Chapter 12: Work in Progress

Back in Shockwave's Lab, Clockwerk is now fully assembled and stitched back together.

Megatron: Now before we install your T-cog so you can finally transform again, Shockwave has advised we do some movement tests to make sure you are working properly.

Clockwerk: Alright. Let me quickly ask. What is your current Alt. mode?

Megatron transforms into his current alternate mode. A Gray tank.

Megatron: Contrary to what organics think about their tanks, that they are slow, I as a tank can go at high velocities on top of rockets on me that allow flight.

Clockwerk: Impressive.

Megatron: (Transforms back) Enough chit-chat. Show me your current abilities.

The Owlbot begins to move his wings and claws and begins to take flight. He flies out of the lab and all around the lair. Megatron follows him and he, along with all the other Decepticons seeing him are impressed. But suddenly Clockwerk starts bumping into walls and ceilings. Megatron notices his head is shaking and glitching. The Birdbot crashes to the ground. Everyone surrounds him.

Megatron: Are you alright!?

Clockwerk: I may not be…..

His head continues to shake and glitch until he starts to speak, but everyone is confused to hear a female voice come out of him.

?: COOPER, I-! (Looks around) Where am I? Who are you people?

Megatron: Clockwerk?

?: No, the name is Clock-La! Last thing I remember is attempting to attack Paris when the wretched Cooper Gang caused me to crash!

Megatron: SHOCKWAVE! OVER HERE! NOW!

Shockwave: Yes, Megatron!

Megatron: Take him back to the lab and examine him further. It may be tedious but-

Suddenly, the Owl's head starts to shake violently again. It then speaks.

Clockwerk: Me-Megatron?

Megatron: You just had a different voice. A female one and spoke as if someone possessed you.

Clockwerk: I have come to a realization. For all of my life on Earth, I stayed in shape and survived thousands of years without any Cybertronian energy sources. Immortality as the Earth people call it. This was thanks to a component of me called the Hate Chip. I don't remember who made or gave it to me, but I just realized now that I lo-

Yet again, his head shakes and the female voice returns.

Clock-La: Get me out of here so I can kill the Cooper Gang and finally destroy Paris!

Megatron: (To Shockwave) Get him to the lab and keep examining him, stat!

Later, Megatron and Shockwave are looking at the main lair computer. Examining the news report from a few years back that first told Megatron that his long lost friend was on Earth, looking for clues on what had just occurred.

Shockwave: Hold on. It says here that our prisoner, Carmelita, got her job back after being framed by another Interpol worker named "Constable Neyla". It goes on to say that her current whereabouts are unknown.

Megatron: Intriguing.

Megatron turns back to see Carmelita in the cell and walks over to her.

Carm: I'm not talking to you no matter what! In case you forgot, my new cellmate is your usual punching bag, so take your rage out on him! Vete a la mierda también.

Megatron: Who was Constable Neyla?

Carm: Oh, Neyla? She was my Interpol partner for a while…. That is until the Alpha Bitch framed me and sold me out to the Contessa, causing me to be imprisoned and almost mind-controlled. She was a secret member of the Klaww Gang and betrayed their leader trying to rebuild Clockwerk and possessed the Demon Metal Bird, planning to attack Paris until Sly and I formed an Alliance and shot her down and UUGGGHHHH! I'm just glad that backstabbing bitch is dead! (Breathes angrily).

Megatron: That is all I needed to hear.

Megatron walks back to the lab. Once he's gone, Starscream makes a smug comment.

Starscream: Sooo… were you two like "Partners" partners? The type of partners who would do "interesting" things to each other when no one was around? THAT type of relationship?

Carmelita gives the Seeker a frustrated and pissed look.

Back in the lab, Megatron comes in to see Clockwerk in stasis (again, Transformers term for sleep) on the bed.

Shockwave: I put him in stasis. His split personality was getting wild. Reminds me of Blitzwing. Do you have any more information on the situation?

Megatron: Getting him back online and battle ready is gonna be a lot tougher than we thought. Oh, yes! That Neyla did possess Clockwerk at one point. She was defeated by Cooper and Ms. Fox and that is when they took our Owl friend's body apart and hid the components. What is odd is that the Military seemingly never found any sign of Neyla, but she can still possess Clockwerk….. Take him partially apart again and look for any sign of her.

Megatron walked out and Shockwave did what his master commanded with the help of Baronite. After a while of tinkering, he thought they finally found the cause of the possession problem and it was a bit scary. What he found in Clockwerk ... .was Neyla's rotted corpse! Being a Decepticon a bit used to seeing dead organics, he wasn't phased at all.

Shockwave: Ugh! Disgusting rotting organic! (Throws corpse to Baronite) Dispose of it!

Baronite walked though the main room to dispose of Neyla. Carmelita was shocked and a bit horrified to see the decayed corpse of her traitor of a partner, but somewhat felt a tiny bit of sense of "That's what she deserves!". As Baronite walked back to the Lab after disposing, Carmelita examined them further. They still looked familiar. Then she saw a small string attached to them with a pink flower on it.

Carm: (To herself) No! It can't be!? The Black Knight armor like body? The pink flower!? It can't possibly be…..her!?
