Chapter 21: A Dream of Great Ambition
On the same night, on the other side of…. something….Starscream was in stasis. In stark contrast to Sly's absolute worst and horrific nightmare, the former Second-in-command was having the best dream a bot like him could want.
After an absolutely brutal battle with the Autobots where many sparks were extinguished, the remaining Decepticons were all aboard their Space Shuttle transport, Astrotrain, who was heading through space to Cybertron. Megatron was the most damaged and weak of the group after a beating and slashing from Optimus Prime. Astrotrain was pretty full.
Astrotrain: Jettison some weight or I'll never make it to Cybertron.
Starscream: Fellow Decepticons! Astrotrain has requested that we lighten our burden. Astrotrain! How much do you estimate that we should sacrifice?
Astrotrain: Maybe…..I dunno… something heavy and useless.
Starscream: In that case I say it is survival of the fittest! I say we sacrifice Megatron! He's old, torn, weak, has never gotten us anywhere in our battles with the Autobots!
Megatron: WEAK! I AM NOT- (Coughs and wheezes heavily)
Starscream: Do I hear a second on that?
Every Decepticon (Except Megatron): AYE!
Starscream: And against?
No one is opposed
Starscream: The Ayes have it!
He picks up the extremely weak former leader and walks over to the open door out into space.
Starscream: (Smiling) Oh! How it pains me to do this!
Megatron: WAAAIITT! I STILL FUNNNCCCTTIOON!
Starscream: Wanna bet?
Starscream drops Megatron off into space, leaving him quickly behind.
Megatron: STARSCEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMM!
Astrotrain's door closes.
Megatron quickly freezes in deep space. Optimus gave him a lot of deep wounds. The space freeze starts to leak into them, causing his spark to completely extinguish.
Starscream: Well, as Megatron has, how shall we say "departed" I nominate myself as the new leader!
Absolutely no one is opposed to him. No one challenges him for leadership. No one even questions it, not even Megatron's most loyalists such as Soundwave.
Flash forward a while later, Starscream is given an absolutely glorious coronation on Cybertron as new Decepticon leader, complete with crown and cape, where absolutely NOTHING goes wrong. The female Decepticons are swooning over him.
Everyone: ALL HAIL STARSCREAM!
The new leader then saw a Decepticon who looked new. She had a female seeker body type, but had a Fox-like face and tail.
Starscream: C- Carmelita!?
Carmeous: It's Carmeous now. After I got out, I was like "Why the Hell not?". I quit my shitty law enforcement job, 100% broke up with that bastard trash panda who ruined my life for absolute good and asked Shockwave if I could be his next test subject.
Starscream: An Earth organic Police officer wanting to become a Decepticon? This is good comedy.
Carmeous: (Romantically embraces him) Ya think?
BACK IN REALITY…..
Starscream is sleeping peacefully, but sometimes sleep talking. Carmelita is awake, maybe listening a bit.
Starscream: (Sleep talking)...uuuuhhhhhhhhh….DIE MEGATRON DIE!...Who is the superior now!...
His cellmate just rolls her eyes and goes to sleep.
WRITER NOTE: I know you are all probably tired of Carmelita in the cell for most of the story, but trust me, she will get out.
