for monster, just like my daughter did."
"Yes, Eclipsa did, only because she fell in love with Globgor, not for power or anything."
"Wait... what...? My daughter... my Eclipsa... in love with a monster...?"
A few seconds of silence pass as Star just found out that Solaria didn't know about Eclipsa's love for Globgor, then spoke again.
"You didn't know... didn't you? Solaria... what did Mina told you about Eclipsa?"
"Well..." Solaria began in a confused voice, "Mina said that you and Eclipsa help the monsters by destroying the Realm of Magic, allowing monster to take over Mewni."
"Ok, me and Eclipsa did destroyed the Realm of Magic only because there was no other choice and we have to stop her from killing innocent monsters after she and her Solarian Warriors betrayed us in order to wage an unnecessary war to wipe out all monsters, all in the name of the original Solaria."
"Original Solaria? But I am Solaria?"
"I hate to break this to you, but the real Solaria Butterfly died in the ambush leaded by Seth centuries ago. You... are a clone of the original... which technically means that you are NOT the real Solaria, but a fake clone copy of her with her memories up until her death. Mina Loveberry... the friend you once knew... lied to you."
After what Star just told her. Solaria... the clone of the original went into shock and through Star was lying to her.
"No, I'm Solaria Butterfly, I'm still alive, you must be lying?"
"Star speaks the true, you are a clone." said a ghostly voice as the ghost of the real Solaria Butterfly appeared beside Star which shock our heroes watching through the door's window with so many questions in their minds as Glossaryck appeared hovering down beside the ghost from out of nowhere to greet the clone and Star. The clone stare at her ghost counterpart, confused on what is happening.
"W... WH... WHO ARE YOU?" asked Solaria to which Ghost Solaria replied, "Hello Solaria Butterfly, I am REAL Solaria Butterfly... well the ghost of the real me that is."
"Ok, I know you have so many questions, but Star and her friends need to save Meteora and New Mewni." interrupted Glossaryck, then he snaps his fingers and suddenly the doors at both ends slides open allow the rest of our heroes to enter to meet up with Star.
"Star, you better go and save the world, me and ghost Solaria will handle with clone Soalaria." said Glossaryck. Normal Star will want an explanation from Glossaryck, but right now, stopping Mina and Eggman Nega and saving Meteora and New Mewni. So she told everyone to get going to the chamber's exit, leaving ghost Solaria and Glossaryck with clone Solaria.
"So wait... you are the REAL Solaria which means..."
"The 'traitor' you were fighting was telling the true, and Mina is the real traitor." answered ghost Solaria in her ghostly voice as she and Glossaryck began explaining to clone Solaria about everything, how the original Solaria died, Eclipsa's wrongful imprisonment, Festivia, the Magic High Commission, Star Butterfly, Mina Loveberry's betrayal, the destruction of the Realm of Magic to stop Mina. But what shock the Solaria clone the most is learning that Meteora is Eclipsa's daughter which make Meteora... Solaria's granddaughter.
"OH MY MEWNI... WHAT HAVE I DONE!" said clone Solaria as she put what she learned from her ghost counterpart. She finally learned the true. She still can't believe that she was the villain in all of this and now her fighting spirit was replace with guilt about trying to hurt Star and everyone in Echo Creek and Eclipsa now that she see that they were never the real villains while feeling stupid about her recent actions.
"Please other... no please SOLARIA, I am so sorry, I thought I was doing the right thing. I didn't know about all of this, even about me being a clone of YOU."
"Now calm down other Solaria," began Glossaryck, "it just like you said, you thought you were doing the right thing. Same with the real Solaria and the Magic High Commission. Even as a clone you were fighting for what you believe in same as Star and her friend."
"However there is still a chance for both you and me to make amends of our mistakes." said ghost Solaria to which clone Solaria replied, "What do you mean?"
"How do you like to regain your memories?"
"Yes," began Glossaryck, "If you want, ghost Solaria has agreed to transfer her memories from her time when she was alive and as a ghost no strings attached, but that's entirety up to you. But I know that Star will need your help to fight Mina."
"Are you sure?"
"I'm totally sure," began ghost Solaria, "But either if you have my memories or not, I need you to promise me something."
"And that is?" asked clone Solaria to which her ghost counterpart answered, "Promise me that you'll make amends with Eclipsa, for both of us."
Solarian Forest, New Mewni
Meanwhile at the edge of the Solarian Forest we find Globgor and River waiting to meet with Eclipsa, Moon and Janna. Suddenly a portal opened from behind them and when they turned around, they saw Eclipsa, Moon, and Janna exiting the portal followed by the G.U.N Commander and a whole dozen of soldiers and robots with the words G.U.N on their armor.
"HOLY COW!" shouted Globgor as he and River saw the G.U.N soldiers and robots marching out of the portal. Before our heroes left, Tails give Eclipsa, Janna, and Moon his M.E.D.E.L device which has the G.U.N Headquarters coordinates programed in it and told them ask G.U.N for backup since G.U.N also want to put Mina behind bars for her attack on Speed Highway yesterday.
"Globgor, River, this is the commander of the Guardian Units of Nations or G.U.N for short." introduce Moon as Globgor replied "G-U-N, GUN really your acronym is GUN?" then River replied, "I agreed what not shield since Tails told us that you are one of Mobius' peacekeepers"
"First off Mr. Globgor and Mr. River, someone already told the acronym for shield, second G.U.N is mobius' international military and security organization as well as the national defense forces of the United Federation, one of Mobius' nations and the reason we're send here to help you is because Mina Loveberry post a big threat to my planet since those Solarian Warriors are now capable of launching a full on attack on Mobius if they ever succeed their goals here on New Mewni."
"Well either way I'm glad your president allows you to being some of G.U.N forces here to help us in our darkest hour." said Moon as River replied, "Well I don't care what you're called, we should hurry and help Star and her friends. They may be getting close to Mina by now."
Solarian Base, New Mewni
Back to our heroes, after once again fighting their way through enemies and avoiding traps, they finally reach the main metallic doors to the Egg Gloomfly chamber. The doors slowly slide open to reveal a giant, dome shaped room and at the center our heroes spotted Mina Loveberry with an energy sword similar to Solaria's sword in hand, standing beside a cage which holds Meteora inside. This is Sonic and his friends first time seeing Mina in person who match what Star's description and who's hair style remind Sonic of one of the stories of Earth's own heroes in the Sol Star System, a hero who is named after Earth's moon. Our heroes carefully approach Mina, knowing that Eggman Nega and his Egg Gloomfly could be anywhere.
"Well you finally made it mud sister, and this must be that blue hedgehog and his freaks of friends that been messing with the Solarian Warrior army." said Mina as she raises her energy sword at our heroes.
"Mud sister?" asked Tails to which Marco replied, "It's a long story Tails, but now's not the right time."
"So this is Mina Loveberry, the leader of the Solarian Warriors? She looks like a miscolored Sailor Moon cosplayer." taunt Rouge. Star never heard of this 'Sailor Moon' and wonder who 'Sailor Moon' is. But this is no time to questions right now.
"It's over Loveberry, half of your pathetic Solarian Warriors are defeated, captured or fled, Solaria is defeated, and now there is only you and Eggman Nega." said Shadow, then Dr. Eggman replied, "Speaking of which, where is he anyway."
"Right above you." replied Eggman Nega. our heroes look up to see a falling giant robot skull with black eyes with dark purple pupils and dark purple wings as it uses a very advance hover tech engine on its back to hover beside Meteora's left side looking menacingly as our heroes spotted Eggman Nega in the cockpit on top of the giant robot skull.
"SWEET MOBIUS, THAT MUST BE EGG GLOOMFLY!" yelled Tails, then Knuckles replied, "I can sense both the last remaining Master Emerald shards and the two Chaos Emeralds energy coming from within that robot monstrosity."
"OH MY CORN, that's THE biggest robot skull head I ever seen." said Pony Head in shock as Tom replied, "Yeah I agree with Pony Head on that. We're in over our heads this time Star."
"Oh come on you two, we dealt with something like Egg Gloomfly before." said Star trying to give her friends confidence as she transforms her wand into its blue energy sword form. Then Sonic replied with confidence in his voice, "Yeah, me and my friends dealt with something like this in the past, if it built by Eggman or even Eggman Nega, their machines would break apart eventually. Now let's show them what we're made of."
"YEAH" shouted everyone.
"You fools have no idea what awesome destructive power of this fully operational Egg Gloomfly can really do." shouted Eggman Nega from his Egg Gloomfly cockpit as Mina replied, "You monster lovers foiled our plans for the last, now face the full wrath of my Solarian Justice."
Then Star, Sonic, and their friends rush towards the villains as the final battle has begun.

This chapter was hard to write up between the sword duel between Star and Solaria and the opening the final boss fight for the next chapter.
