"What happened to me?" A young man asked while he floated through a vast void of empty space before a green tinted videogame styled screen appeared in front of him.

[Greetings. You have been selected for reincarnation as an agent of the MGG aka the multiversal gamers guild. You have been given a gamer system tailored to your preferences in terms of RPG mechanics.

Your name, backstory and character have all been randomly generated along with your stats.

All your meta knowledge about the world you're going to has been erased from your mind.

You are starting the game with a perk due to your X-gene mutation.]

Perk!

Name: Initiate Psionic

Rank: 1

You have awakened the powers of your mind and have gained the following skills.

Telekinesis: 1/100

Telepathy: 1/100

"That is a lot to take in all at once…Also, what is an X-gene exactly?" The young man asked with slight worry but found no answer from the disembodied being that controlled the game like screens.

[This game has no tutorial, so you'll need to figure stuff out on your own. You're going to be spawned in a…messy situation to say the least, so try your best.]

After seeing the last game screen, the young man only saw darkness before he drifted into unconsciousness.

Village on the outskirts of Transylvania

When Abel opened his eyes, he saw that he was hiding in a forest and that dozens of memories filled his mind. Memories of his life in the village and his family. The Van-Helsing's. Just another simply family home until his powers manifested when he tried helping the little neighbor girl rescue her cat from a tree.

His powers just kicked in and he lifted the cat with his Telekinesis and gently placed it on the ground with confusion and awe. The girl ran and told her parents and that in turn started the witch hunt.

Abel's family was slaughtered, and he barely managed to get away and hide in the forest to catch his breath, but the rest didn't last long when Abel heard the angry mob getting closer with torches, pitchforks and dogs barking.

"Right, gamer powers. Hopefully the different types of fanfics and manga can offer me some guidance." Abel said to himself before he quickly got up and started running north as fast as he could.

Gunshots rang out nearby while the dogs barked louder and louder while Abel ran until one dog caught up with him and grabbed his right arm in a painful bite making him scream in pain before he activated his telekinesis on reflex and pushed the dog off him and down onto the ground.

"Holy shit." Abel cursed in shock at how easy and natural the power felt along with how he basically assumed the Force worked from Star Wars. But the moment of success and shock quickly vanished when he was forced to hit the ground hard as a gunshot tore through his shoulder.

The pain was excruciating, and Abel barely managed to force himself up to his feet and keep running as another gunshot hit a tree he passed and showed that the shot would have hit his head if he hadn't moved.

Abel called upon his powers again and placed some fallen branches behind him to hinder the dogs and the angry crowd that had managed to catch up to him.

Abel wasn't physically fit, and he noticed that unlike in most gamer settings. His skills didn't update automatically, and his telekinesis was still level one and that meant that the heaviest object he could even move was a moderately sized rock weighing at least fifteen pounds.

"How the hell am I supposed to survive all of this?" Abel asked himself with tears slowly blinding him while he ran. The pain in his body along with the emotional turmoil nearly caused him to stop running and accept his fate.

Being reincarnated was supposed to be easy. Not caring about other people and simply level grinding until you're a God. But Abel's new reality was far from that ideal. He knew his family had died and it hurt worse than anything else. The damaged shoulder hurt and felt like his shoulder was on fire. The bite marks from the dog bite stung and burned to a lesser extent. The feeling of betrayal from his fellow villagers hurt the least but the pain was still there.

The MGG or whatever wanted Abel to suffer, he was sure of that. They were like the Greek emperors and God's who took joy from watching people suffer, but Abel didn't want them to have any satisfaction over his demise. Abel swore to rise above this challenge no matter what.

His breath was labored, and he only kept running thanks to the last drops of stamina in his body until he tripped over a fallen tree branch and hit the ground. His body was exhausted and damaged. He could barely turn around and see the villagers nearing him.

"There's the mutant!"

"Kill the demon!"

"We can't let a monster taint this world!"

The dogs had been kept on chains as if to add to the fear they were instilling, and Abel was ashamed to say that it worked. He couldn't get up and run again, he was too tired, and his telekinesis power had hit its limit. Meaning that whatever energy it used had all been drained.

"Stay back!" Abel shouted as loud as he could while tightly grabbing a large, pointed stick off the ground that he pointed towards the people. One man rushed with his pitchfork ready to kill Abel who felt his life flash before his eyes as he prepared to die despite his vow to stay alive, and just when the villager got close, he was knocked back by a powerful punch coming from a fair skinned man the size and stature of the Incredible Hulk, minus the green skin and screams obviously.

The man is wearing a full body suit of black and purple colors with matching gloves and boots along with a headband that held back his brown spiky hair.

"Time to get back fuckers!" The man shouted while the crowd became hesitant to step forward after seeing once of their own get sent into a tree with a newly acquired set of broken ribs and a fractured spine.

Abel also noticed that despite his game themed powers, he couldn't see the person's name or level which caused him to speak up.

"Thanks, but who are you?"

"Introductions later tiny." The man said bluntly, and Abel could understand and accept that answer when several villagers charged forwards and the man swatted them away like flies.

Suddenly Abel felt himself getting lifted into the air causing him to look around and see that he was somehow seated on a large circular shaped red disk of energy that spun him around and pulled him closer to a group of people that Abel didn't recognize at all.

"Not bad making it this far own your own." A blonde girl said while lowering her extended hand down to the ground showing that she was the one in control of the energy disk before another girl walked up to him and started looking him over with a first aid kit in hand.

This girl was rather short with tanned skin and yellow catlike eyes and pointed ears. Short black hair and she couldn't have been older than fifteen or fourteen.

"Your shoulder is messed up, but the bullet seems to have just gone through instead of getting lodged in the cartilage or anything. I'll stop the bleeding, but you'll need some surgery. Are you okay with letting me patch you up?"

"Yes. I think the blood loss is finally getting to me. Who are you by the way?" Abel asked when the adrenaline started wearing off and he started feeling lightheaded.

"Call me Catseye. I'm not comfortable exchanging names in the middle of a crowd of angry mutant haters."

"Fair enough." Abel said before he saw that the red headed girl of the group entered the battle by flying into the air and blasting the mob back with blasts of concentrated heat that hit the ground around them until they scattered along with the bulky man throwing one of the slower villagers crashing into the fleeing group. "Who are you guys?"

"Where the Hellion's. Blink, can you get us out of here now?" Catseye asked before turning to the pink-skinned and magenta haired girl with full green eyes and strange markings on her face.

Abel thought she looked like some form of alien before he saw her create a large pink rimmed portal of space in front of the group while the red headed girl and the buff monster of a man rejoined the group.

"Beef. Help the new guy. He's lost too much blood and is barely able to stay awake." A full-grown man said. This man seemed to be the leader of the group. He has tanned skin with shoulder length shiny black hair with a physically imposing figure of his own, though he had much larger mass than the man identified as Beef. Aside from wearing a matching suit with the rest of the group, he stood out in not just his age but by the native American markings on his face.

"Let's go tiny." Beef joked before picking Abel up in a bridal carry while the blonde disk forming girl started snickering at the site.

"Call me tiny again and I swear I will…Do something drastic." Abel said in a weak voice while Beef let out a laugh before walking through the portal.

"I like you already."

Entering a portal that bends space and time is a strange experience to say the least. One moment, Abel was within a forest and now he suddenly was in a medical room like lab. Beef put him on the table and in that moment, Abel succumbed to his exhaustion and pain as he blacked out.

Abel woke up with a massive spike of pain in his shoulder along with a few other sore spots on his body. When he opened his eyes, he noticed that a person was standing over him in a lab coat that belonged to a doctor.

This woman has shoulder length green hair with fair skin, and she glanced down at Abel and saw that he had finally woken up.

"So, your back among the living. You owe Sharon a big thank you." The woman said with a smirk while glancing at the paper and clipboard in her hands. "She did a good job making sure you didn't bleed out all over the place until I showed up."

"Sharon?"

"Oh, right. You probably know her as Catseye if she used her codename in the field. If not, you can know her as the girl with the catlike features. My name is Lorna by the way. The doctor of this place." Lorna said before she flexed her hands and leviated a metal chair to the side of the bed and took a seat. "Can you move your arm a bit for me?"

Abel sat up and tried moving his bandaged shoulder as best he could, but his shoulder movement was limited and in the lower right side of his view he saw a broken bone icon which probably meant that his shoulder wouldn't be too useful anytime soon. His range of motion wasn't too great all things considered.

"Not bad. Could be worse." Lorna replied before Abel spoke again.

"Where am I?"

"You're in the Massachusetts Academy for mutants. The headmistress picked up on your telekinesis along with a gathering of negative emotions around you and decided to rescue you from your would-be murders."

"Everything I had is gone now…My family…There dead because of me." Abel said with a heavy voice as tears started to form in his eyes.

"This isn't your fault kid. It's mutant bigotry that's at fault. The people who tried to kill you for being different are the one's responsible." Lorna said in a serious tone of voice and Abel couldn't say that the woman was wrong in her statement, but he still felt somewhat responsible.

"So, what's going to happen to me?"

"That's up to you and the headmistress." Lorna said before the door to the doctor's lab opened and walking into the room was the headmistress herself known as the White Queen aka Emma Frost.

Emma was a beautiful woman to say the least with a supermodel figure, long blonde hair with flawless skin and light makeup decorating her face as she is wearing a white jacket over a black half shirt with white skinny jeans and high heels on her feet.

"How's the patient?" Emma asked before Lorna stood up.

"He's banged up pretty bad. But nothing that won't heal with rest and time."

"Excellent. Now, could you leave us for a moment?" Emma asked while Lorna saw herself out and Emma took Lorna's former seat for herself before looking at Abel. "You're a lucky young man Abel. You're the first mutant I've successfully managed to detect with my psionic abilities that have been amplified with a device known as cerebro. Or at least my own version of it anyway."

"I'm guessing that it was your people who saved me."

"That would be an accurate assumption. So, tell me. What is it that you want to do now?" Emma asked after placing a hand on her chin.

"I don't know. I don't have a home to go back to and I'm not entirely sure I can trust you. I mean, I'm glad you guys saved me, but you could be terrorist for all I know." Abel replied while Emma chuckled.

"Caution is the mark of intelligence. Only a fool would blindly trust strangers. My name is Emma Frost, and this institution was created to help mutants like you find their proper place in society. A place where they can freely explore their powers and find the limits of their true potential academically, physically, emotionally and so on."

"You run a school?"

"I do. So, how would you like a tour?" Emma asked before Abel nodded his head and got off the table to follow Emma out and through the school grounds while seeing a game screen appear before his eyes.

Main Story Quest Completed!

Reward: 300 XP!

You have leveled up! Level: 1-2! You have gained 5 AP, 5 SP and 1 PP!

"Also, who changed my clothes?" Abel asked when he finally noticed that he was now dressed in an undamaged T-shirt and jeans with sneakers on his feet.

"That would be Lorna. She's extremely professional I assure you." Emma said before taking Abel on a full tour of the school allowing him to see the other dozens of mutant teens, teachers and staff along with the various classes and activities that the school had to offer. "You've already met the Hellion's. Catseye, Firestar, Roulette, Thunderbird, Beef, and Empath.

They were some of my first students and those whom I deemed worthy of protecting the school as the Hellion's. Also, yes, I am aware that Thunderbird is a grown adult, but he still had things to learn, and I was glad to teach him how things worked in the modern world outside of his tribe." Emma explained before the tour ended at a large fountain near the main entrance of the snow-covered school.

"Why bother having a fountain that freezes like this?" Abel asked his off-topic question when he poked at the ice inside the fountain.

"Appearances are often worth a thousand words. So, tell me Abel. Can you see yourself becoming a student at this school?"

"Honestly, I can. This place offers me a lot and I doubt I'd make it far on my own if I decided to leave. So, I'm willing to become a student here but I'm still not one hundred percent sure I can fully trust you yet." Abel replied honestly while Emma chuckled.

"Fair enough. Now, I'll have someone take you to your new room in the school." Emma replied before leaving Abel for a bit. Abel was a bit ashamed of how long he watched the woman walk away and how tight those pants were, but he decided that thoughts like that were best kept to himself and simply waited for someone to come speak to him.

"Your Abel, right?" a telepathic voice said within Abel's mind and despite his shock, he knew that his powers allowed him to reply to the stranger who was nowhere in sight. The most disturbing part was that the singular voice sounded like five other voices overlapping each other.

"I am. Who are you? Also, is this what telepathy feels like all the time? It's like a weird tingling in my brain."

"Yeah, you'll get used to that as your telepathy gets stronger. Now, were heading your way, so try not to freak out when you see us…Or think some pervy thoughts. We already know you've checked out our mother's ass." The strange voice said again much to Abel's embarrassment as his cheeks turned a bright red color before he noticed five identical girls walking up to him from the main entrance of the school.

Each girl looked like a younger version of Emma Frost, but they were dressed more conservatively with sweaters, jeans and boots for the cold conditions.

"Wow…You all look identical to your mother." Abel said a bit awkwardly to the girls.

"She's technically our mother from a biological standpoint, but she didn't give birth to us." One of the quintuplets said. "I'm Sophie. These are my sisters Phoebe, Irma, Celeste, and Esme. Come with us."

Abel didn't say a word as the girls lead him to his room in the male dorms before leaving. They didn't seem to want to speak with him and Abel didn't really blame them since he was a stranger and apparently, they had read his mind and saw that he had some impure thoughts about Emma, but in his defense, Emma was insanely hot.

The room he had been given is a bit minimalist with a sizeable bed, walk in closet, a flatscreen on the wall along with a student work desk and a window with the blinds raised to show the snowy wilderness and the snowflakes that started to fall.

"Well, I guess now is as good a time as any to figure out how to enhance myself." Abel said before focusing on his gamer powers to try and summon a status sheet and thankfully he managed to do just that.

"The attribute points are basically my core stats and I guess I need to use skill points to level up my skills instead of just using them recklessly to grind them up. Perks are self-explanatory too." Abel said before he went to work on altering his stats.

"Okay, now let's increase my skill levels." Abel commented before summing his skill lists and saw that he had a decent list of skills already. Mostly they were things like school studies and cleaning, so he didn't really put any points into those skills.

"Between all the perks I had to choose from, this one is the most practical and beneficial." Abel said to himself before he grabbed the tv remote off the work desk and cut on the news to see what exactly was going on in this region along with the world at large and to his surprise, Abel already saw news reports on mutant hate groups and politicians. "Hatred exists everywhere. I shouldn't have expected anything different."

A/N: So, I'm rewriting yet another story and this one has a system based on the old school Fallout games of Fallout 3/New Vegas and not to mention elder scrolls magic and stuff.
